We have been using Chesterton for over 10 years to manage our apartment in London. Ryan Briggs is the property manager and is beyond helpful, great communicator and will always try to resolve issues in the quickest time. Highly recommend.

Always a pleasure dealing with the team at Chestertons. Super responsive, helpful, and genuinely easy to work with. We had an issue with something at the property and they had a handyman out in good time and got it sorted with no fuss. From an estate agent's point of view, these guys are some of the best we've worked with. Highly recommend.

My feedback is specifically regarding the support and help of Marianna Charalambous who has been a responsive, prompt and helpful contact at Chestertons for the property we have been letting for over two years. We navigated a tricky situation with our flat and were making limited progress until Marianna was involved and helped us resolve the matter within days. She definitely sets the bar for an excellent property manager.

Chestertons Property Management is absolutely awful. We have been waiting months on end for repairs to be made to the flat we are renting and they still haven't been completed. Property managers just don't respond to their emails at all, and if they do they will come up with random excuses as to why the repairs haven't been made yet.

My experience as a landlord with Chestertons has been a mixed bag overall, but with more positives than negatives. A big reason for that was Ann Dickson, who managed my property professionally, responsively, and with genuine care. She was practical, helpful, and a steady point of contact throughout.

My experience with Chestertons Canary Wharf started positively with the sales team, but property management has been unreliable and lacking accountability.
On the last of many issues, a contractor visit arranged by Chestertons failed because the tenant was allegedly unaware of the appointment. The contractor himself raised concerns about how the visit had been arranged and now charges apply for any future visits. Despite repeated requests, Chestertons have not provided the correspondence needed to clarify responsibility. Instead, they are focused on deflecting responsibility, ask the owner to pay and moving on (!?).

More broadly, my experience has been marked by contradictions, poor communication and delays that go into months. Beware! I requested this contractor visit back in October 2025 and it was only arranged in May 2026 despite many, many follow ups...

In my view, this is a corporate, not an individual failure. Chestertons that does not adequately train or empower property managers plus they simply seem to lack the time to do their work properly.

I would honestly advise caution before using Chestertons for property management. You will end up trying to manage the mess and your tenant.

Today I contacted Chestertons letting team at their South Kensington Branch regarding a property they had been advertising for a couple of weeks and which was available to rent from the middle of August. Having set out in some detail my circumstances and time scale I was informed by the Agent that he was far to busy to come out to someone who was “just browsing” and not able to sign papers immediately. An arrogant attitude and most unhelpful customer service. I would contrast this with the most helpful attitude I have encountered from other estate agents. Needless to say I will not be contacting Chestertons again.

I was a tenant of a property managed by Chesterton's for over a decade. Overall they were very competent, responsive, and personable. There were some challenging moments caused by water ingress (not the fault of Chesterton's at all -- issues resulting from the estate management company) and Chesterton's was supportive and attentive. In particular, I'd point out that Monet M -- my agent the past few years -- was especially helpful and personable. She made everything as easy going as possible, was incredibly quick to reply to any email or phone call, always had a solution at hand, and was always fun to deal with. Much appreciated.

I had a very positive experience working with Harriet Naine from Chestertons. She has been extremely helpful, responsive, and professional throughout the entire process.
In particular, Harriet went above and beyond to assist me in retrieving several years of financial statements for my property, coordinating with the accounts team and keeping me regularly updated. Her patience and willingness to help, even with more complex and time‑sensitive requests, were truly appreciated.
It’s rare to find such dedication and attention to detail I would highly recommend Harriet for her outstanding service and support.

What went very right this time is the help I got from Carl James, one of your senior team members. But it's not all good news. Prior to Carl taking over my case (and to be honest this is true of much of my prior experience with management support over the last few years) I was getting no help at all. He’s a talented and diligent professional. I’m so grateful to him.

I would like to thank Ioana at Chestertons for her excellent support while covering for my usual Managing Agent. She was professional, responsive, and extremely helpful in dealing with several tenancy-related queries. In particular, she took the initiative to chase up my check-in report and kept me updated throughout the process.
Ioana provided outstanding customer service. A real credit to the Chestertons team. Thank you for all your help.

Ioana Serban diligently followed up on an issue, although the reason her input was needed was prior engagement with other staff was mixed, hence 3 stars here.

Terrible! Yuliya made arrangements for us to view an apartment in Pimlico, to meet Leusa there. Leusa called as we were waiting at the property and cancelled the visit as it had been leased the day before. Then we went to visit an apartment with Stefan at Thames City. We liked it, and wanted to confirm the lease as we had a short time frame to move in. Yuliya was aware of our requirements well ahead of time, for short term rental. She sent a message that the building management could not accommodate our short term requirement. Totally wasted our time!

Chestertons manages our rental property. I recently had a request and spoke to Ioana Serban in Customer Services. Ioana was extremely helpful and found the information I needed and replied to me on the same day. I was very impressed by her polite, "can do" attitude and the speed with which she responded. Thanks Ioana :)

Cheneal is the best of the best, amazing at her role, always super helpful! My whole team love speaking with her! She is very effective at her role, always gets the info we need and really helps us to progress where needed.

Sharntell and Hannah were incredibly helpful at getting everything sorted for me. It was a tight deadline but they were able to provide all relevant information efficiently and promptly. They kept in constant communication with updates and were so nice throughout!

Shayna was very helpful and understood the issue and i look forwarder to receiving the Annual Landlords income and expenditure schedule for 2025-2026.
