Hi Gary, your repayment was sent on time, you called us on 27th July and was advised it would be with you on either Thursday or Friday. The payment was made by bank transfer on Wednesday 28th July. Perhaps your bank took longer to process the BACS payment. I hope you are enjoying the tax rebate.

Process was nice and easy
Process was nice and easy, Staff rang multiple times throughout to update me and help if needed. Decent portion of the rebate is lost in end but still better than nothing !

Hello Vilma, we're very disappointed to read this review as our fees were explained very clearly to you at the start of the claim process.
Our fees of 40% are explained in our Terms of Service which when you submitted your application on our website on 9th April, you were confirming you were in agreement with. We then also verbally disclosed these over the phone with you on 26th April, to which you confirmed you were happy to proceed. If you were unhappy with the fees we charged this should have been expressed then.
We work on a contingency fee basis (a fee based on a percentage of gross refund recovered) rather than a fixed cost, as we believe it’s incredibly important to allow as many Care Workers as possible to access the services of a professional accounting firm to handle their tax affairs. This is a comprehensive process which involves gathering data from a number of sources and subjecting the information to a series of rigorous checks to ensure complete accuracy in your final claim submission. This involves a significant amount of work, so we do feel our fees are competitive and fair.
