Clarks - Didcot Omdömen 85

Had to visit my local Clarks after the Oxford branch disappointed with service and selection. Fortunately Darcey and the team in Didcot got me exactly what I wanted and helped me make a decision with involved, considered feedback on the shoes. Great service.

We had a great experience at Clarks in Didcot this week. My little girl, 3, is shy and has sensory issues so I expected shoe shopping to be a difficult experience. A massive thank you to Darcy who was incredibly kind and patient with my daughter, helping her get comfortable to try on shoes and get measured and never once rushing her when she was struggling to explain which shoes felt right. Her kindess and patience really made a massive difference as my daughter can get incredibly overwhelmed if she feels pressured. Instead she left super calm and happy with her new shoes! Thank you again Darcy.

I recently visited the Clarks store and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. Primarily due to the interaction I had with the store manager, Adam. From the moment I approached him for assistance, he seemed dismissive and uninterested in helping. When I asked a few questions about product availability and sizing, his responses felt rushed and unhelpful, as if I was inconveniencing him. What made the experience particularly frustrating was the lack of basic courtesy. Rather than offering guidance or alternatives, he appeared impatient and made the interaction uncomfortable. As a customer, I expect at least a minimum level of professionalism, especially from a store manager. I left the store feeling unheard and undervalued, which is very disappointing.I hope Clarks takes steps to improve , because encounters like this can easily turn loyal customers such as myself away.

The shoes are excellent. But your stores carry no stock. I’m a size 12 (UK). Your Oxford store had none in anything resembling the brogue style I wanted. I had to go to Didcot to try an 11 in the style I wanted. Then I had to order a 12 online. Can’t you make it easier for us with big feet?

Very friendly atmosphere and professional help from Kathrine in Didcot shop which we have long standing relationship with and the best shop to visit.

Wanted to say a massive thank you to Katherine the manager at the Didcot store, she was incredibly helpful and supportive in exchanging two pairs of shoes/trainers that we purchased for our daughter, where over a short period of time her feet size had increased. It was a seamless and pleasant experience. Thank you so much. We will be in to collect another pair of purchased boots this week.!

The manager of the store was very rude and not friendly at all I over heard some of her staff talking to her and I believe she’s called Catherine. She also spoke to her staff in an awful way infront of many customers I was shocked. It didn’t make me want to buy my child her school shoes so I left and went else where such a shame I won’t be returning.

Booked online and was seen to on time. Very efficient! Harry was very good with the boys, helped size them up and was patient with them. Would recommend booking online beforehand!

Went to Clarks to kit the kids out for school shoes and Kayleigh sorted us out with the most perfect fitting shoes for the girls and she was so helpful and went out her way to find the perfect fit, super happy!

Courtney at Clark’s Didcot was incredible helping us with our daughter’s first school shoes. She was so professional and kind and gave us really helpful advice. Her manager was lovely to and greeted us as soon as we entered the store.

Also made sure the prices were correct which they wasn't as the sale prices had kicked in so got a bargain for two pairs!

I visited Clark’s today to buy shoes, but the staff were incredibly unfriendly. Katherine, in particular, was snobbish and seemed to believe she was above working there. It’s disappointing to see such rudeness and unprofessionalism from someone who works there! If I can give no star that’s what she would get !

Thank you so much to Courtney for being so polite, friendly, and helpful. She was fantastic when she helped us pick shoes for our son. She was patient and friendly with him, even though there were many other customers needing assistance. She managed to serve everyone while picking the right shoes for our son. I had to ask if she was working alone because I didn’t see anyone else helping her. Courtney did an amazing job! She’s a great asset to Clark’s Didcot. You need to hire more staff like her. We’ll definitely be back.

Tatiana at Didcot Clarke's is fantastic. She's helped us fitting my daughters first shoes and she's always so happy and welcoming. My daughter loves her too. Great customer service and asset to Clarke's Didcot.

I was served by the most helpful sales assistant in Clarks yesterday. She helped me with a pair of shoes for my son and was incredibly kind and Smiley! She was so sweet and made my day! Her name was Tatiana and I hope I get served by her next time I’m in!

Tatiana was so helpful finding suitable trainers for my elderly bunioned feet! I warned her that it was very unlikely she’d be able to fit me, but she found a number of styles for me to try, and was very kind and patient. And lo and behold I now have trainers for my walking activities. Thank you, Tatiana.
