Great umbrella

Well Made and Packed, Love the push button close and Loss protection , We’ll test the sturdiness in London in a few weeks and let you know how it does.

After loving my Davek Mini, I decided it was time to add a Davek Commuter. it arrived just in time for today's rain. I love it! So easy to use & it feels so much sturdier than all my other umbrellas. My Mini is still going to live in my car but the Commuter will be my go to on rainy days.

Have yet to test it with wind. However , the construction appears solid. It does shut hard, due to solid construction.

Love my Davek Umbrella. It will hopefully be my rainy day companion for the rest of my life. Classy, practical and a truly utilitarian device.

Quick shipment, quality product

We bought 3 umbrellas from Davek in the past. They were awesome. The 2 we just bought were not. The quality is not the same.

I recently purchased three Davek umbrellas (a Mini and two Solo/9” models) based on their high ratings, but the reality didn't match the $95 price tag.
The Reality Check: * Materials: The fabric feels average at best. Compared to my $65 Weatherman, the Davek feels flimsy and lacks the high-denier quality you’d expect for nearly $100.
The "Mini" is a Toy: The construction is mostly plastic and feels more suited for a child. It is significantly smaller than the specs suggest in practical use.
Ergonomics: The handles are thick and heavy (zinc alloy), making them very uncomfortable for anyone with smaller hands.
Value: I have $30 LifeTek umbrellas from Amazon that feel sturdier.
Conclusion: You aren't paying for a superior umbrella; you’re paying for a "Lifetime Guarantee" and "Loss Protection" insurance policy. Based on the quality and the price, they should be able to easily replace each five times over and still maintain a respectable margin. If you want a tool that actually handles a storm comfortably, look elsewhere. Returning all three.

I was impressed with the shipping and handling of my son’s birthday present. It arrived ahead of schedule as Dave’s sent it on its way promptly. He sent me a picture of it and the packaging was done with care. Haven’t had the pleasure of using it yet but spring rains are coming soon and I am confident it will live up to its potential!

Poor packaging. I received dirty umbrella. The umbrella (black) doesn't match the case (dark blue). The quality wasn't as expected. It's not worth the price and reputation.

It's everything I was hoping for. I chose the navy blue, it's stunning. I'm saving up for another one for my wife before she takes this one.

The quality of this umbrella does not meet my expectations.
