Beware of this FRAUD operation
I ordered a pair of Converse leather platform sneakers from their website. What showed up was not Converse brand but a cheap counterfeit, and was not leather but synthetic canvas poorly put together. I asked the company for a return and they asked me to send them photos of the shoes, which I did. They then sent a note saying that because my return is categorized as “customer change of mind” that I must pay for the return shipping to china and that I would get a partial credit. The shoes cost $64. Shipping to china would cost me $35. And I’d get a 50% refund of my $64. Outrageous! I sent my credit card company the pictures and the series of emails from the company and the credit card company fully refunded my $64. Stay as far away from this disgusting business as you can!

I purchased a swimsuit from this company, believing it would be coming from North Carolina. When the item was finally shipped and I tracked it, I saw that it was coming from China! When I finally received it, I was disappointed to find a swimsuit made with thin, flimsy material. I will never purchase another item from this company.

SCAMMER ALERT!!! Carol and Margaret Wilmington in South Carolina is actually a merchant in China posing as an American based company. My experience has been eye opening to say the least. This company has beautiful clothing on their website and offers discounts if you buy more than one item. I ordered 5 linen dresses, I got 1 wash and shrunken cotton dress that was XS and did not resemble the Lenox linen button down layered hem dress I ordered. The other 4 dresses I received were not linen or even linen blends. They were cheap polyester dresses that did not come close to the pictures on their website and poorly constructed. It gets worse. I emailed them about a return and their stipulation on only using the delivery service that delivered the package is the final nail. The delivery service is GoFo Express. When I called to find out their hours of operation, I was greeted by a very polite AI customer service representative that repeated the same script while letting you know their agents may not be available to assist. When I looked up the address it was listed as a vacant lot and a very large parking lot for sale. So there is no refund and I am stuck with some clothes I would not even give to charity. DON’T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

Do not buy from this site. What they say on their website is not true. Things come from China not Wilmington. Returning is a hassle, not “no questions” and It took me 6 email exchanges to get a form to return the items. Clothes were faded and cheap. If they have a “warehouse in Wilmington” then why do returns go to China?? Please save yourself some headaches!!!

Poor quality, color, sizing and unreasonable return costs
I ordered a dress one size larger as they recommended. It was too big. Also the color was not the same as on the website and the “linen” was quite thin. When I tried to return it it had to be sent back not to Wilmington, NC but to China. I was responsible for shipping / tracking costs and they were higher than the original cost of the dress!! Would not recommend this company to anyone!

Carol & Margaret - Not from N Carolina
The company goes by Carol & Margaret North Carolina. I ordered a dress advertised as Daisy Women's Cotton Ditsy. The description said (and still does) that it is made from 100% lightweight cotton. When the dress arrived, it was made from 100% polyester. I sent them an email on May 28th telling them about inaccurate description on their website and asked for an address to return the item. After several back and forth emails, I finally received an email with a return address located in China. This is a company that pretends to be a North Carolina co. After all the struggles just to get an address for me to send the product back, I decided to donate the dress rather than take a chance on spending more money on shipping and relying on them to get in within the 30 day time frame they claim to accept a return, and, to trust them to say that they actually did receive it. They never addressed the fact that the dress was advertsied as something it was not, cotton. The workmanship on the polyester dress was the most cheaply made I have ever seen.

I paid $60 for a dress that was so flimsy, a more appropriate price should have been $5. I returned it but have not received a refund despite several attempts at contacting customer service. They eventually responded and kept asking for tracking, which I supplied. I do not recommend their product.

I ordered 2 dresses that were advertised online as great for "mature" women. The material was cheap, but most importantly they did not fit. Body way too large and arms way too tight. As stated on the their homepage, I had 30 days "no questions asked, no hassle, your happiness matters to us". I reached out the day after I received them (which was 18 days after the order was placed. Why so long? Because the clothes are not being shipped from Wilmington, but China) I asked for return shipping instructions. Finally after my 3rd request they sent shipping instructions back to CHINA...not North Carolina! The shipping fees will cost as much as the dresses to return. Do NOT order anything from this company! I wish I had read the reviews initially before my order was placed.

There's an address in Wilmington, But when you look closely, it's a WAREHOUSE address, which is at a mall--the store doesn't appear to exist.

It was over a month. BECAUSE THE ITEMS ALL CAME FROM CHINA.

Buyer beware: false advertising, deceptive business practices
This is a total scam. They are NOT based in Wilmington, NC, they are in China. Dress I ordered was not cotton as advertised, it was polyester/spandex. It was the wrong size. Dress had no brand label, and no tags. When I contacted them for return/refund, they balked at the reason I wanted to return it, saying they don't offer refunds for "changing my mind". I insisted on a return form, but it took several emails to receive one. Their return form listed conditions that were impossible to fulfill, such as return item had to have original tags, and I had to use the same carrier they used to ship it to me. There was no way to tell who their carrier was, and it was probably based in China! THIS IS A BUYER BEWARE situation. A total fraud, complete with false advertising and other deceptive business practices.

This company is a total sham. The fabrics were identified fraudulently as linen and cotton, but were cheap, shiny polyester stamped fabrics. The website makes it appear to be a mom and pop operation out of North Carolina but it is actually a Chinese company. They advertise 30 day money back guarantee no questions asked, but when I tried to return the garments, I was told I would have to pay for return shipping to China. Do not buy from this company.
