Clarks - Bracknell Omdömen 51

Atrocious experience today at this Clarks Bracknell store. The store manager Jane has single handedly tarnished the long standing name of Clarks, with her utter refusal to positively engage in discussion around what reasonable wear on a shoe is classed as. Apparently my son wearing g his school shoes for 57 school days, and wearing holes in the heal is reasonable in her mind. Total refusal to acknowledge that the soles of the Clarks shoes have been made to a poor standard to not even last 3 full months since being bought. She even suggested that my son obviously does not walk normally as the wear pattern on the shoes was "not normal". So how is wear on a heal not normal??? Where else does a shoe sole wear out if not on the heal and front ball area? The manager then refused to explain what reasonable wear for 2.5 months (57 school days of wear to be exact!) should look like, and walked away, leaving her young colleague to have to apologise! Terrible.

Order placed 30.10, email to confirm item has been shipped 04.11 to store. Called customer services 13.11 as still not received email to confirm item has been delivered. They tried calling the store 3 times but couldn't get through, not heard back from them since. Tried calling the store twice on 14.11 but answer. Have no idea where my order is

Sue at the Bracknell Berkshire Store is absolutely amazing!!! she was not able to help me with my son's shoes but went above and beyond to ensure the correct shoe type and fit was choosen. Her kindness and positive nature really made me feel welcome and happy to be a customer. Well done Sue and God bless you xxx

Went to clarks in Bracknell. The boy that measured my sons feet was very untrained. He then couldn't find a shoe in the size he told me, so said he had brought out a size smaller. Ridiculous. Went else where to get it sorted. You need to train these college kids on how to do it properly. Half of them didn't no what was going on. Really poor service

I have used Clarks for my sons school shoes since he started school, he is 10 now and me and my brother always had Clarks so customers for around 35 years. I must say this year and last year the service has been lacking.

Both years I have ordered the shoes on the Clarks website and received no notification that they had arrived in store to pick up. If I did not track on the UPS website I would of had no idea they arrived.
When I tracked my order on the UPS website it said the shoes had been at the store for 6 days already

When I went to the store to collect the assistant seemed unconcerned just said "oh we wouldnt of sent them back to the warehouse yet anyway"

Very dissapointing considering Clarks shoes are not the cheapest

Today I remembered why the high street is so important. As we prepare for my daughter’s first year of primary school we, like so many other parents, looked to Clarks. I am so pleased we did. We visited the Bracknell branch and was immediately welcomed by the manager who identified our intent from our first steps and ensured that we were attended to by our customer service assistant Grace. Grace was awesome! Knowledgeable, helpful and patient. In no time we had navigated the foot measurements and were escorted through the right ranges and sizes. Grace comforted and reassured my nervous daughter and made such fun of the traditional shoe chat “check your toes” and “make you run faster”. Because of the service we got my daughter will remember getting her first school shoes from Clarks in the same way I and my wife do ( in the 80s).
The exceptional service and experience reminded me of why Clarks survives and why the high street is so important.

I visited today with my 8 year old son Jacob. Needless to say it was quite busy, but well worth the wait. We were lucky to be served by Jane the store manager and Jo the area manager. I think it’s safe to say there is not much they don’t know about shoes. They were both super helpful and in the blink of an eye Jacob had a cracking new pair of school shoes, and it was not anywhere near the traumatic experience I was expecting. Great selection, great shoes, great value and amazing customer service. Thank you 5 Stars

Went to get school shoes for my kids today and the guys working in there were doing an absolutely brilliant job. Really busy but still very patient and great customer service.

Jane could see I was struggling with my three kids in a busy shop and she took over and sorted us out in a matter of minutes - all kitted out and she even let me take my youngest off to the loo when she was measuring up my eldest. Superb service.

Really helpful, knowledgeable and friendly service from Bracknell manager.

Jane at the Bracknell store was absolutely amazing with our 11 month old. Friendly, polite and incredibly helpful, she found the perfect shoes for her. We felt in very safe hands as she checked the fit of the shoes thoroughly. I would recommend her without hesitation.
