I am sorry that UK Customs has asked you to pay customs duties.
Under the Brexit deal between the UK and the EU, parcels under £135 are not covered by customs duties.
Unfortunately we have been informed that some (very few) customers are being asked to pay fees for orders below this value, as in your case.
Customs decisions are not our responsibility and we do not have any influence on the decision they do, regarding the payment of fees and/or taxes. However, the recipient of the order can always make a complaint to customs requesting a refund of fees and taxes that were unduly charged.
Once again I regret the situation of charging fees.

Watch out - if your TOTAL order comes to above £135 you will be caught out with a £40+ import tax bill. So it's not really worth it (or the wait). This is not clear.

I paid extra for an express delivery…
I paid extra for an express delivery which was supposed to be done within 2-5 days, but not only did they not deliver the product on time, but they emailed me 3 weeks later saying “there was a problem with your address” and reimbursed me 50 dollars of the 75 dollars that I had originally paid. Just pay attention to the sheer number of red flags.
Horrible experience. I do not recommend ordering anything from this place.

Thank you for sharing this information. Our website states that any customs fees and/or charges that may be applicable in the country of destination of the order are excluded from the shipping costs and are not our responsibility.
When the recipient refuses to pay and consequently refuses to continue shipping, we only refund the value of the items purchased. Shipping costs are not refunded, as shipping has already been done.

Unexpected custom fees
I placed an order from the UK with cosmetic2go based in Portugal. The order arrived... Followed a few days later by an additional invoice from FedEx for $55! I contacted their customer service to be told, yes customs duty is your problem. They didn't tell me my order would incur an additional $55...never when I have ordered anything from China, Germany or anywhere in Europe have I paid any fees, never mind this level! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
