The whisky that we received was great and the snack were very tasty but the deliver service that was used for my area, Mercury Service, was absolutely awful. Firstly, I was unable to track the package before hand so I had no idea when it would arrive. Every time I attempted to click the tracking information from my email it wouldn't give me any information or tell me who the carrier was. They showed up to my house at 11a on a Friday while I was at work and left a note giving me instructions to call to reschedule a delivery. I called the number on the note and the customer service person tells me that I am to go online and fill out a notice and request for a call to set up another delivery (?!). They would not help me set up a delivery even though I was already on the phone with them, not to mention there was no indication of this process on the note the delivery driver had left me. I go online and complete the form and ask for someone to reach out to me. No one contacts me for over a week. I call them back, they tell me to submit another ticket through the online system because "with the holidays the managers are very distracted at the facilities". I ask if I could just set something up over the phone and they said it has to be done online. I fill out another form. No response for another couple of days. I call again and get a rep from the Dayton office who was doing her best to get us in touch with our local office but during the transfer of the call the line went dead. I had almost completely given up on ever receiving my shipment. One day I happened to be outside helping my neighbor with something and then a van shows up and a guys walks over to me with a package and that's how they delivered my package. No call before hand, nothing. It was a completely frustrating and their customer service is completely awful. My wife bought this for me as a Christmas present for the next 3 months but based on the delivery service we will likely not be re-subscribing our subscription.

The whisky was outstanding. The delivery took a little while longer than expected.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. He loved it and opened it right away to taste. I liked the snack accompaniment. He preferred to enjoy it neat.

Love the subscription, upgraded and renewed for another yr. Love seeing the treat in the package and tasting new whiskey. Great gift for the person that has everything and makes a statement!

Face it, men are hard to buy for. My brother is a whiskey lover and I needed an impressive fun gift for him. Craft Whiskey Club was a perfect option.

I made a purchase for a birthday gift. Approximately seven days later I emailed inquiring the status of the order. I was informed that it was in the process of being shipped. When the gift still had not been received for another two weeks, I emailed and received no response. I sent another email a few days later requesting a response to my prior email and to the status of the order. Again, I received nothing. I then contacted my credit card and had the charge removed. It was at that time I received an email that they were disappointed that I had had the charge removed from my account. I received an email three days later saying that the product had been shipped. I ignored that email as the order had been canceled. Approximately one week later I received another email indicating that the product had been shipped to the recipient. Ultimately, I was not charged and the product was never shipped. Perhaps some internal examination of your processes is in order.

Came fast and looks nice. It is a gift for my husband so we will see once he opened it.

I’ve only recently joined the club but so far so good. Very quick to respond to my queries and when I received my first bottle it was a joy. It was nicely packaged and inside was a a lovely bottle and some extras. Well worth joining.

I was delighted with the bottles I received. The options were new to me (in one case the distillery was one I was familiar with but the bottle I received was a variety I had never tried before.) The snacks are a nice bonus.

I gave this subscription as a gift the cocktail afficionado in my house. It was an excellent gift choice!

We received our last shipment today. It was very disappointing because we received the same box as the last shipment two months ago. I have emailed and am hoping it can be replaced with something new.

The whisky part is fine, although there's not much value for money in real terms. The problem with the company is the admin and customer service.

I was subscribed to one bottle every 2 months for some time and on 3 occasions they just forgot to send my bottle. It was only after a reminder email that they would rush it out on an express delivery. This ultimately lead to me cancelling my account, but this is easier said than done. There is no button on the online account to unsubscribe, you have to send an email.

In my case I received a reply to let me know my account was closed, but the following month they still took another payment. I emailed to ask them to refund the money and to cancel my account. It has now been 3 weeks since that email and I've sent 2 further emails to chase my refund and the account closure with no reply. Then I get an automated email today to let me know that they couldn't take the latest payment! Fortunately, my credit card details have recently changed so they can't take any more of my money, but honestly I would steer well clear of a business that has so little regard for their customers or customer service in general. They owe me money and that's really not on.

I have received two boxes thus far. My opinions are:

First box was not a win (Koval Millet). The whisky is way, way too sweet/syrupy tasting. I honestly gave the bottle away. The matcha popcorn also was not a hit. The mini-flask was cool.

Second box was the Oshiki and the whisky is really nice and I love that it is something I wouldn't have found otherwise. The chocolate was good.

So the 3 stars is based on a 1 star for first box and a 4 star on the last one. I would honestly consider a 4 star rating in spite of it if the food pairings were more robust. I aa generally underwhelmed by the limited nature. Was hoping a bit more to it. I do love the tasting notes and the back story that is provided.

Ask me again after my next two boxes.

The whiskey and other items delivered are always unique, high quality and add serious clout to a whiskey collection. Well worth the investment.

The one time I had an issue, due to the delivery firm used and not them as a business, they were courteous, efficient and quick to resolve.

Thus far, they have been faultless.

Amazing! I bought a subscription for my brothers birthday and stupidly put my own address down instead of his for delivery. I email craft whiskey and was helped straight away by Euan. Could not have done more for me and was so quick in responding. Also my brother loved his box and is looking forward to the others. Highly recommend. Great service!!

Lovely Whiskey, but didn't really think the glass was up to much, lightweight and a little cheap

I purchased this subscription for my husband for our wedding anniversary, and it was a hit. He looks forward to his box every other month. The whisky selections are unique and not once has he received a bottle and been disappointed. He loves the club and the service is fantastic. I highly recommend Craft Whisky Club. Thank you!!!
