Poor communication, untrained support agents, riders allegedly taking customers' food while using rented accounts, and a company that appears to take little or no action on customer reports. My order was never delivered, yet I was left without my food and without a satisfactory resolution. Extremely disappointing service.

I ordered food from them but forgot to change my number to my new one. When the driver came i have no idea. I was on my phone and never recived any notfication he was here. I look at the app and my order was missing and then it said it was delvered. I concatacted support and they said it was my fault and so they wont refund me or give me a new order. They just stole my money and food.

I would rate Deliveroo zero stars if that was an option. I ordered a Tesco whoosh delivery and the company that do those deliveries is Deliveroo. I did not get my shopping order which was paid for in advance. The deliveroo driver failed to find the address despite having the eircode. The phone call from him came via a Dublin landline number which is unreachable always when one rings it. The driver rang just once and had very bad english. I wish Tesco and other companies would stop employing incompetent drivers.

My burrito was collected and delivered…
My burrito was collected and delivered In a timely manner however on notifications it said delivery man had another stop off before delivering to me. As a patient I ordered it to the hospital and when the bike pulled up the installation bag to keep food warm was only half zipped. As a patient I could not reheat the burrito as understandly staff can't be using their microwave for patients' for health and safety operations. My burrito was not even tepid it was fully cold and had to bin it. Prior to that I contacted deliveroo immediately and stated they could send someone out to return my purchase as it was no use to me. For a €15.80 burrito that I paid for all deliveroo agreed to was a €3 refund. Very disappointed and will not be ordering from deliveroo again. Will go with just eats in future as food most likely delivered in a car rather than a bike

Worst customer service. The order was left outside and when i came outside, there was nothing. Support agent told refund will be initiated within 48 hours and it's been more than 10 days now and still no refund.
Zero stars if I could
Zero stars if I could. Ordered a nandos. Driver claimed he called, he didn't. Staying in hotel with a reception and they now claim left on door step as couldn't get hold of me (lie) I was waiting outside, also if they couldn't get me, talk to reception who are right next to the door. Scammers.

Incorrect items - stress & hassle to get refund
First time using Deliveroo (for McDonalds) as sick and unable to cook. €37 for 2 Big Mac meals and 2 McFlurrys! Foolishly gave a small tip in advance. Both ice creams were mini instead of full size (because they didn’t read properly that “mini eggs” didn’t mean “mini”).
Such hassle getting a refund. 5 attempts - 2 calls to McDonald’s unanswered, Online claim was refused but I received no notification, Online chat only credited one item as I had only sent a photo for one. I sent my daughter to search the bin outside to get a photo of both items. Agent was gone and had to request from another. Finally got my miserable €9.60 refunded after 24 hours and many attempts.
Miserable, mean company who care more about a few euro than their reputation. Will never use again.
I always try to order direct from restaurants but made a foolish exception this once!

I will never use deliveroo again! I ordered food from a restaurant in Belgium (FANTASTIQUE CROUSTY MOLENBEEK).
It never arrived. I was never contacted by the restaurant. Infact I called countless of times and I was sent straight to voicemail. Yet, when I reported it I was told that I would not be given my money back because “they are independent”. They lied about trying to contact me - I was staying in a hotel so if they tried to contact me, I’m pretty sure the hotel would have helped on their behalf.
I’ve reported this issue and tried to receive my money back but they keep giving me false solution resolving times. First it was 72hrs, I waited then it was another 72hrs and I waited again then 48hrs then I complained to them about what they’re doing and they just responded with they’re not giving me “compensation” which is very stupid because getting a refund isn’t compensation.
I should be able to get my money back because I never received the food!
All in all, I would rather use just eat than deliveroo ever again!!!!

As a customer - they’re over priced - poor customer service and profiting from having no major competitors.
Witnessing from the restaurants pov - the account services are inconsistent- not transparent and often sloppy.
They rank up the with clampers - it’s not a company I would be publicly boasting about
