What a great firm, thank CTI for the great support

So far, I am satisfied with the service, and their support system is excellent and responds to all requests as quickly as possible.

Pass evaluation but to get verification is hard, I send id 3 times everything legal and they still refusing because some issue from they side, other companies never make this kind of problems, always do that in 3 minutes only here is different. Just lost of time

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with City Traders Imperium (CTI).

My account was suddenly closed with an accusation of “copy trading,” yet CTI failed to provide any concrete or verifiable evidence to support this claim.

What CTI considers “evidence” was merely a simple trade comparison table showing similar trades.
No signal source was identified.
No master account was identified.
No copier mechanism or technical linkage was demonstrated.

Trade similarity alone is not proof of copy trading. Any automated strategy reacting to the same market conditions can produce similar trades. Correlation is not causation.

What makes this situation worse is the way CTI handled the process:

The reasons for investigation kept changing (EA source code, VPS access, then copy trading).

My account was closed while communication was still ongoing.

I was never given a fair opportunity to review or rebut the so-called evidence.

CTI refused to explain their methodology, hiding behind vague “internal systems.”

CTI markets itself as a company that “supports traders” and “values fairness,” but my experience shows the opposite. They create the rules, interpret them unilaterally, and enforce them without transparency or due process.

From a customer’s perspective, this feels arbitrary and predatory.

I am posting this review to warn other traders:
If a dispute arises, do not expect transparency, evidence, or a fair review process.

Thank you for your response. However, your reply still avoids addressing the core issues and misrepresents the actual sequence of events.

I would like to clearly clarify the facts:

1. At the beginning, this was presented as a “routine compliance review.”
You did NOT inform me that my account was suspected of copy trading.
Despite this, you immediately demanded:

EA source code

VPS login credentials (IP, username, password)

For security and intellectual property reasons, I reasonably refused to provide source code and direct VPS access.
However, I fully cooperated by providing:

EA parameter and configuration screenshots

Full-screen screenshots of the EA running on MT5

VPS invoice and service screenshots

I also clearly stated that I was willing to:

Record a full video showing the EA running on my VPS, or

Join a live video call where you could inspect the VPS environment under my supervision, with me operating the system

All of these reasonable verification options were rejected by CTI.

2. My account was closed before any clear accusation of copy trading was communicated.
Despite my repeated questions, CTI closed my account abruptly and unilaterally, without first stating that copy trading was the issue.

Only after the account was closed did CTI inform me that the reason was alleged copy trading.

This means:

I was never warned in advance

I was never given a fair opportunity to respond

I was never allowed to compare my own trading records with your claims before termination

This is not a transparent or fair compliance process.

3. Regarding the claim that my account copied account 2285003:
I was never informed of this specific allegation during the initial investigation.
Naturally, I am also questioning why two accounts would show similar behavior.

That is precisely why I offered:

Live or recorded VPS inspection

Supervised verification of my EA logic and execution

I am still willing to demonstrate, under controlled and supervised conditions, how my EA operates independently.

However, granting unrestricted VPS credentials to a third party is a serious security risk and is not a reasonable demand.

Your response continues to rely on trade similarity, while ignoring:

the lack of prior disclosure,

the refusal to accept reasonable verification methods,

and the fact that the account was closed before proper clarification.

I am posting this clarification so that other traders can understand how CTI handles investigations:

sudden demands,

refusal of alternative verification,

and account closure before transparent communication.

I just started with City Traders Imperium, so my experience is still early. The onboarding process has been smooth so far, and the platform and rules are clearly laid out. Support responses have been decent, and everything seems professional up to this point.

That said, I prefer to give a more complete review after I receive my first payout, as that’s the most important part of any prop firm experience. I’ll update this review once I’ve gone through that process.

