I had a great experience with Ahmad Zahid, Protection Development Expert. He kept me up to date throughout all the proceedings and always called at the agreed time, which I really appreciated. He was very informative and took the time to explain the various insurance options available, making sure the information was relevant to my needs. He also shared some real gems of knowledge and advice that were genuinely valuable. His professionalism, reliability, and expertise really stood out. I would highly recommend Ahmad to anyone looking for guidance and support with protection and insurance.

Against my better judgement I did an enquiry through U switch and they sent my information to Connect Mortgages. Since then I've had around 6 calls a day from various different mobile numbers, it's felt like harassment. In no way would this activity and behaviour make me want to work with them. It's plain harassment. I'm sorry I ever shared my details so wanted to warm others of what happens if you do as well. It's relentless even though I've emailed to say please stop calling me. You've been warned!

I paid £798 to Sonik Global Solutions Ltd for mortgage advisory services and SPV company setup. Anil Patel, who acts as a broker under the Connect Mortgages network, handled my case.

I provided the requested documents in December 2025 and expected progress with my application. However, after more than three months, I did not receive a mortgage illustration, lender options, or a decision in principle, and the SPV company was not set up.

I followed up multiple times but did not receive a clear outcome, and my request for a refund was refused.

I have since raised a complaint with the compliance team and also proceeded with a Small Claims Court application to recover the payment.

Mortgage application was almost complete and then our mortgage advisor ‘left the business’. We were told another advisor would be in contact with us but nobody has been, this was months ago. I have since sent multiple emails to different email addresses linked to the company and have not had any response. Would not recommend this company. Paid £99 for a service and have not received it.

I applied company BTL mortgage, these people submitted my mortgage as personal BTL, I’m not able to complete my purchase with this offer, have to reapply. This time submitted my application as company BTL repayment, I’ll have to change mortgage offer to interest only again. Also, the admin used my credit card to cover their third party transaction cost, used my credit card to pay £25 without letting me know. The mortgage broker I contacted was non CAS, but jumped out to charge me £699, above normal market price. He has no idea of solicitors separate representation, don’t understand lender turnaround time, all ridiculous

Have been referring business over to Daniel Wilson at Connect Mortgages for the last month, and been struck by how helpful he has been, and professional . Excellent communication, and turnaround time. Received a client mortgage offer within days of the application . Client chuffed to bits. First Time Buyer. Happy days !!

I can’t speak highly enough of the service I received from Aidan and Jay. They kept me fully informed throughout, explained everything clearly, and were quick to respond and resolve any issues. Overall an excellent service.
