Extremely poor service and lack of


Extremely poor service and lack of communication.
Our account has been suspended for over a month despite all outstanding payments being made in full on 5 December. Since then, we have received no response to multiple calls and emails requesting assistance or clarification.

What makes the situation worse is that monthly fees continue to be deducted, even though the account remains suspended and no service is being provided. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

A total lack of communication, no accountability, and continued billing without service rendered. We expected far better service and transparency.

I will never recommend anyone to use


I will never recommend anyone to use cartracker because the service is got was very bad, I bought a car 2017 april and the unit was installed and they have been debiting nicely so then 2025 September my car was stolen and is never recovered till today when I logged in the claim i was told they won't pay me because the unit was not tested every 3 months ..who must test the unit? And when you debit money from my account you didn't have any problem..its very wrong what your doing to your customers

Extreamly Bad Experiance and service

I have bought a car during November 2025, there was a unit in the car and was told to transfer the account to me. I was then sent a what's app telling me they double debited my account they will pay it back, then they paid back a d then said I didn't pay them and debit failed. Then the very next morning recieved a call on the 4th Dec 2025, telling me they handing me over to their lawyers. What the hell is going on at this company?

No customer service at all

No customer service at all. They keep on debitting your account numerous times in a month. Premiums increase with no written concent. They don't respond to e-mails. App and whatsapp system is not affective. Real challenge to cancel this tracker which I have to pay for even when I am in credit. Unethical and the most useless tracking company ever! If this is how you treat clients, what makes you think I'll have faith in you to recover my vehicle or paying out claims should there be any.
You will have the same Unethical, non responsive service you have now. Highly not recommended.

I have been with cartrack since 2016

I have been with cartrack since 2016, but during the past few month of 2025 cartrack and their consultant are giving me headache, they failed to honor their agreement in regards with debiting my account , then the whole office with start calling you , what system are you using that you can not update that this client have been called instead of flooding my phone with your calls. you tell them to debit your account on a certain date they do that and after they decided on their own to debit your account twice during the given date and their own date that they selected.jikijiki they will tell you that you owe them. i am really tired cartrack of this issue

Car Track is a Scam and they will loot you.

Sibusisi Mulaniyo basically told me they are stealing my money and never refunding

I had an arrangement with Car Track and the debit was R3OO, but they would consistently debit more to the amount of R850 3 times a month. Then they'd say the were no arrangements made. This company is a scam. Stay away from these people. I use Tracker and C track, they are great and don't affect my credit record badly and they are honest and stick to the arranged amounts.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT GOOD PRODUCT

Product is good but cant say the same about the service from my account manager. I sold a vehicle and told her to send documentation for change of ownership. she sent through wrong documentation twice even after i told her I'm selling to individual and not a business. Till this day I'm being debited for a vehicle no longer in my possession and there is no accountability for the mistake or anything being done to remedy the issue.

Unorganised, poor service and accounts

Absolutely POOR service from this company. Do you think their customer service is proficient? Definitely a big NO. I called in to query a billing issue as they deducted additional monthly premium for the same unit that I paid upfront for. I confirmed my details with the 1st client services person who then was supposed to transfer me to the accounts team to resolve. this did not happen and i ended up with a second call center guy whom I had to confirm my again. Then the phone gets disconnected and I had to phone again and repeat the verification once again. This time they managed to put me through to their accounts team which was not at all helpful and the lady said she was going to call her manager to assist. then the call was placed on hold and I was transfered to yet another call agent which i had to verify details and explain everything over again. This time I just had enough. I had 3 vehicles which contracts matured and I just cancelled their services. I will move over to another tracking company. They are unorganised and unprofessional. I dont want to be affiliated with people like this to track my vehicle.

Very possibly the worsts service i have


Very possibly the worsts service i have ever seen from a company. How can you trust your vehicles tracking to a company that are so incompetent and rude. Thier admin is a joke. They are trying to blacklist me because I refuse to pay for equipment that was never recieved. On top of that their tracking device was installed so badly that it damaged my car radio. It worked for less than 24 hours. It has not worked since.
They are trying to charge me for a service that never worked and for equipment never recieved. They supplied the wrong equipment without the dash cam etc.

There is no way to get assistance on this. Managers refuse to use emails? Yet I receive up to 20 calls a day. Each call is demanding money for the above and when no explain the issue they promise to escalate to a manager. Never happens but the calls keep coming and each time there is no reference to the last calls and my issues.

If i can give car track a 0 star i would ... thy install a tracker i was in a accedent with the car ..i wrote the car of ...im in a binding contrack i payed it in full until contrack exspire i cancel my contract like 3 times but stil they deduct monney and customer care is useless ... im finished with car track ...now i must get a new account and place all my debit orders over .. car scammers is bs .f u car track

The worst service provider ever scammers !

