We're still waiting for our furniture, when it should have taken but 21 business days! Our belongings were picked up June 26th in BC and headed to Nova Scotia. Here we sit, August 8th and they're now saying end of August. We have family coming to stay then! We're absolutely devastated! I chose Centennial Moving in GOOD faith and we received nothing but a horrible lack of customer service in return. The rep we dealt with from the beginning no longer works for these movers! My husband and I are seniors and continue to live in a home devoid of furniture, and have had to resort to purchasing items to tide us over - another cost.
Excuse after excuse - extreme heat, lack of movers (my gosh, this is what their business is about!) - stop pulling these excuses out of a jar. To add insult to injury, they told US to find someone to pick up our belongings in the Toronto warehouse and they would adjust their invoice! That isn't OUR job! The final straw was the rebate offer... $200, then $300 and finally $400 off our total invoice! Right now, Centennial Moving is offering 5% rebate for seniors, military and students, as well as anyone moving during a holiday! How about you take care of your existing customers with some positive service?
Everyone considering a move, stay AWAY from Centennial Moving. I thought I did thorough research before choosing this company, but obviously I did NOT check into them enough. Anyone who posts a negative review basically get this generic response --- "We are terribly sorry for the unpleasant experience you had with us. Whilst an apology will regrettably not alter the outcome of your experience on this case, we do extend it with sincerity." JUST DO THE JOB RIGHT FROM THE START, and people would be thrilled to post positive reviews!!!

I was quite disappointed with how poorly our belongings were handled along their journey, not to mention the two week delay in receiving them at all. There shouldn't be a premium fee for receiving your things in one piece. They had two responsibilities: getting our stuff here in one piece and on time and NEITHER were achieved. We will definitely not be recommending Centennial to others.

Great work from Centennial. I just moved from Vancouver to Milton ON and at the beginning, I was a bit worried about my goods, but after the collection, my worries vanished. Everything went smooth, I really want to thank the movers as they were nice, kind, quick and professional. I also want to highlight the amazing customer service that I received from the office, available at all times. I didn't give 5 stars because this was my first move, I am not an expert in this field but the price was about what I thought it would be.

Great choice

We've had to move around Canada a few times in the last five years, and I could never find luck with moving companies. Whether the guys don't show up on time, things get "lost" along the way, the delivery doesn't happen on schedule, or the worst case scenario, they charge you extra during the drop off because of whatever they feel like charging you for, it had always been a nightmare to find a solid moving company. So with heavy skepticism, we tried this new company, and we finally got lucky.

-Estimate came back immediately
-Pick up was smooth and well executed
-Delivery execution was also very clean and well planned (Lots of confirmation phone calls about delivery time and location)
-Price was exactly the same as the estimate
I know it seems very obvious, and maybe we've just been unlucky in the past, but if we have to move again, we will be using these guys without a doubt.

Not my first out of province move but it was the first time I've had a move occur without changes or problems. With moving there is always something that gets thrown into the mix I feel. A fee that you didn't calculate or that wasn't mentioned. A change in starting or ending times. It's almost always been one thing or another with most of the movers I've dealt with in the past. The move to Toronto was organized to a tee. The driver had it all mapped out how long it would take. I was told they would arrive fourteen days later in the late afternoon but they actually came in the morning on the scheduled move in day. They gave a notice the night before so I would be ready. I wish more moving companies were easy to deal with like these guys.

AMAZING COMPANY!! This company packed my place up last summer and kept everything in storage until my new place was ready. They are polite, know what they're doing and very reasonably priced. The guys moved me in last week. They were very efficient and got my stuff in right before the weather started. They did the unload and nothing was broken!! This company is a gem!! If you're reading this review you don't need to look any further for a moving company. A pleasure to work with them.

The move from Brandon to Kawartha Lakes went flawlessly start to finish. The estimate was not only fair, all parts were explained thoroughly. The loading team was on time and carefully wrapped/packed all of my mother's things. The moving crew showed up early and took great care to not damage the house while taking the furniture and boxes to the truck. Serge the driver took especially good care of the valuable items we declared and made sure they arrived safely. The delivery at 2 sites went flawlessly and the ability to drive that truck in tight places was incredible. The whole experience was terrific and I would recommend your company without reservation.

