Would have been 5 stars, however poor communication has meant I’m not completely happy with the service.

I had ordered Superglass loft roll and Celotex PIR Board, but when I received the delivery notification I noticed the brands had been substituted for ODE loft roll and Percival PIR board. There was no communication beforehand and I had to ring the company myself to find out what was going on. I was told the thermal conductivity was the same, so it didn’t matter what brand I was sent even though the superglass roll covered 12m2 instead of the 10m2.
I was then told I could wait until I received it and send it back or accept the order and get refunded the difference. To me this causes more hassle on my end as I then have to organise a return or chase up for a refund. I’m still waiting to see the refunded amount transfer into my account.

To add to the point above I was told the reason was because they didn’t have any and there was a lead time of at least 6 weeks, yet their website showed the item being in stock.

The second aspect is delivery, I was sent one delivery text message, but I wasn’t given a date the delivery would occur on and on the day, the delivery driver just turned up and didn’t even call prior to delivery to let me know they were on the way. It was lucky I was working from home other wise I would have missed them.

One last point, this is more from my observation, but the fact the website doesn’t show you what’s in stock and the delivery message I received was from a drylining wholesaler and the delivery was through them and not via a courier organised through cut price insulation suggest to me this is middle man company, taking you’re order only to then order from a whole sailer with is fine providing you’re happy to work through a middle man.

The good points are competitive price and the packaging was good with no damage to any of the items I ordered.

The ordering process is straightforward, as was the delivery of materials. The only downside was a lack of communication as to the actual delivery date/day, which was important as no one would be at the property to assist. In the end I phoned in order to get this information.
