In March my car was written off, I sent car track an email to ask what I need to do. I received no response, I then emailed them again 2 weeks later. It's the first time I've had a vehicle written off so I did not know all the procedures from car track. A few months later someone called to say they need to recover the tracking unit. By this time my vehicle was at a scrap yard in the middle of nowhere. Then they said i must just pay for a new unit to be installed. I decided that it was not my place to pay for all the inconvenience after they didn't bother to get back to me initially. I then asked if they could reduce my monthly fees as I was unable to use their "services " , they said yes but then the 3 year contract would start from scratch. When I asked to cancel they gave me a settlement fee that was equal to the balance of the contract. They are absolutely terrible to deal with, the staff are unhelpful and there is no help offered. Eventually they just debited my account for the cancellation fee even though I had put a stop on their debit order. A cancellation fee should be reasonable, not the full balance without anything in return.

Very poor communication. I scheduled an appointment for today, took a day off for the fitment . I did not receive an sms called numerous times and did not receive any tangible response. What about my time and airtime used to call yet there is an appointment. Total rubbish. I swear. I called and wasted my time, was put on hold by Precious until I ran out of airtime. Did she call back no. Poor communication and poor customer service.

I have a unit installed at the dealer. Not my choice of tracker. Had to call 4 times only to be told I need to go from midrand to randburg to have the unit removed. What a waste of customer service hence I do not use this tracking company!

Very poor service. I reported a low battery signal last week. The lady told me that scheduling department would phone to schedule a repair. Today I phoned to follow up as noboby contacted me. To my suprise I was told that the call was not logged and that it was going to be logged today for repairs to be validate. The lady could not tell me when this will happen in the meantime I have to struggle with a flat battery every morning.

So, after Cartrack finally decided to listen to the voice logged call, having asked them to do so for close on four months, without resolve, and paying for a service which was by all accounts redundant, given that the unit I asked to de-install from my old car and re-install into my new car had not happened, they conceded that I indeed had a month to month contract and not a three year contract. This was brought about by their social media dept contacting me to address the issues raised in my earlier social media expose. They also accepted my cancelation and sent me correspondence to the effect. They now feel it necessary to constantly harass me telephonically, as well as text and email, begging and demanding me to pay R 109 which they deem to be owing. I have explained to them that I don't owe them anything and that they in essence owe me and warned them that I shall expose them on social media but they are relentless.
Cartrack I have the stomach and the stamina to go the distance, bring it on guys. Sue me for the R 109. Watch this space.

I am very disappointed. Actually the word "disappointed" is not even relevant enough to describe how i felt after being helped by a consultant by the name of Mpho Mkhabela at cartrack. That lady was so rude to the core. I ended up asking her to transfer me to another consultant because Wow! I couldn't take it anymore!

I am extremely disappointed with the service from Car Track. After 1.5 years of having the device, I received a call informing me that it was faulty and that I would need to pay a R600 call-out fee for repairs. While my contract supposedly includes one free call-out, this was already used within the first week due to the device triggering every time my car turned off. When I phoned Car Track to get clarity, I was redirected over 10 times before finally speaking to the right department, who then confirmed that the device is working and even reflected properly on my mobile app. However, no one was able to provide me with a statement to verify this for insurance purposes. This has been a frustrating experience, and the service has been subpar since day one.