We have just used Miracle movers to move house across the country. I would happily recommend this company for moving home. I have heard so many bad stories: items breaking, boxes going missing etc. We had a team of 3 men who arrived on time, were polite, incredibly hard working, systematic and they were fantastic. The same went for the unpacking, even though we still had builders in the house and not all boxes could be unpacked, they were again extremely professional, efficient and helpful. Not a single item broken, missing, no marks on the walls. Very impressed.

When I needed to do a long distance move last month, I talked with many moving companies! But the problem was that everyone asked for a very high fee. At one point I decided I will try to do it on my own! But the last call which I got was from Centennial. Surprisingly, their rate was low and reasonable! It seemed a little fishy at first, but after that I checked them out and did a little research. I saw all the good reviews and I just went for it and booked them. Now I want to say that my decision worked out amazingly well! They were super professional, honest and efficient! They moved me so well! There were no damages, no extra fees and no accidents or delays! What I got was a very smooth move! Thank you for keeping the price low for ordinary people like us!

We had scheduled a move from Banff to Aurora with Centennial. Their customer service and attention during this move were amazing and so appreciated. The movers used both in Banff and Aurora were professional, thoughtful and careful with our belongings. We were impressed with the inventory system Centennial used to log and keep track of all items shipped and we received all items exactly as we left them. This was a stressful time for such a big move and Centennial made it all that much easier for us! We recommend them for any moving needs!

Usually I have some friends or family members who help me with my moves, but this time, I had a time limit and everyone I reached out to had things to do. My brother told me about these guys and his most recent move with them and he said that it was super easy. I travel a lot for work so I don't stay in one spot for a long time, but this move was a bit further so it was super stressy. I called and spoke to a very nice lady on the phone. I looked into different pricing and asked what was included and all that stuff, she told me that it would be within my range & it would be done before my first day of work. I woke up early to get to pack and the movers came super punctual. They moved quickly but carefully. My biggest concern was my work supplies which included a ton of electronics and things I would need for the next day. They loaded it all up and placed it in its own corner, separate to make sure it didn't get damaged. Very friendly & punctual & careful. My brother had a good experience and I did too. Definitely will be spreading the word.

This company certainly worked for me as I had won scholarship, meaning I had to relocate to Toronto. My company was funding the move and I was told to choose some options. Centennials reviews stood out for me and they did not disappoint.

I've used Centennial twice now, they are the most affordable cross-Canada movers I have found. They are very courteous, efficient and they make sure to wrap just about everything in moving blankets. In my last move, however, a few of my storage bins came back damaged but I guess if that's the worst that happened then it's no problem.

AMAZING
We where moving to the coast from Saskatoon. It was a big step for us. Centennial moving helped us achieve our goal with there expertise and experience. They where very precise and affordable. I had my doubts about trusting complete strangers move our life from one province to another. If we ever have to move again they will be the first company to call. No doubt about it. Thankyou!!!

Called Centennial to see if they would be able to accommodate our move to Oakville. Communication was great. They were able to assess our place and give us a quote right away. Price was right. Not to mention friendly and courteous teams. On time and made our move go smooth and before our deadline. Nothing was lost or broken. If you're moving I would highly recommend them for Long Distance moves!

Do not use this company. We chose them because of their excellent reviews on their website, but after further investigating, I question whether these are real. They gave us very misleading quotes (quoted $1500 to move from Ontario to Vancouver, ended up being over $4000), we received zero communication throughout the whole process, had our stuff arrive 3 weeks late so we slept on an air mattress in an empty apartment for that time. They also offered no compensation or any sort of customer service on their end. By the end of the ordeal, my bar was so low that I was happy when it even showed up and only a few things were broken. Do yourself a favour and rent a u-haul!

Centennial was there for me when I needed them most. They ensured successful relocation for me. They did all that was within their reach to ensure that I was relocated competently. I am so thrilled with the eventual turn out of things. The rates, the timelines and the dedication to service were all amazing. They are truly a top relocation company. I recommend Centennial to any person who is out for a reliable relocation company, I suggest to them to give them a call if they are not so sure of where to head for quality relocations. The way the movers handled my items was safe and efficient. I wouldn’t want any of my friends to miss out on that either and that is why I will recommend them.