The worst service provider ever. They are scammers and incompetent people. Liars and no accountability at all. They took money from my account after over charging me and made me pay an incorrect account. I spoke to their client service lady and she apologise told me she will rectify my account but not. So today I’m taking them to the Omudsman, let’s see how they take that! Shit tracker company!!

Worse car tracker I have ever seen very rude and unprofessional both on watsapp and emails, if they see that they can't help you they just bighorn your watsapp. Bit if you can miss payment they will send all kinds of emails. I an really tired of cartrack I can't deal with people that don't take me serious only after the money I am paying. They are very rude and unprofessional I will never refer any1 ever I am looking for new tracking company.

SHAMEFUL, IRRESPONSIBLE, UNRESPONSIVE — STAY AWAY FROM CARTRACK PORTUGAL



Cartrack Portugal is one of the most irresponsible, evasive, and disrespectful companies I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

Throughout 2024 and 2025, I repeatedly requested the legally required invoices, and what I received were empty emails claiming “invoice attached” — but with no attachment at all. This happened on June 5 and 6, 2025, and had already been happening since the previous year.

When I confronted the company via email, they ignored me for weeks. And when they finally responded, they even had the nerve to lie and claim they “never received any email from me” — a blatant lie, which I can prove with documented evidence.

On June 5, 2025, I sent a formal contract cancellation request due to serious breach. On July 1, 2025, I also submitted the official declaration of business closure, effective as of June 30. And still, they continued to ignore everything, as if nothing had happened.

I have kept all the evidence — emails, documents, and ignored contact attempts. The company’s attitude shows a complete lack of professionalism, seriousness, and ethics.

Cartrack provides no service — they just ignore, deceive, and pretend nothing is happening.
I do not recommend them to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

Business Owners & Corporates BEWARE!

We have not used cartrack in our Business since 2020 - however they keep setting up unauthorised debits on our Business Bank account of R1000.00 every week. We have contacted their Legal team and it stopped as they had setup a debit for any amount from R0.00 to R1million! (they also have access to our Business Account Balance - how this is possible is shocking). We sent legal letters to their appointed Attorney, however again 3 x unauthorised debits of R1000.00 every week without any authorisation from our Company have once again been setup. When we request the signed contracts Cartrack ignore us. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS ACCOUNT DETAILS. We have now appointed an Attorney to take legal action against CarTrack and we believe this is happening to many Corporate Clients. FNB has also been made aware of this situation.

This number contacted me and said they are from Cartrack +27873305528;
however, they refused to tell me in connection with what the call is about and wanted my ID number and personal information. When I refused to give my personal information, the caller just ended the call. Was this person really from Cartrack and if so, she was utterly unprofessional and rude. What a disgrace and poor service on the side of Cartrack. If I could rate this service, it would be -10 and not even 0.

If I could give a negitive star rating


If I could give a negitive star rating I would.

Installation was booked and nobody pitched.

1st reason was they did jot have enough parts.
2nd reason was the technician was not on duty that day.

So warning, no info given that they would not pitch.

After 6 phone calls requesting for a manger or management to call me and still no call.

I am completely disappointed and will take business somewhere else.

Misleading and on the verge of scam

Unfortunately and, after reading the other reviews from other users, I came to confirm that this not what I expected.
From many offers I received from other companies of tracking devices, this one from Car Track was the most appealing, due to price competitiveness, good communication at first that included quick response every time I requested information.
It seems like right after the contract was signed, everyone stopped answering emails and calling. Not 2 months within using their services, Car Track has no stopped replying my emails and are not keen on fixing the broken devices they have installed in my van. I have 8 minivans and I am concerned this will happen with all. I hired their service to be able to control and track my fleet, but unfortunately, I am not able to do so. Now, I am stuck with Car Track for 3 years (which I agreed to the fidelization period) and am extremely disappointed that after requesting help for 20 days, no one has contacted me with a date to make the necessary intervention.
Since my company is located in Madeira Island, Car track has to subcontract a company to fiz the devices and so, its taking desperately long. I even got in contact with the company that firstly installed the devices, and unfortunately, they have confirmed that no request was made yet (so the company that works in Madeira, even if they want to help, they cannot, because a request has to be generated first by Car Track.
I was contacted by the Financial department that accepted to refund the amount paid for the devices that are malfunctioning, but the point is to have the devices working correctly (which is why I hired this service in the first place).
I wish I have come here first to read all about other peoples experience, before I hired Car Track. It might be the cheapest service available, but customer service and final product is not worth.
In addition, I am constantly being contact by the 24hour support about the drainage of the battery in the vans, however, all have battery and so, its very confusing and dramatic to receive this information, almost daily (different vehicles).
Anyone looking into hiring Car Track, I advice NOT DO HIRE THEM!
