I Bought a iPhone case a month or so ago and within 3 weeks the section where the cards fit tore. I cannot use it . I have emailed numerous times with no reply!
These people need to be reported! I wish I had read the reviews before I purchase …

Terrible company - ordered a phone case in February- now mid April and nothing received. They do not respond to emails and have no phone number. Appears to be a scam company . Avoid!!!!

I need it noted that 1 star is well above what reflects my experience with this business, but is the lowest rating available. Please read my 1 star as a negative 5 as the cost and time that I have lost to this company essentially means I paid them to cause me grief
Thanks to the other reviewer who mentioned reporting this behaviour to the ACCC, I am currently doing the same. The ACCC only act on issues when enough complaints have been received, so if you've also been misled and are on the fence about whether to report your experience or not, know that there is power in numbers.
I wish I had researched this company prior to making my purchase as I can either confirm, or am not at all surprised by what others have posted here. I actually chose to deal with them as an Australian business knowing how so many are currently suffering. No good deed goes unpunished!
I have wasted the best part of the day negotiating first with their "Founder" and then "Team Case Buddy". The last one line response did not even have a sign off - super professional.
After providing photos of the product received, I was told that the product received was as described which is absolutely not the case. I'm guessing this an attempt at the old "admit nothing" tactic. The remedies offered were a small refund or to mail the cover back at my cost and then rely on their assurance that they will refund my money on receipt. The cover I would be mailing back would honestly be worth half of the postage cost. Of course I have no confidence that if I went to the time and trouble of returning the case that I would actually receive any refund as Case Buddy have a disclaimer about restocking fees and their determination of whether the case is in the condition it was mailed out in.
Like a lot of others, I experienced a massive delay in postage, especially unacceptable seeing as I had to pay for it (order was placed 6 March and received 5 April). A lot of businesses I have dealt with lately have at least been offering free postage. If that was the case, of course I would not be complaining.
So, the product I thought I was ordering based on what was shown on the website is miles away from what I received. I ordered a SmartView case for a Samsung which is metallic, shiny and considered a "smart case" in that you can have it display a different home page with summarised notifications etc when the front cover is closed. The description also said that the back cover was PU leather, meanwhile one of the product photos on the page actually calls it a "Stand Leather Cover".
What I received was a cheap non-metallic plastic case in a completely different colour and the shape that the phone clicks into at the back is chunky and not at all shaped like the curves shown on the website. The smartview, you learn on receipt is only available if you install an app of questionable origin on your phone for the smartview functionality to be available! Of course, the app is not mentioned on the sale page. Oh, and no holes on the cover for you to actually hear whoever you are on the phone to (also unlike the image on the website) so that would be a pleasure to use i'm sure.I know you won't be shocked to learn that the back cover was not PU leather at all, but some kind of cheap foam that truly looked like it had been cut out my some poor soul with a pair of scissors.
The piece de resistance, however was that in order for the front cover to stay closed (most smart cases achieve this with magnets) there is a big black sticky dot that you can see by looking at the phone screen with the "clear view" case on. Again, there's a photo on the website that is absolutely not possible to replicate with the case i received thanks to the massive black dot that is in the centre of the screen. If you have a film screen protector, not only will it be pulled up a bit by the gummy little thing, but also show the scar of the residue it leaves behind. I can't imagine for those who persevere with this cover out of desperation, how quickly dust and other substances accumulate on that sticker, leaving the user with a front cover that flaps about.
A quick Google reverse image search actually lead me to the Amazon listing that I am guessing the photos were originally listed on. 2 interesting findings there:
- The image that had "Leather Stand Case" written on it is used on the Amazon listing, but does not have that text on it; and
- The Amazon listing explains that the closure shown on the photos on the Case Buddy website should actually be a small clear suction cup on the edge of the screen, not a black gummy dot in the middle of your screen.

I just posted a 1 star review on the product page on the Case Buddy website and it is not visible! I refreshed my browser and still can't see it.

I am the owner of the mobile number (0402 8....) that Case Buddy lists as their contact number on numerous contact websites. I now get a stream of calls from irate customers demanding their money back. I have now found other different numbers that they have used on other sites, and presume that they are all fake. Buyer beware.

I bought a supposedly leather mobile case for $76 off their website. I was shipped a PU Leather cover that you can buy less than $25 in the High Streets. The company was totally not interested in discussing this. In fact they wanted to charge me a 15% restocking fee if I returned it! Be extremely careful when trying to deal with this company.

Customer service is practically non-existent and when they do respond to your emails they are rude and unhelpful.

Similar to all the reviews below - STAY AWAY!!! Despite paying extra for express shipping, 2 weeks and 5 attempts at email follow up later, no response AT ALL. Over $100 wasted. Have also referred matter to ACCC.

I bought a magnetic ipad cover and received the incorrect item. Have wrote to them three weeks ago and have received no reply, however I keep receiving emails asking if I was happy with my purchase so today I replied to that as well. We'll see

Ordered case on Dec 7 1921. Money taken from account two days later but no case in sight as of 18/1/22 - 6 weeks later. I have emailed 4 times for no reply. This has all the hallmarks of a scam. Do not touch this company.

