Expert Knowledge and Honest Dealings
I first came across Chris Alsop's advertisement about two weeks before ordering some of his hand made fret rounding tools. I was struck by his thorough approach and depth of knowledge regarding fret levelling and crowning. As an occasional guitar maker I wanted some equipment and with all the free advice I had no hesitation in ordering. Finally Chris gave me a refund because his prices were reduced around the time of my order hence the ref. to Honest in the title.

Take the worry out of fret crowning...
Great product. Chris's fret crowning tool is the best I've ever used. Easy to hold with a very well designed ergonomic grip, and a good diamond cutting surface. He even supplies instructions and a tool to clean it after use. It's under half the price of the leading Japanese one too.
Okay, I can get results as good as those (if not better) by using my old trusty triangular file, but then I have many years' experience. For those who are inexperienced or without too much mechanical aptitude, this tool, if used in accordance with the instructions, will give excellent results without worry.

Fantastic service and product!

Fantastic tools and service. Really pleased with the crown fretting tool in particular which was simply terrific for a novice to use. I have bought other products before and never fail to be impressed.
