Horrible mistake of changing software
I been using their product since 2012 they had 3sixty one of the best software I have ever used since then they change their software lat time I called when they moved me to datone its one of the worst software I spent hours on the phone and agent hang-up on me then I called and asked for manager or supervisor I told them that they get bad reviews and they replied that people don't have anything alse to do and they write bad reviews as reading all reviews I understand I'm not the only person who doesn't like their new product I'm sure trucking companies will invest in their own software and better.. truck companies let's get it done.

Worst customer service
They eliminated a legacy product that everyone still used without making sure it functioned correctly, their new forced system is an absolute headache spend your money on Truck Stop or 123 load board before patronizing this company, they do not care at all about their consumers only what they think their consumers want, I was told when I brought this poor decision to their attention that they had 30% of their paying customers tell them to leave it alone and instead they decided to fail out of school instead of showing up for class.
The response is typical and I have already spent hours on the phone, and text chatting with your staff, you do not listen you do not take advice you are just like everyone else and think you can shove things down peoples throats. I hope you bomb out of the industry no company is to big to fail. do not know who is running things there but they need to be removed from their position. Listening to the Titans only serves the Titans not the people who do 90% of the industry work.

Horible software to use.
Their agent blocked our account we have been using for years, no security issues and our agent name is in their system she decided there is a security risk and they are working to see can we use the account or not.
We have paid them for this very horrible service and not to mention their constant site breaks where we are not allowed to access it at all. As of today we are switching to Truckstop.com and i suggest all carriers out there to do the same.

Weed out the bad brokers...the one who…
Weed out the bad brokers...the one who double broker loads and / or don't pay once you deliver load. And don't have any phone number listed on your load board and don't have a website...and no other way to contact them except thru a personal email

I like it overall
I like it overall. One of the only negatives are the few and repeated bad apple brokers that post the same load from numerous cities and 1 lb just to get around filters. Example would be TQL repeatedly posting a load over one hundred miles from actual shipper. On the app it also is too easy to swipe and accidentally remove a load you were looking and have no way to undo like you can with an email. Basically it would be nice if I could after save load or remove it that it ask to confirm.

Duplicate loads
My chief complaint or concern is the massive duplication of loads. Extreme fluctuations in mileage of posted loads versus what the broker says when called. The other column needs to broken into more subgroups. Easier way to share loads between drivers and dispatchers.

Data interpretation by DAT.
I've come to realization that "general market rate" that everyone is referring to is created on DAT mainframe using a blunt way of data interpretation when it comes to TL and LTL shipments.
I have requested a deeper look into an issue and asked to be kept in the loop of this investigation.
In other words, data collected from TMS does NOT reflect the difference between TL shipment requests and LTL partial loads. This failure in data interpretation affects so called "market per mile rate" in certain regions to the point of making it difficult and not cost efficient to move the freight. This affects road safety and general well being of truck drivers.
I'd really like that addressed and fixed on your end. Thank you.

Unethical Business
We are a minority woman owned business that is being discriminated against by DAT Freight & Analytics. We have been loyal paying customers since our brokerage was formed. On 5/19 we were made aware that there was pending no pay complaints on our account and it would be suspended. We addressed the complaints and provided documentation the loads were paid. The account remained active. On 8/1 we our bond expired and was cancelled, 3 days later the bond was reactivated. DAT was contacted to resume service, but we were made aware that DAT would once again need all of the proof that the previous no pay complaints were paid. On Friday, 8/11 all of the documentation was sent to T from the compliance team at DAT. She assured us that she would review all of the information before the end of the day. At the end of business on Friday 8/11, T emailed stating due to being short staffed she did not complete the review. At this time we sent an email to multiple people at DAT requesting to speak with someone who could help us. We were connected to T W who is the head of the compliance department. Through multiple phone conversations and emails T was once again provided all of the payment details for the no pay complaints in question. This was very frustrating as we had provided the payment information multiple times. T advised that she would be the final decision maker in regards to our relationship with DAT. T advised that DAT takes no pay complaints very seriously and that if she did in fact reactivate our account, if there was another no pay complaint she would deactivate the account. Before the call ended T was asked some questions about brokerages who are currently in bankruptcy, but were still being allowed to operate on DAT even though thousands of carriers will not be paid, she became very angry and stated it was none of my business. T proceeded to decline our request to reactivate and DAT has not responded to emails. Unethical..

Not that good anymore…
Most of the loads posted on DAT are posted multiple times (as much as 30 times for the same load), this makes it very time consuming and annoying to say the least.
DAT claims to be helping to prevent fraud but fraud continues to run rampant with many load posters stating ‘email only’ and posting gmail addresses that have nothing to do with the original brokers email address.
With all the brokers offering free load boards now, it’s time consuming to go through them all but at least they’re not riddled with fraudulent load postings, which is probably better than overpaying for a name brand load board that claims to have 100’s of 1000’s of loads per day (deduct all the multiple postings and it’s really not that many).

Dear DAT,
Our account was suspended without given any chance to complete the requirements and what exactly is required.
I was told to have a US address on file for company SOS & SAFER, Virtual Address was not accepted and we got the things updated and still hold was not removed without giving any reason.
We are a seed funded company and were about to raise $10 million of Series A funding but due to this unexpected HIT of DAT, Dreams seems to be getting vanish now.
On that Day, No one from compliance team was willing to help us .
I am genuinely asking please support us to get things sorted and please don't kill a founder's dream.
Last Time I spoke to compliance in May Month , they said we need to have US based account owner or employee ; as earlier Data of company's Director/President was not public,today it's public now and is visible on SOS website and Company's President is a US based Green Card Holder and present in US.
Company's address has been updated now.
DAT, do you require anything else?
Please guide & resolve.

I don't like the range of pickup
I don't like the range of pickup. I would suggest from 450 to 600 . Plus the mileage you give for some loads is way off. All and all it's just a sight to find loads . My thoughts is if all these big companies have freight or even to be a broker they should know how much it cost to run a truck.

Review of DAT REVIEWS
I am in charge of vendor management for my company. We are a national account for DAT. Dat always replies quickly when we have questions or problems and they are working hard to solve the impersonation issues they are having. I recently had a call with them and it went very well. I have been working recently on getting our score up in the DAT DIRECTORY by getting carriers who we work with regularly to review us. It's going well. The ONLY minor complaint I have is that I made my nickname something silly and now I can't change it. I wish i could.
What is DAT doing ?!
I am a affiliate for the DAT Power loadboard. I have been using it for 2 years now. I just discovered that in the free trial version, users are no longer able to view rates. Who made this decision because it did not used to be like this? If I were a new user, I would not sign up due to the fact that the free trial makes my experience more difficult & time consuming. This was not a good business move on behalf of DAT. Can this be reversed? I also don't like the new platform. Thankfully I can still search from the old platform. DAT needs to give people the option to choose between the old platform and new - also not lowballing on the free trial because it's honestly misleading and serves no purpose if you can't see rates. It makes it much harder to sift through loads. DAT also has alot of fraud going on so it's starting to become a low end board. I really want to keep promoting this brand but I am not happy with changes!

DAT is good
DAT is good: However we have had issues with missing load information that waists our time in calling on loads, ie, rpm, weights, correct load info, not taking the load off the board once booked and leaving on for several hours.
DAT is full of information like forecasting information but what we need most is accurate and up to date loads and load information. The entire existence of the load board is to provide accurate load information not so you can show the total load amount higher than it actually is.
AS far as other load board I would highly recommend them for Flatbed, Reefer and Dry van, however their Hotshot loads are lacking.
