Cebu Pacific cancelled our Bohol-Manila…
Cebu Pacific cancelled our Bohol-Manila flight with five days' notice. We were offered a refund on 25 April. As of mid June, no refund has been credited to our account, despite several inquiries of customer service, which maintains that the refund has been paid. It has not and they won't provide details of when the transfer was made and into which account. This implies a possibility of fraud within Cebu Pacific's payment system.
A vast improvement!
I reviewed this airline quite a few years ago, and found them very mediocre then, & have not really used them since.
However I just had three flights with them, internatiuonal & domestic, and couldn't find a single thing to complain about (except their website)!
Flights were ontime, there was no quibbling about an extra kg or two at checkin, was a new plane & cabin staff were friendly & helpful.
Manila Term.3 is still a mess, but that's not Cebu's fault.

Why NOT?:
I booked a 6AM direct flight (Cebu - Hongkong) when I was still in Europe (I live there) and it is not a cheap ticket (cost me for almost 40k pesos RT) for myself and my 7 year old daughter. But this airline changed it to 3PM flight, only option are connecting flights that take us 12 to 15 hours instead of 2.5 hrs. - direct. I agreed. But they change again to 5PM flight, same option connecting flights that take us 1 day! My plans were cancelled due to this. I should meet a friend in HK that her only day off is Sunday but due to the changes, I cancelled it!
Then at the airport, 1 hour delay! No compensations!
When we were on board the plane, my daughter was hungry so I ordered food for her right after take off! They said I need to wait for 20-25 mins, I paid and said it’s okay. I waited for almost 2 hrs. When they announced that the plane is landing, FA went to me and said sorry, sold out! What the F!!!! They offer other food for free but that was the only food my daughter will eat!
Cebu Pacific also changed my return ticket. I booked for a Tuesday flight and they changed it to Wednesday same time! The same options, connecting flights that take us 1 day if I will change! I need to book for extra day in a hotel. And all my plans were ruined! No compensations!!!
BAIT and Switch Pricing - DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND FLY PAL
Another absolutely horrible experience getting ripped off by Cebu Pacific airlines. Booked a flight on Cebu Pacific airlines PPS to CEB to DUM. I had some diving luggage out of PPS, went to airport one day in advance, spoke to cebu pacific staff about extra luggage. Purchased 2 extra 30 kg baggage amount. The cebu pacific agents said because I was flying two sectors I had to pay twice but that would cover 3 bags but had to check in luggage again in CEB, ok a bit painful and bizzare already. Upon arriving in CEB and checking the luggage in I was informed by Cebu Pacific staff that i would have to pay more as they have different rules in Cebu compared in PPS. An absolute joke of an airline. In the end the baggage cost more that the flight - ridiculus predatory pricing to ripp off passengers as much as possible. This is before taking in the facts that the airline is very unreliable with flights cancelled or delayed on a regular basis. Or maybe the fact that if the weather is not perfect the flight will be cancelled. FLY PAL reliable good service, maybe a bit more expensive at first glance but after the bait and switch Cebu Pacific will cost at least twice as much as PAL.

I normally do not post but I have to give Cebu pacific an F my trip started Saturday may 31st from MNL to Hong Kong the flight was scheduled to leave at 1530 and left after1800 causing me to reschedule a pick up. The return trip from Hong Kong to MNL was scheduled to leave at 1100 it left at 1400 at the airport they gave us vouchers equivalent to 250 pesos and the Starbucks to redeem the coupons was a 17 min walk ( the other side of the airport).Our next hiccup was we booked a flight from MNL to BCD with sufficient time we missed the flight because we circled around the airport . Upon arrival we were given bags of potato chips and water as if this was too compensate for the delays also the excuse we were given is due to repositioning of the planes this is why a three hour flight took 12 hours I cannot tell you how exhausted I am I had someone pick me up and left my car at the airport in BCD . The customer service at the check in counter were helpful but the girl Cathy at the third floor customer service was not helpful and refused to give me an employee ID number I believe Cebu pacific gets away with this because they have monopoly on the domestic flights I am going to try everything possible to avoid this airline if someone from the company wants to reach out to me Rsant33357@ yahoo.com your airline has serious customer service issues an automated apology can only go so far you need to compensate customer and quit using an automated apology robot I would like to speak with a live agent I will continue my crusade until I receive a satisfactory response social media is a big platform ty

DO NOT BOOK A FLIGHT WITH THIS AIRLINE! This Organisation is a SCAM! I am writing to express my deep concern and growing frustration over the unresolved refund for the luggage costs of my flight, originally confirmed and approved by your customer service team.
After writing countless emails and complaints the company just ghosted us and left us abandoned after they said that they will refund us. I even have screenshots that proof that they will refund us. It was the worst experience with an airline that i ever had. And trust me i have some experience.

