Unprofessional Rude Unhelpful Company
Awful company. I bought a garden furniture set costing over £900. I was advised my order had been collected by the haulage company and they would contact me to arrange delivery. Because I knew I wasn't going to be in every day, I requested the name of the haulage company and tracking / consignment number so I could contact them directly and arrange delivery myself in case I missed their call.
A person called Mark from Dalbyliving kept refusing, then became highly aggressive, very rude, patronising and totally unprofessional. He kept insisting there was no tracking number, probably because he didn't understand how to find it himself. Something not quite right with him.
I explained at least three times I needed it to be able to contact the haulage company. Eventually he gave me their name but nothing else. I sent him a screen shot of the couriers webpage which asks for the consignment number but again he just dismissed me.
I said I could always cancel the order if he wasn't going to be helpful.... and next thing I know he has cancelled my order and sent me a snarky patronising email. Unbelievable.
So good riddence to Dalbyliving. I then found the same set cheaper elsewhere and with nicer colour chair covers anyway.
What a shame this company chose to loose a sale rather than provide very basic good customer service and a tracking / consignment number which ALL courier companies use.
Anyone would think I had asked for something unreasonable - nope - just the tracking number.
I will not be buying anything else from this company in the future. They do not understand basic customer service, or how to conduct themselves professionally.
They even use reviews.ai which is a ''paid for'' review service so they dont let anyone post negative reviews about them as they are all controlled by the company, so it always appears as if they only get positive reviews. Not transparent and not a trustworthy company whatsoever. Everything about them is phoney. Thats why only Trustpilot shows the actual truth. Oh dear.
How some companies like Dalbyliving ever stay in business with this kind of poor customer service and unprofessional attitude is anyones guess.
