Crafty Camper Electrics Omdömen

Excellent experience using there services to purchase a new fridge freezer for my motorhome kept me informed all through the process even when somethings didn’t go quite to plan I would use again

Recently had my camper van electric system installed by Tommy

We spoke at length on the phone multiple times to make sure the system I was purchasing was right for my needs and any questions I had were answered. The units were ordered quickly and he was able to come and install within a matter of weeks. Very professional and a really nice guy. Great price too. His service comes with a warranty too so if anything goes wrong he is there to help

I would definitely recommend Crafty Campers to anyone looking at converting a campervan

Purchased a replacement fridge. Very prompt and personalised service. Good price included free delivery. Definitely recommend.

used Tommy at Crafty Campers to install the electrics in my van, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service I received.

From the very beginning, Tommy took the time to go through everything with me over the phone and designed a system that was exactly right for what I needed. I know absolutely nothing about electrics, but he explained everything clearly and made the whole process really straightforward.
Excellent service I will be definitely recommending him to people in the van community five stars from me

I used Tommy at Crafty Campers to install the electrics in my van, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service I received.

He arrived exactly when promised and spent the day fitting the complete system. The standard of his work is excellent – everything has been fitted really neatly and professionally, and I’m extremely happy with the finished result.

The price was also very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the workmanship and service.

A genuinely great experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for someone to sort the electrics on your campervan, I’d highly recommend Tommy at Crafty Campers. Thanks again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great price and the owner responded promply when I needed a part on short notice. He also gave me some helpfull advice on the proposed set up for my campervan.

We started our van conversion from scratch, and the electrical system initially seemed completely overwhelming. That all changed when we contacted Crafty Camper Electrics.

Tommy provided us with three different system options, all clearly explained with what we could expect from each setup. The information was concise, easy to understand, and made choosing the right system straightforward. Once we'd made our decision, we booked an installation date.

All of the components were delivered directly to our home ahead of the installation, and Tommy arrived exactly as scheduled. The installation was completed over two days, just as planned.

You can see Tommy takes real pride in his work—the installation is incredibly neat and professional. He also took the time to explain how everything worked in such a simple, easy-to-understand way. Electrical systems usually feel intimidating to me, but Tommy made everything clear and gave me the confidence to use the system.

From start to finish, the whole process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Crafty Camper Electrics to anyone looking for a high-quality campervan electrical installation.

Worked with Tommy to find a solution that was just right for our campervan. We had an old set up in our mercedes sprinter that just wasn't working for us and Tommy helped to design uo a perfect set up.
The fit and instalation was booked in quickly and the work was carried out to a really high standard.
Even in the hottest weeks on record, Tommy grafted to get us up and running.
Would really recommend him

Tom is a good hard working bloke. Took him a couple of days to complete my off grid system. All working and done nice and tidy. He’s also been excellent after with any help I need with anything he gets back to me straight away.

I can not thank Tommy enough the effort he puts in to meet your needs is by far 100% all the time, he fitted a full off grid set up and it’s absolutely bang on, and then the aftercare he is just an all round top bloke and crafty campers is a superb company. From start to finish I can’t thank you enough.

Explained to Tommy what I needed, he designed, ordered and installed the system for me. Very pleased with the work he done looks great. Thank you.

I bought a campervan and wanted to add off grid resilience without major physical changes. The existing leisure battery was a 105Ah AGM. I wanted to replace this with a LiFePO4. Fogstar offer a 172Ah battery with the same dimensions as the AGM. It is an expensive battery for the capacity but physically is a direct replacement and over 3 times the usable capacity. I noticed that Craftycamper had the battery on sale and bought. Initially I did not get tracking information and chased by email. I received an acknowledgement from Tommy. Another day or so went by and I chased again. Tommy again responded quickly and immediately sorted the delivery out (from Fogstar) by paying extra for a priority courier service. I have other bits to buy and will not hesitate to buy from Craftycamper again.

Ordered 27th July, its now 3rd September and I still haven't received my order. Was told that the item is in stock but have been too busy to send it. I think this company is probably a scam. Avoid

I e-mailed asking a question about a part for my Fiat Ducato Campervan that was listed on their website as I wanted to check compatibility prior to ordering and they simply don’t reply if it’s not a super quick fix. Sent a follow up and again no response - would never try to use again!

BEWARE - THIS MAY BE A FRAUD SITE

I have ordered two parts from this site which have not been despatched. It is now over 2 weeks since my order, and none of my communications have been responded to.

I waited 2 weeks to write this review, incase this is a sole trader who has been on holiday

My money is probably lost as each part as <£100, so:

1) I cannot get a refund from my credit card
2) the site provides no contact or company details - so I can not take any legal action.

I note the positive reviews, but question whether these are real, or created to lure people into a fraudulent site.

After a bit of discussion, Thomas helped me change the package to suit my off-grid needs. The work he did was professional, and I’m really happy with the new system. Can’t wait to get on the road soon! Thanks, Thomas Highly Recommended

After a bit of confusion crafty camper managed to get in contact and provide order update - much appreciated

Issue with fedex courier, however crafty camper dealt with this professionally and without any hassle to my self

Good price for the product - "steady legs". Good service and communication. I was concerned when the box arrived as it had a hole in it from where the handle had punctured the cardboard. On opening I found the plastic bag containing all the nuts, bolts and washers was empty and they were all scattered around the box. I had to search under all the flaps etc but fortunately found them all. Perhaps they should be transported in a small cardboard box in the main box?

I've purchased a few items from them, each time its been a great experience. No complications, just simple old fashioned 'good customer service'. Crafty Campers are a real joy to deal with.
