£300+ for a polyester coat… they are pretty yes, they are promoted by celebrities (who definitely get them for free) but for everyone else it’s a lot of money for the quality. I ended up selling it because I couldn’t justify the cost. I would say to invest your money in a real Afghan coat.

My partner ordered a coat for me in the last drop. I’ve worn the coat five times and not one but two of the buttons have fallen off. We’ve attempted to reach out to Charlotte Simone’s customer service numerous times with no success or now no response. Spend your $500+ on better quality and better customer care.

I’ve become such a fan of this brand. I’m on my third jacket (Rocky, Stella and Celine) now and truly can’t say enough about how exceptional the pieces are. The quality and design are incredibly chic, but also comfortable and wearable. Each piece feels elevated and unique while still being effortless.

I reached out on IG with a few questions about one of the styles, and was referred to Danielle over email. She is AMAZING. She responded so quickly, walked me through sizing, and was genuinely kind and helpful (and I emailed a lot!). That level customer care is rare and made the experience even better. Shipping was also super fast.

I genuinely want every piece and will absolutely continue to be a loyal, repeat customer. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

I ordered two coats but unfortunately both were a disappointment.

The quality does not justify the price point. While the designs look appealing online, in reality the materials feel thin and lack the substance you would expect from a brand positioned as premium. Considering the price, it was especially disappointing to discover that the coats are made in China, yet feel comparable to much cheaper alternatives.

Additionally, the buying experience feels outdated. Many brands today ship DDP, so customers know the full cost upfront. Allowing customers to place an order without clarity on the final amount they will pay at delivery feels very unmodern for a fashion brand today.

Overall, the experience did not meet expectations — neither in terms of product quality nor the overall customer journey.

Inacceptable that it is not written anywhere before passing the order that you will have to pay import duties so expensive! If you refuse the delivery you will have to pay for the transport, import duties and the transport back to UK... The import duties are half the price of the coat. I asked just to refuse the order and pay for the trransport but no, they offered me to refund only 75€ on the £488.00 GBP, Ah-ah-ah !
Who does that nowadays ? Just add the information with the total amount we have to pay at the check out, it seems like a recurrent problem.

This is absolutely unacceptable. First of all, you don’t specify anywhere that the amount of taxes is practically the same as the value of the item itself. It’s absurd to think that for a coat costing £345 + 35£, I would have to pay £180 in shipping taxes. Had I known this, I would never have ordered from this website.
On top of that, the price they charge for items that are 100% polyester is already excessive. Both the product and the customer service were extremely disappointing. I definitely won’t be ordering again.

I’m genuinely blown away by Charlotte Simone.
Both of my coats arrived, and each one is even more beautiful than the last. The quality is extraordinary — the faux-fur lining, the structure, the softness, the weight, the attention to detail… everything feels luxurious, thoughtful, and crafted with real artistry.

You can feel, instantly, that these are not ordinary pieces.
They are statement coats — the kind that make you look and feel elevated the moment you put them on.

The customer service was just as exceptional. Kemana was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. She guided me with sizing and answered every question with so much care. I’m truly grateful for her support.

What impressed me most is the consistency: both coats exceeded my expectations. The fit, the craftsmanship, the aesthetic — everything is flawless. Charlotte Simone has become one of my absolute favourite brands, and I cannot wait to see future collections (and hopefully restocks of some styles I loved!).

A wonderful experience from start to finish.

I love the designs but the quality of the fabric is shockingly bad. The Mongolian trim is nice enough but the materials used for the body of the coat are really thin and cheap looking. Shocking considering the price point.
I bought 2 styles and immediately returned them both.

Really bad quality. I ordered two coats from the drop and both were really poor quality. They both had loose threads, one had severely wonky stitching. It's extremely overpriced, I'd honestly say it's Primark or ASOS quality. It's definitely a social media brand, so disappointed as I really wanted to support the founder. The quality is laughable, cheap badly sewn plastic.

I really wanted to love my Charlotte Simone coat, but the quality is honestly awful for the price. The lining started splitting after just a couple of wears, and the seams feel weak like they could tear any moment. The fabric doesn’t feel special or durable — it’s giving fast fashion, not something worth a few hundred pounds.
And let’s be real, the designs are heavily influenced by both big designers and small independent brands. Once you’ve seen similar pieces elsewhere, it’s hard not to notice how unoriginal a lot of it looks.
Overall, it’s overhyped for what it is. You’re basically paying for branding and an “aesthetic,” not good craftsmanship. Wouldn’t recommend if you care about quality or originality.

Charlotte Simone coats are indeed cute and make a statement. But their coats have literally shot up by 35%- 40% from one drop to the next. I could justify spending 299 pounds on a coat but not 450 pounds for the same item six months later. Additionally, ship times are highly inaccurate. First they claim, items will start shipping one week after drop closes(each drop is a week long) . Often times you will be waiting almost a full month or five weeks until the item arrives. When their prices drastically rise, hire the appropriate staff to get the items out to your customers in a timely basis.

My coat was over $650 with conversion, paired with the wait times- I would say you can find better, for cheaper with reasonable delivery somewhere else.
As consumers, we expect more.

Like other reviewers said, Charlotte Simone coats are Style over Quality. They aren't very good quality and run very small. In my case the sizing of the coat didn’t match the description and the pockets were mismatched. The polyester lining feels VERY cheap. I had to return it.

In the end I bought the same coat secondhand as I did really like the style. And I guess that is her strong suit - no one is designing and putting out styles like her, so i guess that is what you are paying for in the end? I just wished everything was more genuine, the quality and the sizing. The influencer marketing gives you an idea to who the coats are geared towards ... in real life the size XL is only fitting for a size 38 DE.

It is better to buy similar coats that are vintage.

I’ve been waiting for months for this new drop. When my order finally came in, I cannot express how underwhelmed I was. It feels like something from Zara, and for how much this cost, that is a blow. I’ve been calling local dry cleaners because of the musty smell that came with my jacket. Still debating whether I’m going to return or not, but never buying from this ‘sustainable’ brand again. Too bad! The coats are gorgeous.

The customer service at Charlotte Simone was absolutely fantastic, especially Kemana. So, I ordered a coat that was too large and I was away in the UAE and missed the return deadline. Not only did they extend my return timeframe, but they answered a gazilion emails from me (IM mildly obsessed with their coats!) patiently and made me love Charlotte Simone even more. Great company and great coats! Thanks so much, sending lots of love from California!
