Smooth experience through the online application and pick up of motor! However….turning up and noticing the key battery was running low wasn’t the best,considering how much a battery actually costs.

I would strongly advise anyone considering buying a car from Cinch to think carefully based on my experience.
After purchasing my vehicle, it developed serious faults, including a failed turbo that left it undriveable. I have already paid £678.28 out of my own pocket for one repair, yet I am still trying to get the main issue resolved under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
The most frustrating part has been the delays. Three separate garages have now confirmed the same fault, but instead of resolving the issue, Cinch has continued to request further reports and diagnostics. I sent a formal complaint on 9 July, giving a 14-day deadline to resolve the matter, but that deadline passed without a resolution.
Throughout this process I have cooperated fully, making the vehicle available for repeated inspections and providing everything requested. Meanwhile, I have been left without the use of my car, faced ongoing uncertainty, and experienced significant stress.
I appreciate that faults can occur with any used vehicle, but what matters is how a company responds. In my experience, the repeated delays and lack of a timely resolution have been extremely disappointing.
I hope Cinch now resolves this matter promptly without the need for court proceedings. Until then, I cannot recommend my experience with the company.

Went onto the cinch website as heard from a friend who had a positive experience. The whole process from choosing a car applying for finance and receiving delivery of the car took 6 days in total.
I was kept up to date via emails and then text message from the driver when he was en route to deliver.

Today, I traveled from London to Corby on the understanding that the car I had earmarked to drive home later that day would have had a service and any parts or lubricants used are manufacturer approved. I Checked this after discussing with the Kia Head office. Also, are there any deal breakers ie marks or scuffs that are not acceptable.

Arrived at cinch to be told the could provide a list of materials used in the service. This of course could invalidate the 7 year warranty that goes with the car. Also, a noticeable chip on the bonnet of the car.

No flexibility on price given me expected further expenditure. No can do attitude from the team I’m afraid. Very disappointed having travelled all that way ready to transfer £27k to them. No wonder the economy has tanked with this sort of nonsense and rubbish service.

1st class experience from choosing the car to the delivery, Richard the delivery driver kept me in informed about his progress while he was on route. When he arrived he was very professional and informative about the car. He couldn’t do enough for us and was very patient.

Received really great customer service from JP in the Corby branch, wasn't pushy at all and listened to what I wanted.
Car was ready at the agreed time and the whole sales process was straightforward.
Really pleased with the car and the way the sale was conducted.

Pardeep delivered the car on time as described. Handover was efficient. Explained car well. Very happy.

Disappointing.
Not made clear that there would be NO Jack or breakdown kit with the car. I was told there was a spare wheel. This was not so.
There was no emergency tyre repair kit and I am now having to wait a month for one to be supplied by you, or cause inconvenience to myself in purchasing one and hoping that you reimburse me.

Great customer service overall by the individuals I interacted with at Cinch throughout the transaction. Very helpful, polite and friendly, so I can’t fault them at all on this.

However, the online advert and photos were a bit misleading when compared to the actual state of the vehicle upon collection.

Some of the damage/issues with the car were not fully disclosed or visible via the photos added to the listing. For example, the bumper has clearly had a poor quality respray at some point and there was black spray paint across one of the interior windows and door as well as around the exterior of the vehicle - fortunately, I have managed to polish most of this out. But how it made it through quality inspection with black paint across interior windows is baffling and I would have expected this to be disclosed within the listing for full buyer transparency.

Generally, the car itself didn’t look like anyone had taken the time or care to properly valet or prepare it prior to collection (food residue, sticky surfaces, mud on door trims). Whilst I understand general wear and tear is not usually addressed by Cinch, the minimum I would have expected for a £20k+ car is for it to be cleaned thoroughly prior to pickup.

Overall, it made the initial viewing and collection of the car a little underwhelming after travelling over an hour to pick it up.

I am still working out whether to spend the money on a professional valet/clay bar treatment to try and remove some of the paint residue and other areas missed by the Cinch team, or whether to just return the vehicle and buy elsewhere as fortunately they give you 14 days to change your mind.

The after care service was basically none existent. Tyres had been checked by there garage of choice. Outcome was they where perishing. Plastic missing from the interior of the internal wing mirror. Also no repair kit for the wheels. Contacted them alot without response. Now took it too ombudsman to claim for the tyres I have had to buy, plastic trim and repair kit for wheels. 25k car paid in full with really bad aftercare.

When buying the vehicle, you hear a lot from Cinch and I don’t have any issues with the pre-sales or handover teams. However the Aftercare is awful, I noticed a part that was on the description was not with the vehicle. I have contacted them twice so far since Saturday and I have not had any reply. Totally let’s down the rest of the teams service.

I was pushed into a home delivery when I explained to the sales staff that I lived in Corby so there was no need for a home delivery. They claimed that as it was classed as “A Market Shop” Car & it was located at another branch so it wouldn’t reach the Corby Hib. Unfortunately for the team their own app’ proved them wrong as it flagged up that my car had reached the Hub as was being prepped for delivery.
After a lot of discussions they eventually agreed I could collect it from the Corby store. However, I had to fight to get my £225 home delivery charge refunded.
It was then at the handover stage their deception really unraveled - the car had not been prepped at all. The car was not as the sales person had described, seats were not fully electric as she had stated. The team member doing the handover discovered parts of the seat parts were laying on the floor of the car, loose seat fittings and to top it all off he went to put his hand in the cup holder to retrieve the locking wheel nut only to be met an open packet of Stanley Knife Blades!

It’s clear Cinch does not do a full check of the car - either mechanical or otherwise, nor was the car valeted.

To make matters even worse, once you begin the process of the refund, you have to wait to get your money back and if you’ve taxed the car already, hold tight as you’ll have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to get your money back from the DVLA.
Cinch has left me out of pocket and have refused to do anything about it!

Shocking service! Buying from Cinch is definitely NOT a Cinch!

Always been fantastic customer service. Would highly recommend.
