Top class customer service and loads of choice
Took a faulty kettle back today and Colin Smith’s couldn't have been more helpful. They refunded us straightaway so we could get a new kettle. This is an amazing shop for a relatively small town, much better service than Curry’s in Dundee and you get personal help from the staff.

Excellent Company
We had a delivery to our house of a new rangemaster cooker. Unfortunately, Colin Smith's delivery people damaged a brand new and rather costly Dekton worktop during installation. Colin Smith dealt with the matter very professionally and courteously and within just 3 days fully paid our Contractor for a replacement top and installation charges. This is clearly a superb and highly professional local business and because this sort of incident can happen from time to time, it is well worth buying from an outfit such as this.

Exceptional customer service
I telephoned Colin M Smith on Friday and asked if I could order a washing machine over the phone as I had seen one that I liked on their website. The sales colleague was very helpful and knowledgeable and my new washing machine was delivered installed and the old one taken away on the Tuesday afternoon! It was expertly installed and not one bit of mess or packaging left at my home! Once again the delivery was exceptional and the two guys so friendly and helpful! Definitely shop here again as apart from the excellent service that I received, the prices of the products were reasonable as was the delivery, installation and recycling! Thankyou all so much!

Great experience as normal with someone local. When my tumble dryer stopped working during this recent heavy rain I ordered my new one on line and was delivered first thing Tuesday morning. Great service as always.

Visited this store on 11 December to look for new washine machine. Very helpful staff. One I wanted was in Forfar warehouse and delivered first thing Saturday morning, packaging and old machine uplifted. Great service.

After making an initial phone enquiry, I was guided to a sister store, which stocked what I was looking for, saving me a wasted journey. Expert advice & help with measurements within the store helped me make an informed decision as to which model to buy. It was delivered on time, and care was taken to help me position it correctly. Very pleased with both purchase and service.

The service in the shop was friendly, helpful and clear. Arrangements for the installation were flexible to suit us. The two delivery men who installed the machines were efficient, tidy and pleasant. From start to finish we were delighted.

New cooker purchase
We used to go to Forfar from Dundee to shop at Colin M Smiths. Happily for us they now have a shop in Dundee.
Staff were very knowledgeable about the appliances and very friendly. I prefer to shop local and with smaller retailers. It’s a much better shopping experience in my opinion.
So please support them in their new premises. They are good on price and can’t fault the service. Definitely 5 stars from us. ⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A very welcoming and local place to shop! Plenty of choice in kitchen appliances and other household items and a well setup tv display. Recently purchased a Rangemaster cooker and Tv. Very impressed! Great staff too…

Superb service
I wouldn’t buy electrical goods from any other firm. The prices are good- occasionally higher than the big chain stores- but that is always offset by the customer service. The installation service is second to none. Absolutely first class.
