We strive to deliver GeniusCash to most customers within 30 days of their application date by automatically receiving confirmation from the GeniusCash partner that the application for the product has been approved and that it meets all the eligibility criteria for GeniusCash.
Sometimes we don't receive this confirmation from the GeniusCash partner automatically, and a manual investigation is required. To do this, we send your application details directly to the GeniusCash partner when you open a ticket with us. There are various things that the GeniusCash partner and/or the affiliate network needs to validate such as approval status, that you're a first time card or account holder, that the application was started from our site, etc. Unfortunately, the manual investigation time does depends on the GeniusCash partner and it is outside of our control.
Please keep in mind that each card/account application is reviewed separately based on the specific Terms and Conditions for that offer. We've checked on our end, were able to confirm that GeniusCash for the BMO Ascend World Elite Mastercard offer was sent on 2026-03-18 via Interac.

Our records show that your GeniusCash was sent to your account on March 18, 2026, but it hasn't been deposited yet.
We previously sent instructions on March 19 and again today, March 23, showing how to find your password and deposit your funds. Since you’ve now set up autodeposit, your GeniusCash will be resent during the next round of fulfillment.

Extremely fraudulent and scammy that does not honour original terms and conditions of offers.
Kraken bonus for $200 CAD deposit was changed to USD after the promotion period, then as people complained, they said they don’t know the reason.

No wonder the poster of the deal got banned.
UPDATE (Apr. 7): GeniusCash has resolved and made us whole, so I updated my rating.

Was baited into opening a Kraken…
Was baited into opening a Kraken account for a new account promotion. Terms said buy 200CAD worth of Bitcoin. At the moment of getting my bonus $ from the promo, I am told the terms were originally buy 200USD worth of Bitcoin. This condition was NOWHERE to we found in the original offer. Kraken and Credit Card Genius are modifying terms post-promo launch and are legit scamming customers out of their trust.

This company will lie about offer terms to avoid paying rebates.
During the holidays, I signed up for a $140 offer with Kraken. The offer terms stated that you need to open an account with Kraken and make a $200 trade within 30 days, which I did.
It is now 3 months later and Credit Card Genius rejected my rebate saying that I had to complete a trade of $200 USD. This is a complete lie, I still have a screenshot of the offer terms, and it did not specify a USD requirement.
Stay far, far away from them!! There's way better options out there that CCG.

Awful experience with GeniusCash
I signed up for GeniusCash specifically for a promotion with Kraken. The promotion clearly stated that I had to trade $200 worth of crypto on Kraken to qualify which I did ($200 Canadian). GeniusCash now claims it had to be $200 USD to qualify for the promotion even through it said nothing about USD and this is a Canadian company used by Canadians who transact in Canadian dollars.
