Don't really know why we have to use this app! I cannot award my child any extra points without doing the 7 day free trial and it requiring my bank details, then having to pay monthly there after! No thank you. Complete waste of time sorry to say.

Extremely hard to cancel & get a refund

Almost sure this is major misrepresentation or even consumer fraud.

And their service is tortuous and poor except through emails sent after submitting feedback only on their app.

It's all designed to make it extremely hard to cancel or get any money back!!

I tried so long and hard to log in my account after 2 years. I had some girls waiting for me and this stupid game kept rejecting me. Why is it whenever i press my email it keeps bringing me into this weird loop? The game it’s self it pretty fun but why is it rocket science just to log back in?

Do not subscribe!!! I WANT my refund ASAP- disgrace that this is connected to schools and education!

Hired tutor Mr. Ernel who my grandson seems satisfied with but when it appeared the 2nd session was automatically scheduled, i ignored it and changed the day from Tuesday to Thursday. Then, I asked the tutor not to pre-schedule the session. He said he did not, but would speak to Customer Service about the error. Its Monday after 9pm and again a tutor session is scheduled for Tuesday. Since no telephone # is provided, i complained again to tutor that another unauthorized session was scheduled, thst I wasn’t going to pay. While typing in the chat, a messsge popped up saying no refund, but rescheduling is available. I explained the session was unauthorized, but i was ignored and asked again if I wanted to reschedule. My grandson is generally with me on Thursday. I explained someone is automatically scheduling sessions for Tuesday without firdt checking either me. I cancelled the session, notified my bank and am preparing a letter yo his school. I am really disappointed b/c it feels like a scam even tho there is no other indications of that.

Scam app with predatory dark patterns and zero educational value!

They exploit school platforms to trick young children and parents into buying their useless "Dojo Sparks" game for £59.99. The app's design is completely counter-intuitive and toxic for kids struggling with phonics. Instead of scaffolding and teaching, it traps children on unknown words (like "FAN"), forcing them to swipe endlessly without guidance. It literally brought my child to tears and caused severe emotional distress. If my child already knew how to read "FAN", why would I ever buy your garbage app? Total scam, predatory marketing, and repulsive digital trash. Avoid at all costs!

Child’s school uses ClassDojo to send info to parents. You used to be able to just view those messages on a website, but now we are FORCED to use their App, along with the huge amount of data collection and tracking that they do. Why does ClassDojo require detailed location tracking for me?

As they are USA based, they are untrustworthy by default.

I wish I could put no stars. The amount of ads they push is crazy, the notification from email alone is enough to drive you mad, and why do they need to track our children behavior again? i really don't like that anyone can attach other people to classrooms that aren't parents/guardians. I'm not comfortable with just anyone seeing picture of my child or their information. I also attempted to use the web browser on my phone, but was completely blocked and required to download the app. My phone is so old, I simply can not download it. I understand that isn't everyone's problem, but the point is they want you to download the app to market to you more aggressively.

I've never thought to go into trust pilot to write a review over my hatred for the classdojo app until today. I've never been thrilled with classdojo but it worked. It did until this year. I had accepted my daughter's invitation from her teacher. I had even talked to him on it nearly two weeks ago. Then all of the sudden out of nowhere, when I logged in Friday all I saw was my daughter's preschool teacher's stuff from six years ago. I had a hard time finding a help section to fill a ticket out for help. I did this Friday and still haven't heard anything back. When I get any notification from then it's just ads to upgrade all of the time. Why would I pay this app money when it doesn't work on the free subscription? Worst app ever and I am just going to tell my daughters teacher that if she needs anything from me to email me or call me.

Keep getting asked by the school to set it up. Don't need another pointless app but won't allow me to just use the website page. Load of rubbish avoid

Terrible app. Every parent can add absolutely anyone they want to the app to have access to all the info teachers are posting. I thought we were in the era of limiting online access to children! Highly disappointing and completely tone-def response from the company.

Terrible app full of ads from ClassDojo itself - I don’t want your tutoring, behavior management system, or Roblox knock-off. Stop giving me pop ups and sponsored posts. You know what I do want? Notifications from my kids’ teachers. Am I giving you a monthly fee for that? Absolutely not. I hate this app so much I delete it the moment school’s out every year. This company has no shame.

Cannot get onto it. Login with google just hangs. Login without password works but just brings up an "install our app" page with no way to skip. I AM NEVER INSTALLING YOUR APP. Give me the web browser exp i can use on mobile.

I was a good kid i got bullied in school because of that i was smart and did not break rules (from what they know of) and always i got 0 points for getting good grades but the bullies had so low standards that for not bullying during breaks they woukd get a point very unfair system

Not as terrible as some seem to imply, but the worst thing that drives me mad is as soon as there is any kind of message you get a little number on the Apps icon, which sounds handy, except it never goes away, you can go through every screen, read every message and it will still be there, after a while you end up with it showing 5 or 6 "unread" items, then you have no idea if there is or is not something new and may miss something important, ot you need to log in regulary and click through all the screens to see if you have missed something.

The only "fix" is to reboot your phone, there is no "help" or "contact us" options for the app so your kinda stuck, I tried re-installing to no avail.

Amazing website but it seems every couple of months now the monthly subscription plus is going up. I went from paying $6.99 to $9.99 within 2yrs

I could give it negative stars if I could. The pre-k teacher had us download class dojo. After a year, they charged us $75!! And I went to the school to see if they were still using it. They said that they stopped using it because it charged people after a year. I wished they would of told us parents this but they didn't know this at first. I was advised to cancel the subscription, which I did, got refunded by the bank and these people went ahead and charged the account again!! They are nothing but thieves who are after your money, they'll take your money, refuse to refund and disappear. Someone needs to take them to court, seriously, beware of these thieves, stay away as much as possible
