Dear backer,

You are right to be angry about the delay and the lack of clear communication. The CheerPlay campaign is significantly behind the timeline we shared earlier, and our previous updates created expectations that were not met. We sincerely apologize for that and take responsibility for the loss of trust this has caused.

The project has not been abandoned. Some pledges have already been shipped or handed over to fulfillment, while pledges involving the metal upgrade are in a later batch because the metal components require additional assembly and quality checks before shipment. We understand that this does not change the fact that the delay has been far too long.

We also acknowledge that our communication should have been more consistent and more precise while backers were waiting. We will review our internal process and confirm fulfillment milestones more carefully before sharing timelines publicly, so we do not create expectations that we cannot fully meet.

Thank you for updating your review. We understand why our previous reply did not feel sufficient. You are right that, for an individual backer, shipment only becomes meaningful when there is a confirmed tracking update or visible delivery progress.

We also acknowledge that our earlier wording around “shipping” and “about to ship” created expectations before every pledge had a confirmed tracking number. That communication was not precise enough, and we are sorry for the frustration and loss of trust this caused.

To clarify the current status more carefully: pledges without the metal upgrade have already been shipped or handed over to fulfillment. Pledges involving the metal upgrade are still in a later fulfillment batch because the metal components require additional assembly and quality checks before shipment. We understand that this does not solve the delay immediately, but we do not want to create another false expectation by describing a pledge as shipped before tracking is actually available.

We understand why you are asking for either shipment or refund. At this stage, we will focus on providing clearer fulfillment information and avoiding broad promises that cannot be verified by every backer.
