The psychotherapy and social work support I got at Critical Trauma after my accident meant more than I can say. My therapist helped me process the trauma and the depression that followed, and the social worker checked in with me regularly just to see how I was doing. That kind of consistent emotional support made a real difference in my recovery.
After my accident, the emotional side of recovery was honestly just as hard as the physical side. The psychotherapy I received at Critical Trauma helped me work through the trauma of the accident itself, as well as the mood changes and depression that came afterward. Having a therapist who understood both the psychological and physical toll of a brain injury made a real difference.The social worker on their team was also a huge support — regular check-ins that made me feel like someone was actually looking out for me, not just going through the motions. Between the two, I felt like I had real emotional backup during one of the hardest periods of my life. I'm grateful I had access to this kind of support in one place.

After my motor vehicle accident, I started treatment at Critical Trauma within about two weeks, and from my very first appointment I felt reassured. The intake process was thorough — they took the time to understand everything I was dealing with, including concussion symptoms, which meant a lot when I was feeling overwhelmed. Physiotherapy was a big part of my recovery. The clinic space itself is modern, clean, and well-organized, with private treatment areas that made me feel comfortable. Even though my focus was general recovery rather than sports performance, I could tell the staff had real expertise and up-to-date equipment. I also had TMS treatment for mood and depression related to the accident, which genuinely helped me through a really hard stretch. On top of that, I worked with a dietitian on nutrition to support my healing, had post-surgery rehab for a surgery tied to the accident, and did psychotherapy to work through both the trauma of the accident and the mood changes that came with it. The social worker on their team checked in on me regularly and gave me real emotional support when I needed it most. Through all of this, the admin staff were fantastic — smooth scheduling, they followed up to see how I was doing, and helped me navigate billing questions. Recovering from a brain injury is not easy, and having a team that treated the whole picture, not just one injury, made a huge difference. I'd recommend Critical Trauma to anyone recovering from an accident.
I have no issues with the therapists here at Critical Trauma Therapy. However, the customer service representatives could be way better. The ones I spoke to were very rude and unhelpful. It was basically a terrible waste of time talking to them. The communication from this company was awful, and I had to adjust my schedule twice due to this.
