Awful service

Awful service, waited over a week for my sons easter present and its still not even been dispatched on the 5th of April, had to ask for a refund with a very upset little boy!!!
They also lie when they get a bad review.

Thankyou for your review. I have had the opportunity to look into this matter and review all communications.

I regret your dissatisfaction, but it’s important to address the facts. Your order was placed after business hours on Thursday, March 28th, just before the Good Friday (29th March) and Easter Monday (1st April) bank holidays, during which both our facility and our couriers were closed.

Despite our clear communication that dispatch before Easter was not possible, you repeatedly demanded next-day delivery. Whilst we regularly go above and beyond for our customers, we cannot dispatch products during bank holidays when our facility and our shipping partners are closed for business.

When it became clear that your demands were not being met, you opened a dispute for a refund while still insisting on receiving the product. This behaviour is not only unreasonable but it is also dishonest.

Given the above circumstances, we issued a refund and it appears that your response to this was to leave this retaliatory review.

Whilst I always hope to welcome back an unhappy customer and turn a negative experience into a positive one, it seems that our services may not align with your expectations. Therefore, I would politely recommend considering other retailers for your future purchases.

Unfortunately cannot leave less than 1 star. Ordered a ps3 for my children as theirs was unrepairable... after 3 days of no contact except an email thanking me for my order I emailed asking for a delivery date to be told it was going to be dispatched by the end of the week. Emailed today to ask for an update then received a refund email from clearpay. Nothing from the company themselves. Absolute joke of a company ... ran by cowboys ! AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!

Very good experience

Purchased a preowned PS5 Digital Edition. Arrived two days later. When I opened it it was virtually new. Very pleased with the service. Will use again.

One as can’t rate as a zero

One as can’t rate as a zero . Ordered at 8:13 on Friday morning , phoned up today to be told it will be dispatched in three to five days . At 7:16 tonight gets a refund message from Clearpay nothing at all from Console Central what an absolute waste of time and what a shambles of a company

I have just looked into this order. I can see this was auto-cancelled by our system as it attracted a fraud score on our system above our threshold for processing.

We take fraud prevention very seriously to ensure the safety and security of our customers. The order placed was under a different name, which triggered our security protocols. As a precaution, we had to cancel the order to allow you to re-place it using the correct details. This is a measure we take to protect both our customers and our business from potential fraud.

I regret that, whilst you (as outlined) received the Clearpay refund confirmation, that you did not receive a written explanation from us. This was an oversight and one I apologise for.

I would welcome the opportunity to turn your negative experience into a positive one. If you have a future requirement for our services, please reach out to me directly, and i’ll ensure everything goes smoothly.

Make it make sense people it’s EXTORTION

A friend of mine ordered a console from these guys via Clearpay website so you’d think they’re legit? No, 2 months on still not received anything I think he’s gave up now even bothering.

The prices are extortionate anyway they want nearly £100 for an XBOX 360 E, or 360 S, please go on Facebook marketplace and pick one up for literally £15 or Cashconverters for the same. I also see on their website an XBOX ONE X, NOT SERIES X, OLD GENERATION ONE X for £200?!!!!! Please people use your heads and shop elsewhere these companies think because people are shopping on clearpay they can extort you. Typical UK business id say.

When you purchase from Console Central UK, you are investing in products that have been meticulously checked and meet our extremely high standards. We are committed to quality, which is why we reject more incoming stock than we keep, ensuring that only the best items reach our customers. Additionally, all our products come with a comprehensive warranty, offering peace of mind and added value.

While you may find cheaper options on platforms like Facebook Marketplace or in pawn shops, these products are often incomparable to the ones we sell. They typically do not come with the same level of care, quality assurance, or warranty that we provide. Our customers return to us repeatedly because of their positive experiences and the reliability of our products. In fact, our returns rate for defective items is less than 0.05% of the products we sell—a level of quality you are highly unlikely to find with the alternatives you mentioned.

We often see consoles that were purchased from Facebook Marketplace in our repair facility, as many of these devices are sold with latent or intermittent faults that eventually require significant repairs. Almost all customers in this situation express regret that they didn’t purchase from a reputable business like ours. While cheaper alternatives are available, they come with an elevated level of risk and it is irresponsible not to highlight this when guiding readers to cheaper options.

No response to messages after order placed

Placed a order for a ps vita 2000 on the 17/05/2023
Messaged for a update got one saying my parcel will be with me on the 26/05/2023. Which is fine.
No parcel turned up, so I messaged for a update and no replies from the company since.
I've tried calling, messaging ( Facebook and other contact methods on their website).
Slow responses if you get any at all.
Avoid.
