Re: Basingstoke Branch - The cleaners poorly cleaned the items I gave them to clean, and proceeded to clean other items I told them not to. They also damaged my freshly painted walls and baluster. I asked for a refund but no responsibility was taken, in conclusion I was rudely denied any money, discount or reparatory cleaning service.

Used my private driveway to do a three-point turn, instead of driving 10-seconds up the road where there’s a turning circle. This company is working frequently on my road so well aware of the turning circle merely seconds away.
The clearly don’t respect a person’s private property so I wouldn’t trust them to clean my house.

Extortionate amount of money for a basic service from the Stamford team. We asked, were quoted and paid for a thorough/deep clean of our key living spaces and essentially received a basic surface clean of the most obvious areas. Quoted for and expected a 220 minutes clean and 3 cleaners were here for 77 minutes. Key and obvious parts were missed in rooms despite the fact I insisted these rooms were the priority at the start. No effort or pride taken in the clean or work and only refunded £40. If it was my company I would have either come out and seen the job or sent them back. We still had to pay £108 which is ridiculous considering are previous cleaner charged us £30 for the same work and did a considerably better job. Stay well clear!

Absolutely appalled by the service of Daily Poppins Stamford. Booked a one off blitz clean of my house - quoted £148 for 220 mins. I put in an email I assumed this was more than one person for this amount of time at that price and I was not corrected about this. So when 3 people turned up and cleaned for just over an hour I was horrified! I was told the time is divided by 3!!! Nearly £50 an hour completely outrageous when I had paid my previous cleaner £15 an hour and she was marvelous. If I had known that in advance I would have not gone anywhere near as firstly that is extortionate and secondly there is no way a house can be thoroughly cleaned in that amount of time. When I complained I was told it wasn’t possible to do a thorough clean in that time - then why on earth quote for it!! And on the invoice they wrote ‘thorough clean’ it was barely a surface clean. They did offer a partial refund however I still paid 3 times what I would have done for my previous cleaner.

Have gone back through all emails and you did not in any email explain what the costs included so this is a lie in your reply. I said clearly the costs must be for more than 1 person and you did not say that was incorrect. I said I wanted a full ‘blitz’ of the house this was not done in any room let alone of the house. The rooms that were requested to be priority also not thoroughly cleaned. When the 3 people turned up we expected all of them to be there for the 220 minutes based on the price - I had actually expected 2 people for the 220 minutes so thought 3 was even better service……until they all left an hour and a bit later.
I would have expected a much larger refund and/or an offer to come back and complete the job.

Oxford Franchise. The team did an excellent job! very friendly and they stayed overtime to ensure the main requested areas were completed. Will definitely book again.

We have used Daily Poppins Oxford for number of years and never had an issue. Really good communication and cleaning standard.

Oxford Franchise. Paid for two visits, the quality of the clean on the first visit was underwhelming. Asked for my money back for the second visit and was refused. They didn't turn up for a second visit.

I contacted ag___.fu____ at dailypoppins.com on 05/06/23 at 08:41 and 07/06/23 at 22:04, with no response after two weeks.

This is for the Cork franchise. Communication via email for a prospective end of tenancy cleaning was really good. However, the manager became so unprofessional and rude once I asked if I could pay the €100 deposit online by card instead of transferring to a bank account directly. I had expressed some scepticism that as we had not met in person nor had she seen the property I would rather pay online; she specifically wrote that if I couldn’t afford to pay €100 I can go somewhere else and further implied the 4 bed house was probably a student hostel!