I am outraged!!!!
I have been trading my 50k account for the past 4 months during which i have make 15.42% profit on that account. Few days ago i requested my monthly payout and now i got the email which says that my account does not meet their current requirements for continued service and that my account is permanently terminated!!! And also i am permitted to make any future purchases or open new accounts with City Traders Imperium!!! I cannot believe this is happening. When they realise you are a profitable trader they just shut you down without any reason. My advise, DO NOT BUT CHALLENGE WITH CTI, THEY ARE LIARS!!

Well I bought a few challenge accounts around Christmas time. I had done a bit of research on CTI, and decided to take a chance with them. I must say so far, I am very pleased with my experience. I passed the 10k challenge, & then they had to check my account to make sure I followed all the rules. I had accidentally put a few trades on for 0.40 and 0.50, but I should have typed 0.04 & 0.05, as you must had the extra zero on CTI platform. I realized that afterwards. Anyway CTI flagged those 2 trades, and emailed me about them. I explained the mistake I made, and they came back to me, acknowledging that I made a genuine mistake. They knew as they could see from my trades, that I was use risk on that a/c, but I was thinking at least they are honest and fair. Their rules are easy to follow and understand. Unfortunately I failed that live 10k accounts, was my own fault, as I had one bad trading day. Now I passed the 25K one, so I hope this goes better, but glad I found CTI. I haven’t received any payouts yet, as I haven’t qualified for one, but from what I see, I think CTI will definitely pay traders who qualify for one, and follow all the rules. They appear to be a genuine trading prop firm, and I’ve also received encouraging emails from them about my trading journey.

What made my experience great was how helpful this company, the service they give is very fast and effective. They wont let you have any doubts and always are very polite. 10/10

City traders imperium is one among the best propfirm out there with quick response support and a quick payout

I had a very disappointing experience with City Traders Imperium.
After spending nearly two months trading with discipline and generating a $205 profit, my payout was terminated due to an alleged VPN violation — despite the fact that no trades were executed under a VPN connection.
The issue arose because I trade on Android, where in my region CTI’s server does not even appear without connectivity adjustments. Any VPN usage was strictly for non-trading, personal purposes, and during the detected instances there were only brief logins with no trade execution, modification, or management. This was also confirmed by their own logs (login/logout only).
What is most frustrating is that:
I was transparent from the beginning
I had previously disclosed this issue
A prior payout was approved under the same circumstances
Yet this time, the payout was denied based purely on technical footprint, with no consideration of intent or actual trading activity
CTI applies a zero-tolerance, device-level policy, meaning even if MT5 is opened briefly and no trades are placed, it can still be considered a violation. This nuance is not clearly understood by many traders, especially those using mobile devices.
While the support team remained polite, the final decision was inflexible, and the payout was cancelled despite the relatively small amount involved. For a firm that markets itself as trader-focused and professional, this felt unfair and disproportionate.
I am sharing this review so other traders — especially mobile/Android users — are fully aware of the risks.
Trade carefully, use a separate device, and assume that any VPN detection, even without trading, can cost you your payout.

City Traders Imperium is definitely a top notch prop firm. Their rules are very clear, transparent, and easy to understand, which makes trading with confidence much easier. What really stands out to me is their customer service. It is responsive, supportive, and genuinely encouraging.

City Traders Imperium is a good firm until you start making money consistently. I've had several payouts as a swing trader, which the premise of swing trading is to trade with the trend. I obviously was doing that too good as City decided not to pay me on my last payout request of $2500. They accused me of "One Sided Bets", which is ridiculous and an excuse to get rid of a trader that keeps getting payouts. Why would I go short if the trend is long to avoid the so called "One Sided Bets". It makes no sense. They listed assets I don't even trade in the excuse email to terminate me. At least pay me my money that's owed to me.

If there was no strategy, how did I continue to make money? I'm very good at trading the trend and this pissed City off so they had to come up with an excuse. Does City want me to go short in a long trend so it's not a one sided bet? The fact that they said I can never trade with them again is proof enough that they got tired of me getting payouts. City, do the honorable thing and pay me my money.

The support team is amazing, on time response, and finally, I got my 3.8K first payout!! This is really good. Looking forward to working with them for the next decade.