Spent $180 on 3 items. Screen protector. Lens protector and case for galaxy s21 ultra. Paid for 3 day expedited shipping. THOUGHT WAS AUSSIE COMPANY AUSSIE SUPPLIER.... WRONG. Only contact details is a Victorian address. No mention of hong kong under delivery partners. Contacts or about us. did eventually find in terms and conditions, AFTER, I realised they were shonky. Says if no stock will come from hong kong but according to their site they had hundreds in stock.

3 different tracking numbers. First two started with AUS. so lens and screen protector were in one package, the case itself in another. I could find no tracking results on either of the AUS.... numbers. said invalid. Then one of the numbers changed and was recognised by auspost tracking. So lens and screen protector arrived. But no case ( the dearest item) which still had the seperate invalid number. Never arrived. Got a tracking email saying last if order delivered. Yet only had picture of two items in delivery.

I opened a PayPal dispute but notice they uploaded that one tracking number to PayPal. So it looks like all hot deluvered. THAT READS AS A SCAM. ... lucky I have proof were not sent together.
11 EMAILS IGNORED. I noticed a phone number on paypal. Tried to call but wasn't a business. LEFT a voice mail no reply. The tempered glass screen protector, $50 Fingerprint scanner won't work either. 13 tickets now and no reply. PayPal dispute now open.

ARRIVED A FEW DAYS AFTER PAYPAL CLAIM...... WHAT A WASTE. The $50 tempered glass screen protector ,( thought great as so much dearer than most) well ginger print sensor does not work. Three days after putting the protector on it slid off sideways. Without any bumps or drops, as it had to be put back in, cracked full length and width, both edges chipped. So have to depend another $60 SOMEWHERE ELSE.. THE CASE OMG... ITS THIN SILICONE RUBBISH. IT DOES NOT EVEN REACH THE SCREEN AT THE SIDES -LET ALONE HAVE A BUMBER. SO NEED ANOTHER CASE. IF IT DROPS IT WILL SMASH !!!! DONT DO IT !!!!

Absolutely disgraceful do not use this company. I placed an order 2 1/2 weeks before Christmas with express post apparently I paid for it anyway it is now Christmas Eve and haven’t received my item yet I have just been on the phone to Australia Post they tell me they didn’t pick the item up until the 20th disgraceful when the order was placed on the 10th. I have never had a worse experience in my life just being lied to every day I could see on the Australian Post website that it had not been picked up yet I kept asking them and asking them and they never ever once gave me an answer to that question just danced around the excuse of Covid that’s not what I was asking I hope nobody buys from this website again and they go broke absolutely disgusted my mother now does not have a Christmas present to open on Christmas Day.

They would would not refund unti I threatened to raise with PayPal and they also charged a15% fulfilment free which is not part of their refund policy
They also claim to be an Australian but everything is shipped from China

Looking for a case for my Galaxy Fold 3 and came across Casebuddy and the case that I wanted for $90. I am glad that I looked up reviews first. They definitely drop ship, because I found the EXACT same case for $18 on AliExpress! Don't use Casebuddy!

All other recent reviews are correct; these guys are Asian drop-shippers from Chullora NSW. Don't be fooled by their website listing Dromana VIC as their location.
Total rip off for what you pay for. I was one of the lucky ones to receive my case, but the $5.95 'Priority Handling' charge is an absolute toss!

Worst experience ever. It's been 3 weeks since I ordered the case for a Samsung fold 3. I haven't received anything. According to the tracking number the case was with Australia post. I called Australia post and provided the tracking number. They told me the tracking number is not valid. I contacted the company again and they send me the same tracking number ?!?!
I don't think I will receive anything. And from what I read from the other reviews there is no way I am getting a refund. Very very disappointed.

This is a fraud shop. Pretending to be australian seller they are actually from Asia. So expect shipments to be done in months.
Secondly they take 20-30 AUD cases and sell them as 90-100 AUD cases. I bought a case from them, which when arrived was a cheap case from AliExpress. Different from what their website was advertising.

DO NOT BUY from this shop.

When tried to open a dispute they refused full refund and told me I have to send item to them at my own cost. Also you pay for delivery to you. So both way of delivery costs same as the same case from AliExpress + free shipment!

Wrote a compaint to NSW Fair Trading.

Brought and iPad case keyboard and screen cover. 4 weeks later despite paying extra for express postage I have not received anything. Casebudy had given me the complete run around and refuse to refund. Do not buy from these people.

Item ordered took nearly 4 weeks to arrive I don’t believe they are Australian at all as the cases I ordered come from China and the cases are useless they offer very little protection for the large sum paid all I can say is buyer beware

CaseBuddy sent me the wrong item despite the invoice showing the correct one. Not responding to emails or messages. Resolved it through a PayPal complaint, after having to fork out nearly 10 bucks to return the wrong item they sent me. I did get a refund eventually, through PayPal but never got the item I wanted and still lost ten bucks. Terrible service.

Ordered two iPad cases, and only one was in the parcel. Of course, the delivery status indicates delivered, but both items were not in the package. No response to query for either a refund of one case or to send the missing one.