Priority boarding is a joke. The staff just let everyone in in random order and no respect for those who has priority boarding.

Aside from the frequent delays. This last time I book was scummy. I tried to pay multiple times for a flight using their website and the page would crash so I would start over. But then I see that the same flight I'm trying to book has increased in price... After about 2-3 times trying to book and an increase in price, I finally got through and bit the bullet to buy the final price which went from $165 to $214 (not including the insurance and whatever nonsense they make you pay extra for.) I notice the next day, the same flight and day has decreased, so don't believe the "only 1 seat left" nonsense.

Book this airline using 3rd party agency and when rebooking, its very hard to rebook directly, you need to call the agency or chat their Customer service. You cant rebook directly using their website. It was ok before until recently when chey make changes. its no longer a user friendly website . it takes a lot of time. Hope they they change the system and any body can rebook or change flight with out contacting the 3rd party agent or their customer service.

Be very careful using this airline, especially when trying to get from Bohol to El Nido.
We were traveling in a group of 9 and were all booked on to this flight but we were lied to and offered alternate travel. Rather than a 1.5h flight direct to El Nido we were asked to board a flight to Manila offered a hotel for the evening (even though we were already paying for a hotel in El Nido) and a 2pm flight the next day to El Nido. We took this offer because we were led to believe that we would be stranded in Bohol if we didn't. When we arrived in Manila we were told that we were not on the 2pm flight out of manila the next day but on a much later flight!! the flight we had been promised and agreed to was already full. The only option we had was to catch a flight to Princessa and pay for a 5 hour through the night minivan journey. Our 1.5 hour direct flight turned into a 16 hour journey and we arrived 5am the following day absolutely shattered. Cebu are not willing to reimburse our flight or compensate us for being lied to. My advice is do not use this company if possible, failing this if you are asked to take a later flight because there is a "problem" with the flight just refuse. They have over booked the flight and they are looking for some losers to palm off with lies...

Utter incompetence
Utter incompetence on part of the airline lead to 48 hours of chaos at El Nido Airport, when Cebu took over Air Swift in March 2025.
I myself was "lucky" to only be delayed 7 hours, rather than 2 whole days like some people.
Still I had to buy a completely new flight to make it home from Manila to Australia due to missing my connection, leaving me $700 out of pocket, an expense my travel insurance will not cover.
And to add insult to injury, rather than offer me compensation, Cebu think they should fob me off with a flight voucher for a one way flight within the Philippines, where I don't live and likely will never return to in this lifetime.

Moved the flight time from 6:30pm to…
They moved the flight time from 6:30pm to 11:30am (the same day) 3 days before the flight. We were flying in from International flight so could not make this, and they had moved both their evening flights that day. We had to book a flight with a different airline.
Only a rebooking within 30 days or a internal 'travel fund' refund was offered. On trying to get a cash refund approved the customer service was inconsistent and unhelpful, citing the change as only a 'minor time change'. I have doubts that the request was raised for approval as I never recieved email confirmation.
Effectively theft & we will be getting our money back through travel insurance.

Flew with these multiple times in the Philippines. Chaotic, crap and cheapy planes. Changed one of our flights without telling us to a 4 HOUR drive away from the original airport! We only realised when the sign changed to a different landing destination. I asked at customer services and they knew it had been changed for weeks, but notified no one. Another location they lost our luggage!! Flown over 500 times and this company is the worst ever. Hope it goes bankrupt!

Very poor customer service. I was asking for a seat map, but the agent said he can't help me because my email is wrong when in fact it is the very same email I used when I booked the tickets and I did receive the confirmation in that email.

Late Departure (just before the 4 hour compensation clause kicked in)
Booked on a flight from Manila to Buswanga. Arrived on time, checked in and passed through security. Everything seemed to be going on schedule as we were called to the gate as expected. That's when it all started to go wrong. The boarding time came with no announcement being made, then advised of a hours delays, 1 hour later drinks and snacks and advised a further 1 hour delay, checked if the plane was actually in Manila and advised it had arrived but there was a technical issue. Another hour passed and a free lunch was offered. The shop was mobbed! Anyway 15 mins before the 4 hours refund slot arrived boarding was announced. Yep announced, after 4 hours had passed we were still waiting to swipe the tickets and get on the bus to the aircraft. When we finally did get on the plane the seats allocated had a sign saying dont use them and were the most uncom6seats i"ve experienced. We took off, but only just made the landing slot cut off as there are no lights at Busanga on the runway. Plus the free wifi in Manila didnt work so we had issues re-arranging our pick up fro. The airport.
Total rip off
if there were zero stars they would get this. worst airline absolute scam artists- no refunds, no name change- total rip off. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM
