We received roofing sheets from them last year very good quality and good service.
Placed another order this year, again for the same type of sheets. This time they were horrendous, badly scratched, and not the same colour as previously.
Emailed on 4 occasions, with pictures.
No reply, phoned many times. No answers on any of their 4 options on the phone. I have contacted Barclaycard, who are taking action. I also intend to involve trading standards. The sheets look cheap and nasty compared to the first order which was very good. We can't use these sheets as the are so badly scratched and will rust because of this. I would be extremely careful ordering from this company.

Where to start….

Late deliveries, lies, unusable items, missing items, unnecessary items, different colour panels, van breakdowns… (still awaiting their rac report), cutback variations from 50 to 100mm, the owner/director won’t ever talk to you, the manager ignores the best he can. I could go on.

Please, whatever you do order from somewhere else! My second barn I used Briarswood and they have been amazing, delivered on time, had an issue with 1 sheet and new one was delivered 2 days later. Fantastic, DO NOT USE COLOURCLAD!

Delivery 3 weeks late - A real shame, friendly on the phone but sadly can't be trusted, shame wanted to support familly owned UK company but as per the many other poor reviews, dates keep changeing. Now minimum of 3 weeks delay. If you need your order on time, don't use this guys. No information or update until you call them. Item is ready but they don't bother to dispatch for what ever reason.

We chose this company as the product was exactly what we wanted at a very competitive price, even with the delivery charges. Unfortunately we had numerous hiccups with failed delivery times and lack of promised phone calls. Luckily we had factored in a long lead time but having to stay in to receive the delivery and then it not appearing was very frustrating. When the delivery finally came the driver, Bear, was very helpful and a great ambassador for the company. We have our roofing sheets and are now very happy.

The worst company I have ever worked with. They make promises, don't answer the phone and cost me a lot of nerves and 5 months of waiting. I only got my money back through a PayPal case. I definitely don't recommend anyone to start with this lying company.

Let down time and again by this company, promising delivery and then being cancelled...also sheets damaged on edges where they had been strapped down.

Wow probably the worst sales lady I have ever spoken to 9.10 am 11/02/26 totally disinterested in selling the company’s products ,we are currently doing two massive barn conversions and wanted a sample of the black fibre cement product before ordering ,and we need to order 1260 sheets !! I asked about the fading of the black she could not give a real answer other than it will fade over the next 100 years.Than proceed to tell me how busy they are and basically they don’t need my business even if it only requires them just sending a small sample.I be honest I’m glad I came on here and see the other reviews and remember in business the sun doesn’t all ways shine.

Categorically the worst company I've ever dealt. Even the tone from sales call to after sales is worlds apart. They want Pro Forma immediately to get your order placed and then promise you a delivery day which, judging by the reviews on google, they always fail to meet. They promise you call backs when you chase to find out what's going on but never do call back. Whether or not you ever get the products i don't know. I've been chasing for a week since the date i had booked in when i paid 20 days ago for a product that's advertised as 5-10 day delivery.

Lots of comments also saying they use the excuse they were under delivered. I would imagine they're just a middle man trying to drop ship roof panels.

Absolute time wasters and of course give you the old chestnut that it's 7 working days for a refund. They'll even tell you that's due to your bank or card issuer but everyone knows that's just not real in 2026.

Avoid this company at all costs. I wish I'd read the reviews before sending them my money!

Officially the worst company I have EVER dealt with.

We placed our first order with Colour clad at the start of October it’s now January and we have finally got the last of our deliveries.

First order went great until they got our money, then we had 3 weeks of delayed delivery’s, all while being messed around and told that the stuff was on the way, meaning we had contractors in ready to fit the sheets with no materials I lost £100s of pounds a day in wages.

Finally the sheets came and they aren’t the best quality but they did the job we needed and for the price we couldn’t complain. I had a follow up email from Sam “The Director” asking about the service and I explained it had been terrible, Sam was really apologetic after several emails back and forth we decided to place a second order with them on Sam’s word this was a one off and he would follow the whole process through for the next order to ensure it all went smoothly !! Huge lie !

Once again all great with the ordering process and then the first promised delivery date came and once again it was missed, no communication, no response from emails to Sam, this was on the 21/11 and I have still now, have not received a single reply from him or the 20/30 phone calls I’ve made and left messages.

Anyone knows Nov/Dec are the busiest time of year for contractors etc so once again I had lads on site with no work. This went on for weeks right up until Christmas when we finally got our first part delivery as I had to call and beg for at least something as I was loosing money on wages but I couldn’t cancel the lads just in case as it would put the project back months, they arrived and were a completely different colour to the first lot we ordered despite the exact same items being ordered.

We had no choice but to use the bits that had been sent as we was now weeks behind schedule, they had closed for Christmas and we had a business to move.

It’s now January and we’ve had 4 separate deliveries of this one order, items arriving wrong, missing items, wrong sizes the list goes on.

This has been nothing but stress, the director if you can call him that can’t stick to his word, everyone in the office just gives you the run around or tells you a complete lie to get you off the phone.

The only people I genuinely need to mention in a positive view is Sarah, who seems to be the only person here who actually cares and finally managed to get our order finalised and the delivery driver who has had to do all these separate deliveries while dealing with the hassle of dropping stuff off to disgruntled customers (of which we are not the only ones).

