Had a couple of deliveries from Champion Timber now. Each time, driver has turned up when expected, friendly and helpful enough to leave the delivery in back garden until I need to use it.

Om Champion Timber
Skrivet av företaget
Champion Timber - Specialist Timber Merchant.
Unrivalled quality. Unrivalled range. Unrivalled service.
Good quality timber is a joy to work with and creates a better job. In fact, cheap timber is often a false economy, as anyone who has had to deal with excessive knots, warped joists or splitting timber knows.
At Champion, we source our own timber from Northern Scandinavia, machine it ourselves and sell directly to you. By doing this, we control the quality and continuity of supply and offer the best quality at competitive prices. We also have a comprehensive range and carry vast stocks of decking, landscaping timbers, fencing, sheet materials, insulation, flooring, doors and stairparts. We also stock a wide selection of timber-related products such as fixings, adhesives, power tools, ironmongery, paint, and much more.
With 10 branches across the South East, we are the region's leading independent timber specialist with over 90 years of experience of supplying the trade. We are dedicated to providing you, the professional, with the range and quality of timber that will save you time and money.

Good online service but product delivered wasn’t great
Easy to order online, quick delivery, and delivery driver was very helpful.
Annoyingly the oak stair rail I ordered had water marks on it, which was very disappointing for the money spent on it.

Svar från Champion Timber
Hello John, we are glad that our online ordering and delivery service suits your needs. Regarding the Oak stair rail, watermarks are very rare on our products as they are all kept in dry and undercover at every branch so that we can avoid issues like this!
Please send an email to marketing@championtimber.com so that we can get this resolved as soon as possible!

Good Timber Company
Champions have good quality timber. Generally all the timber I have bought from them over the years has been of better quality than that sold by DIY shops and builders merchants. It is all kept under cover. Other yards are outdoors and the timber is often soaked. The yard staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They also offer a free cutting service whilst you wait. They also have an extensive shop for tools, fixings and hardware. I have also checked their prices against competitors and found them to be reasonable, especially when you take into consideration the quality of the materials.
I would have no hesitation in recommending them for all your timber needs.

Above and beyond even for a small sale
Took a sketch of an idea with measurements to Sutton Branch and Adam skilfully provided the materials cut to size with specialist screws discussed with Steve and put through till by Grant. They were all professional efficient and offered their expert advice as they could see I didn’t have any skill. Thanks to their expert cutting and advice I was able to complete the project in a few hours. Definitely recommend them. They told me prices in advance and even put a refund through when they discovered there was a cheaper option than the one I had originally asked for. Great work. Excellent customer service.

Bought a 0.9m length of 4 by 3 timber…
Bought a 0.9m length of 4 by 3 timber staff are great but made a big mistake by not asking for the price £26 i could not beleive it as it was already cut obliged to buy it ASK THE PRICE FIRST !!!
Basically it is buyer beware i did not know they had all the diffrent grades of timber and was not made aware that i was being supplied with the most expensive timber !

Omdöme utan inbjudan
Svar från Champion Timber
Sorry you feel aggrieved by our price on this item. We do stock different grades of timber in this size, depending on what the end use is. You have purchased our best grade joinery, which is a slow grown Scandinavian joinery redwood, which we further sort and grade to minimalize defects.
Please accept my apologies if the team did not make this clear at the time of your visit.
If you would like to e-mail me directly with further details of your purchase I am happy to look into it in more detail.
