Chauvel’s Detailing - Mobile Detailing in Bridgend Omdömen 

This guy completely rips women off. I paid for a five year ceramic coating on a newly purchased car. Evidently, it wasn't coated and this has now been verified by two other valeters who actually do ceramic coating themselves. I even gave Tom the benefit of the doubt by giving him the opportunity to put this right however, all he did was put a sealant on and then passed the water beading off as ceramic coating. Absolute con man! If you're a woman, walk away!!

Simply cannot fault the guys at chauvel’s detailing down at Bridgend. Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish. My car had taken a bit of a beating due to being used for work and the guys revived it far beyond what I ever thought possible. I had a 2 stage paint correction with a 5 year ceramic coating as well as an internal deep clean and it looks like new again. Seriously can’t thank or recommend these guys enough and will definitely be using them again in the future.

Absolutely superb! Decided to bite the bullet and get my Polestar ceramic coated. Looked online for local workshops and checked carefully for reviews. Decided to reach out to Chauvels Detailing and enquire due to their meticulous 5* rating. Communication and explanation of the job was superb and super efficient. They took good care of my car and sent me update photos and videos of the job in progress. Was absolutely awesome to see the difference before and after! Highly recommend Thomas and Chauvel’s detailing so much so a friend has also booked their Mustang Mach-E for the same ceramic coating after seeing the condition of my Polestar.

I went to Chauvel’s Detailing and received the stage one paint correction and ceramic coating for my BMW. I decided to go with the ceramic coating, after asking (many!) questions, as I wasn’t really sure what the whole process involved and Tom was very professional and did an outstanding job. Tom is such an approachable and polite person, he answered every single one of my questions, didn’t make me feel like I was asking too many. Both him and Lewis clarified what results I could expect with full transparency. I could immediately see the difference in the car and I am so pleased I went with them. It looks super glossy, a significant difference from before. Highly recommend, their work is fantastic and you can tell they really look after your vehicle and want you to have a good experience. I also really appreciated being updated throughout the process and how the car was looking. You won’t regret your experience if you go with Chauvel’s. Shoutout to Tom for all the amazing service and to Lewis who also provided thorough information on their offering.

I had my CUPRA treated with Tom’s Five Year Ceramic Coating at Chauvel’s Detailing in Bridgend — and honestly, I was blown away from the start. Tom’s passion and knowledge are obvious straight away, and his attention to detail is on another level. The paint correction removed most of the swirl marks, and the Gtechniq C1 Crystal Lacquer gave the car incredible depth and gloss. It genuinely felt like a showroom finish.

Six months on, I wanted to share an update — especially after picking the car up again today following a maintenance wash after a harsh winter.

I expected it to need a bit of work… but it barely did. The coating has held up unbelievably well. Dirt doesn’t stick, water beads perfectly, and even after daily driving through salt and grime, the car still looks freshly detailed after a simple wash.

And after today? It somehow looks even better than when I first got it done. The gloss is back in full force, the finish is flawless, and it’s completely ready for summer.

Massive credit to Tom and the team — this isn’t just a great first impression, it’s quality that genuinely lasts. If you care about your car, just get it booked in, hand over the keys, and let him work his magic. You won’t regret

Wow what a service!! From start to finish. Thomas went above and beyond to help me, and this came as an added bonus from th service I paid for. From getting me home safely and dropping my keys to me...Thomas was so polite, and he and his apprentice did an amazing job on my car, which was revolting when handed to them, and they got it up like new!! What a difference. I am so pleased.

After the service was completed Thomas had to break the bad news to me that my battery had died, and he kindly attempted to jump start it with his Dad. He also recommended me a mechanic. As it was new years eve Thomas reassured me that he would keep my car safe, and it was no rush to get it moved from outside his home.

On new years day I managed to book an appointment with AA, and had quite a wait. Whilst waiting Thomas' family offered me hot drink, access to their toilet, and a warm place to wait. Their kindness was heartwarming. Once my car was fixed and I returned home, Thomas messaged me to make sure everything was all good with the car. This kind of service you couldn't put a price to!! Thank you so much, for making this experience one I won't forget 😊

Amazing service at Chauvels Cleaning. Professional workers, polite & made my car look like new! Fantastic transformation as my car hadn't been cleaned for a year. All of the stains in my carpet are gone!

Excellent service, left my car looking in show room condition. I would absolutely recommend, even got the inner railings of my car cleaned by the seats which I have not seen before by other detailed.

Top valet done on my car, before I had it done it was absolutely stinking mould growing in the boot, rubbish everywhere, stains you name it my car was filthy I left it for a few hours with the boys and came back to a brand new car never have I had it this clean will definitely be returning in the future, I highly recommend this service to anyone looking to get their car cleaned properly 💯
