Be careful when using Groupon with Colorland
After a once in a lifetime trip to Japan I bought 2x Groupon vouchers for photobooks at Colorland. I invested many days creating these books on the portal, however, a few days before the Groupon Coupons expired I discovered I had created my books on the Wrong Format! Lay-flat instead of Classic. NOWHERE was this specified by the Groupon Voucher or the instructions.
NO, Colorland were unable to export my books to the correct format. So I had to spend 3 solid days recreating the books in the Classic format.
FINALLY the Groupon Coupons were accepted.
The books printed and dispatched.
Colorland did respond to my emails, but suggested that Groupon was to blame - however, someone at Colorland created the Groupon Coupon and left the instructions vague. (in error or on purpose?)
So before you take the same route as I did, check to see which product your Groupon Voucher actually applies to.
When the books finally arrived I was pleased with the quality. But the journey to get them could have been much better.

A great quality product
This the first time I have made a photo book and I know I made lots of errors on the way. However I learned a lot whilst putting it together and the end result was great and I know my next attempt will be even better!

I get an annual photobook done with…
I get an annual photobook done with Colourland and always very happy with it. This time I had the option to collect at my local PO and there was no delivery charge, so that was brilliant.

The web interface to produce the photobook was extremely easy to use. I was also very impressed by the quality of the finished product. This is the second time I have ordered a photobook from Colorland and was not disappointed. Delivery was also very quick

Images POOR..Book Good !!
The Quality of the Book and the paper is a1.
However the quality of the images leaves a lot to be desired !! WAY TOO Dark and no depth of colour ..Really disappointed with that

TO Which I tell you :
Its absolutely NOTHING to do with the quality of the mages I supplied.. Its to do with your Production !
We did a trip to West Coast of USA.. and we required NINE albums so I used THREE different companies .. And like I stated before , yours were the best for the quality of paper HOWEVER yours were the worst for the quality of the Photos !! They lacked the depth of colour, energy and vivaciousness of your competitors.. and yours was the First company that we used , making it the benchmark by which we judged the other two companies .
This has been consensus from the entire Family and friends that have viewed the albums in their entirety.
Seeing as you ALL use the same Generating Software , I felt this was the best way for me to make a decision as to who we use going forward ..
