Placed a order for several packs of panels on inspection when partly installing at our customer one pack of 12 were damaged severely this could likely have been done by the delivery company who dropped these on the car park against a wall which is were I feel they got damaged I contacted DBS with photos the first response was can you take them and we will refund £19 the total value was in excess of £125 this was not acceptable as the damage was severe
So the next offer was send them back we will inspect them and then we will send a replacement even though I explained both on the phone and on email we had dismantled the customers bathroom and this was not a practical solution the end result was my customer said if we could minimise the areas damaged and we would offer a discount on the product they would allow us to fit them so we give the full value of the product back to the customer so we lost money time and trust in our business that when thing go wrong we have contingency plans
They will tell there friends that although we were helpful we did an ok job
As for DBS well they could not care less about our reputation hence I feel I had to warn others

Any good business is built on service well good service is something lacking with this company

The company offer a good selection of products at a competitive price. I ordered the 8mm thick matt white ceiling panels and the following day was given a delivery date. The good thing with this company is that they deliver the order themselves. Consequently, potential damage during delivery does not occur.
I am totally satisfied with the service provided by DBS and will, no doubt, be using them again.

### Disappointing Customer Service – Incorrect Trim Colour

I ordered some panels for a utility room and was very pleased when they arrived. They actually arrived earlier than expected, which was a positive.

We had to arrange for somebody to come and fit the panels, so I had to wait until they were available to carry out the work.

When they came to fit them, we discovered that the trims we had been **advised by your company to purchase** were a completely different shade to the panels and simply did not match at all. Unfortunately, this was the only trim option available for the panels we had ordered.

Once the trims were put against the panels, it was immediately obvious that they looked completely wrong. We therefore had no choice but to go out and purchase different trims so that the job could actually be completed.

I then contacted your company to explain the situation and ask about returning the trims. The response I received was extremely disappointing. I was told, *“That's your choice to return them,”* and that I would have to pay **£35 to return them**.

I asked whether somebody could collect them if they were going to be in the area, but this was simply dismissed with a no. The woman on reception was extremely rude and seemed unwilling to listen to what I was actually explaining.

I explained that the trims were a different colour to the panels and that **I had purchased them based on the advice from your company**. I was told, *“You shouldn't have purchased them.”* But how was I supposed to know that the colour supplied would be completely different to the panels, particularly when this was the only trim option I was given?

I have now been left with trims that I cannot use, sitting in my shed, and I am also expected to pay £35 to return something that I purchased on your company's advice.

The attitude and customer service I received from the lady on reception were absolutely appalling. When dealing with customers, particularly when there is a genuine issue with a product and the advice given at the point of purchase, I would expect someone to at least listen and try to help find a reasonable solution.

Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will **not be using this company again and would not recommend it to others**. The quality of the initial service was good, but the way this issue has been handled has completely changed my opinion of the company.

Ordered on line wall panels for my new utility toilet, just what we were looking for. Realised they were based locally to me and could have collected them saving delivery charge. Called them and the helpful young lady refunded delivery charge no problem and when I went to pick them up even put them in the car. First class service and will definitely use again next year when we do our bathroom

At a very reasonable price . Delivered promptly with no issues.
The item itself is of good quality

Courier used is terrible. Shower panels rammed into small, over filled van with nothing secured. Five out of eight panels damaged. Trims damaged. All were replaced and sent via the same courier. Replacements also damaged but only at the ends this time so just about usable. This delay destroyed our timetable so we then couldn't start for weeks.

The trims were inspected on arrival, damaged ones replaced. They did appear to be what we ordered - white plastic trims. However when we finally cut a trim and put it on the wall against the white panels and bath it was extremely apparent that the trims were actually light pink and not white at all. They looked stupid against white trims, white bath suite and grey painted walls and couldn't be used. By this time we're long past any return date. So we had to buy more from Victorian Plumbing (theirs were blue/grey instead of pink!!!)

Worse, I then wrote a negative review of the trims on their website. X3 negative reviews for the 10mm white plastic end trim, internal & external corners. None of them have been published. So don't trust the star reviews on their website as they obviously only publish positive reviews.

EDIT AFTER DBS REPLY:

I stated in the review that your delays in getting us undamaged panels set us back weeks and then you tell me that you offer a 14 day money back guarantee. That's just laughing at me. At least Victorian Plumbing refunded my money. You shouldn't be selling pink trims advertised as white, but you are and continue to do so and quite blatantly, by your reply, don't care.

You also don't address the issue that you don't publish bad reviews of your products.

You really do deserve the one star and everyone should avoid your company.

I always use DBS Bathrooms for my pvc panelling installations. They have a great range of products which work really well as a feature in a lot of my shower area/bathroom installations. I highly recommend the 10mm panel in the shower area due to them being 1m wide, meaning less joints in the wet area. The 8mm panel is also a good choice which comes in 250mm wide or 375mm wide making installation in a full bathroom a lot easier. Customer service from DBS is also great and the order is also trackable on the day of delivery. Would highly recommend! 👍🏻

Second item bought and again great service. Good price and quick delivery, item dispatched the next day, delivered within timeframe. Quality is great. Good communication throughout. Will definitely use again for future purchases.

5mm panels - look OK but are easily damaged once installed - I would not recommend this thickness.

Ordered 20 panels for small shower room.
4 arrived partially damaged by courier (footprints all over packaging) - not suppliers fault.
3 panels slightly warped, did not fit together properly (small gap easily seen) - quality questionable.

Once installed 2 panels damaged after 1 week when tapped (lightly hit) with shower head. Very disappointing.

Summary you get what you pay for, these are not a robust solution to tiling a room.

Avoid this company unless you don't mind being out of pocket because of their incompetence and blatant lies. After multiple deliveries to replace damaged goods they delivered, they even wrote on the delivery note that the delivery was damaged, but they delivered it anyway. Absolutely shocking company.

DBS Bathrooms sell quality stuff at unbeatable prices. Their delivery is fast and good customer service.

I required some trims that were proving hard to find. Not only did DBS have what I needed in stock, they were very competitively priced and delivered the items well packaged within a couple of days. Couldn’t ask for more.

Purchased some gloss white pvc cladding from DBS bathrooms , some were gloss white and some were a shade of grey , DBS said I have left them out in the sun which which has made them change colour I have not , I contacted them on the same day as delivery.
They don't want to know !
I am halfway through a project, £170 down and don't know what to do know ?
Shocking response from this company, will never be spending any money with them ever again?
