This should be called date in a slapdash!
After months of thinking about going for the first time I finally made the plunge.
I bought a ticket based on the fact women were sold out, despite this there were more men than women. If you also factor in there were ‘friends’ brought along. I mean why the fcku sell multiple tickets, the word greed springs to mind!
So factoring this in your against the odds before you start, say 20/14.
2 of the women were drunk and one of them was even abusive towards myself. Despite reporting it to the organiser, he didn’t care.
I’m not saying I’m an oil painting or anything but maybe I was unlucky as most were unattractive (which is not the be and end all) or had no personality, or both. To summarise an event for desperate women.
If you want further proof, why is it most guys hung about at the end for a few drinks and all the women couldn’t get out the door fast enough.
The event had loud music playing forcing you to shout at each other, by the sixth person I had a soar throat. There wasn’t even a break to grab a drink or use the toilet and I was bursting. This is a kind review I could go into a lot more detail but I think you get the point. Better than online dating? Marginally…….
On the plus side good for meeting some nice guys!

Sorry but this is another load of complete nonsense!! Ok, so the event in question was Speed Dating at Forge bar on Friday 3rd November. The event had 20 men and 17 women. A few people didn't turn up so 3 extra guys at the bar (he says there wasn't a break for the toilet but every man had 3 rounds out of the speed dating due to the unequal ratio so this is lie number #1).
It's very hard for us to always get an equal ratio as people drop out but we do our best. I don't understand your comment about 'selling multiple tickets' people like to come along with their friends. I understand you may not have any friends but others do (maybe that is why some guys hung around at the bar afterwards!)
Considering I was the host of this event on Friday night, I can categorically say that you did not make any complaint to me about a drunk woman otherwise I would have asked her to leave.
The comment about the women being unattractive, having no personality or both is just rude. Please can you upload a photo onto your DateinaDash profile so I can see what you look like?!
You can say it's an event for 'desperate women' but you were there too pal.
So here is the real truth, I have just logged into his account and our dear friend Alex has ticked every single female as a 'Yes' for this event (you know, the same women he has just insulted above as being unattractive with no personality) he has then got 3 matches and has even sent them messages through out portal.
Here is a message he sent to one of the daters..

So happy we matched. There was only 1 match I really wanted & it was you!

I am really not sure why you would leave such a false review about our event and actually go out of your way to not only leave it on here but on several other websites. If you didn't have a good time you wouldn't have ticked everyone 'yes', you wouldn't have sent messages to several ladies you have matched with and you wouldn't be exchanging messages on WhatsApp.
Maybe you were blown out by Olia and this is your way of making yourself feel better about yourself? I'll speak to her later and find out..
I'm glad you agree that Speed Dating is better than online dating but sadly for you unless you edit this review or remove it then it will be the only thing you'll be doing.

Definatly reccomend DATING IN A DASH speed dating events…
I can reccomend the speed dating events from Dating in a Dash. They're well organised, are at an ideal location, have a good mix of ages & personalities & most importantly, are far better than a dating app or site. Meeting a selection of different, interesting & bubbly ladies face to face is far better as you get an instant idea of a connection or spark. Give it a go, it's a fun night out.

Excellent & Very Comfortable Event!
I wasn't sure about going to an event hosted by DateinaDash. However, I'm really glad I did. Rob handled the event very well. No matter which seat you start on, Rob ensures everyone gets their turn to chat with everyone! Additionally, he provides a card and pencil so you can tick whom you may want to pursue further. Then you can go on his website and tick people that may have also matched with you. You can also message your match via his website. Which is really good, as you can connect with someone before giving out your phone number.

Goood quality events
I have attended a couple of their events. They are well organised, high quality and balanced which I appreciate. The host Tom is also a really nice guy. I have only ever done speed dating with this company

I’m not a fan of the apps
I’m not a fan of the apps, came across this event and very glad I gave it a go. Nice format, well-organised and good people at each event I’ve attended. Great they’ve now added a small form for you to keep track of who you want to follow-up with, as you can very easily forget who’s who! Would defo recommend.

I really enjoyed the event
I really enjoyed the event! I twas very well organised and the hosts very welcoming. They explained everything upon arrival and made you feel welcome. The dates were fun and one could have many great and friendly chats. The age group matched as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a partner, date or just a fun night out. Also, DateinaDash are very responsive in case you have any questions etc.

Speed dating experience
I attended to a speed dating last Friday the 14, it was fun and I had the opportunity to speak with different guys, it was something different.
Rob the hostess is really relax and definitely helps to break the ice so makes easy start the conversation with all the people that we were there.
Definitely recommend the experience 👌!!

Bingo Event is random.. but great fun!
Went to a Bingo Event and found the format to be a really enjoyable one (even just for the bingo!) The combination of random event helped to instantly diffuse any potential awkwardness that might come along with the traditional speed dating format, and also just made it much more fun generally. Some nice, if random (hence the bonkers name!), prizes too! (e.g. a banana; a model car etc!) Affable fellow attendees who all seemed to also enjoy the novel format.

Very positive experience
I was initially hesitant to try again speed-dating after a negative experience couple of years ago. Nevertheless, I was very positively suprised. Firstly, the host was so much fun which made me feel at ease. The venue (at London Bridge) was absolutely fab. The turnout was great and I laughed so much. I'd definitely recommend DateinaDash.

A fun night of speed dating
I have had the opportunity to participate in speed dating events organized by this company on multiple occasions, and I have always found them very enjoyable. From selecting good venues to the actual speed dating process. The organizers create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere allowing you relax and be yourself at the event. If you're looking for a memorable night of speed dating, I highly recommend choosing them.

Amazing speed dating event
Went to a speed dating event in Shoreditch and had the best time. It was well organised and I had a lot of fun! The girls stayed at the table while the guys moved around every 5 minutes and 5 minutes was a good enough time to talk to someone! I stayed after and even tho I didn’t meet any guys I liked I made friends with a lot of the girls and had a great time! Will definitely be doing a speed dating event with this company again! Thankyou Rob for the event!

It was nice seeing people in real life (better than the dating apps). Well organised. Perhaps these kinds of things could have an ice breaker and I also think there should be one for 27- 35 year olds too.

THEY CANCEL AND THEY DONT WANT TO REFUND
They advertise as you will meet 200 singles in a party which is really untruth, they cancelled the day before the party after noon and they didn't even informed the venue the event was cancelled. No employee at the venue knew that this party was booked or going to take place. Therefore, certainly there was no proper booking and obviously that 200 people didn't exist either. I asked for a refund and they declined saying I should check my email at all times . So it is now my fault for not spotting their cancellation with such short notice. They didn't even have the courtesy to inform the venue that if someone turned up they informed it was cancelled. I went to one event before of this company and was incredibly boring. I still want my refund because other companies organizing this type of events always refund if they cancelled.

Firstly, Sara was refunded before this review was published. We do not decline refunds but we do offer to transfer guests to another event first. Unfortunatley this event was postponed due to a general lack of interest in this particular venue and age group. We did not sell enough tickets so we decided to cancel it a few days before the event. We did send an e-mail explaining this to everyone who had booked but unfortunately Sara did not check her e-mails and turned up to this event. We always asks guests to check their e-mails on the day of the event incase of any venue changes or cancellations. It is also very helpful if guests can provide a correct phone number when they sign-up as this is the preferred method of contact for us. Of course we informed the venue that the event would not be taking place but if you spoke to a bartender then the likelihood is they would not have known about the events that are going on that night. I am sorry to hear that you found the previous event you attended 'boring' which does make me question why you would book again but I do hope that you will give us another chance to leave you with a positive experience.