So if you want the run around for months on end then they might be the company for you but if not I would avoid ! I wish we would have read the reviews before placing our order so I hope this helps someone.

Please also don’t rely on this service email response to these reviews as they are just as bad, they have been copied in on all correspondence and have failed to step in and sort this at any point over the last 2 months.

I requested vented ridge tiles - given a pdf showing the product that was to be delivered - agreed that was what I required for building regs - product did not arrive as described - in fact it was not a vented ridge tile - They said sorry but replacement was not as described in PDF (we had delivered 2 unvented ridge tiles, & 1 alleged vented ridge tile which was not fit for purpose & not as described in pdf) The builder at extra cost had to adapt it to meet building regulations - The delay was causing internal building issues - needed the use of canvas to cover gap at the top of roof - additional cost was required - email sent but inaccurate response - no complaint procedure & no follow up calls or response to my emails with facts showing they were wrong! We spent over £12000 for the new roof & always stated during our correspondence we wanted a vented ridge tile- now small claims court procedure - lucky I have insurance to cover that!! Such a shame because other service for the actual roof was excellent

Rubbish company
I have never seen a company like this before. It’s a disgrace. I have been waiting for the materials for 2.5 months. Exactly 2.5 months. They embarrassed me badly. I suffered a major loss on my project because of them. They kept lying continuously.

For the order I placed on October 1st, they first said it would take 2–4 weeks. Then they said 6 weeks. Later they said December 15th. When I called on December 15th, they said the materials were loaded but there was no forklift. I told them I have a forklift and asked them to send it, and they hung up the phone.

I called many times, and when they finally answered, they said everyone was on vacation and the materials would arrive on January 6th. I went on vacation until January 7th. When I called again on January 6th, they said it would be delayed by another 4 days. I postponed my flight by 4 days and came back.

They still did not send the materials. They said it would arrive in the evening. I waited all evening, no one called, and they did not answer my calls. Today is January 12th, and now they are saying it will arrive on January 19th.

My psychology is completely damaged. I don’t know what to do anymore.

Mark delivered 28 No. 3.6m 40mm insulated roofing panels off a flatbed at 4:15pm in heavy rain (the beginning of Storm Goretti). It was dark, cold and miserable and within 5 minutes we were both wet through as we handed the panels individually off the bed to an exposed storage area. With bravado we both joked that we were used to it from our respective distance running and rugby days. Afterwards I walked 2 mins back home dumped my sodden clothes and jumped in the hot shower. Mark had a 2-3 hour drive back to Devon ahead of him, all after a very early morning start for him. Hat's off to you Mark.

Delivery ok but had requested 24 hours notice but only got 1 hour luckily there was someone here to unload

This is actually a very trustworthy company. They deliver certain areas once they have enough orders to fill a lorry going that way, so delivery times are very dependent on what orders come in.
The quality of the roof panels were far and above what I expected. I have been repairing roofs for over fifty years, and I was blown away at the the strength, rigidity and value of these roofing sheets.
The insulation is sandwiched between two strong steel sheets which makes them fully self supporting.
Because of the long delivery time I was considering cancelling the order, but I am so glad I didn't.
The lorry driver was a diamond for us two old boys on site, and he refused a tip, instead requesting I support a local charity.
Some people just warm your heart.

Placed order on 22nd September and was still waiting for delivery on 22nd December, 3 months! In the end I got so fed up of failed promises and terrible customer service that I contacted my card company to get a full refund. Please do not fall for the lies of this company. They do not have the materials in stock and just tell lies repeatedly. Not sure how they have managed to get 5 star reviews, can only think they are fake, as when you check out the people they have only ever given 5 star reviews???

I placed an order for roof panels 7/12. Unfortunately I read the reviews after I placed the order. No communication whatsoever only one email that the order is confirmed. I rang 2 days after the order to find out estimated delivery date. I was told 16th December or the latest 23rd December. I rand again 15th of December to find out if my order was coming next day,they said definitely will be on the 23rd. In the meantime no update regarding prefer and delivery from the company unless I was chasing it up. I rang 22nd of December (1 day before est delivery) to be told the items are not in stock and the delivery will take place 6th of January. I requested my order to be cancelled and the company rang me back saying they will keep the 10% of the order because I requested the cancellation and they have a 4 weeks window to deliver even though when I ordered the items they were advertising in stock,also if they weren’t in stock why would I be told about delivery 23rd of December in the first place?
Please avoid,read the reviews first before you place any order with them. No communication from the company even when you are ringing them they are saying will call back and never does happen.
In case they say fake profile or whatever is a genuine review and order No #7981.

Items arrived in great condition the member of staff who delivered was a pleasure to deal with and an asset to your company great alround experience thank you will use again in the future thank you

Terrible from the start, placed an order expecting delivery within a 14 day window, from day 14 through to day 47 nothing but excuses as to why we hadn’t had delivery, this is on top of repeated phone calls and expected delivery dates,
Whole experience was the worst I have had in a long time, sleepless nights.

THE PRODUCT IS GOOD BUT IT TOOK 3 MONTHS FOR IT TO ARRIVE NO COMUNICATION FROM THE COMPANY ONLY WHEN I CONTACTED THEM, EVEN THEN NO FOLLOW UP FROM THEM
