They are scammers with their credit model. I bought the Max plan, and they never mentioned they would change it from unlimited to using credits. Do not buy this app because you will regret it.

You can only use the AI Zoom feature on IOS but I needed it on Mac or Desktop. The pricing page on the DESKTOP showed what was possible on each plan, not the platform you had to edit it on to be able to access the feature.

So basically all the features are not available for full sized YouTube format videos and only on the mobile app but it was purposefully misleading given the plans page on the desktop showed all the various platforms the software is available. It's all hidden in the fine print. DON"T BUY!!

I wish I could give zero stars. They charged me for the Pro version on my desktop, but it still gives me “Inactive Subscription” and no way to export videos without having to pay AGAIN.
Support stopped responding after I sent them screenshots. Feels like a scam.

The app charges customers but it is full of bugs. Desktop app is worst.

I had the displeasure of interacting with the customer service of this company, and the experience was truly frustrating. It is evident that the system is still full of bugs, but this is not the real problem. The real issue lies in the mentality of these new generations, who seem to live life as if it were an algorithm. They are cold, arrogant, and condescending.

The service itself is not bad - it has potential and can certainly be improved. However, the mindset of the people running it needs a drastic change. The problem is not the AI; it is the humans behind it. Until they adopt a more respectful and understanding approach, the service will continue to suffer.

What a sadness indeed.

Using the desktop version because I don't know anybody who wants to edit tons of videos on phone instead of big monitors. Anyways, desktop version is apparantly newly released, and it has bugs. Last word in your caption will often remain forever so its stuck on the screen no matter what. Its around 50-50 chance if this happens or not. They are aware but dont know when it will be fixed. If you are looking for a captioning software like this i would not use this right now because the program does not work. Once they fix the bugs and prioritze the desktop version a bit more instead of phone it will be a good software. But right now as of this date i do not recommend as it has bugs.

Après avoir pris l’essai gratuit j’ai directement résilier l’abonnement pour ne pas être prélevées. SAUF QUE je vois qu’ils m’ont quand même prélevée 11€99 !! Grosse arnaque l’essai gratuit n’a rien de gratuit à partir du moment où ils ont vos coordonnées bancaires ils ne se gêneront pas pour taper vos thunes. En + de ça c’est pas pratique d’utilisation. Je vous conseille VEED CAPTIONS.

Rather unsatisfactory. First of all, the subtitles are quite off. Second, the editing is quite tedious and doesn't work properly. I paid for a month just to try it out (surprise, surprise, after spending quite some time editing your video, they will pop you up for payment before downloading. How nice of them to purposefully insert the payment right at the end of your work, and not let you know at the start about it) but after some time working with it I just gave up.

The app is great for captions, but the current versions for mac are FULL of lags. The edits you make to projects are never saved (export it or lose it), exporting options are very limited and I just got a prompt to "pay for a subscription" WHILE HAVING a valid 1-year subscription plan.
This prompt of course deleted my 30min edit...
They started charging subscriptions for an app that is still far from a finished product. It's a shame.

Более того, для небольших предприятий или фрилансеров цены могут показаться высокими.

И хотя в целом интерфейс сервиса довольно удобен, его производительность иногда оставляет желать лучшего, особенно при обработке объемных видеофайлов. Поддержка клиентов, несмотря на свою отзывчивость, могла бы предлагать более конкретные решения на сложные запросы.

Суммируя, можно сказать, что captions.ai представляет существенную ценность для специалистов по видео, однако определенные аспекты, такие как точность распознавания, стабильность работы и понятность ценообразования, требуют доработки для расширения их пользовательской базы.

This application saves a ton of time by giving accurate English captions on my Instagram reels and YouTube shorts. The captions are accurate 99% of time and I didn't find a need many times to edit the generated captions. Keep up the great work. I took a 1 year subscription last month.

An sich ist die App sehr praktisch, allerdings habe ich eine Frage zur Anwendung, weil die Zeilenumbrüche nicht so angeordnet werden, wie ich es gerne hätte. Ich habe daraufhin gestern dem Chat Support geschrieben und sollte ein Video des Problems schicken. Nachdem ich das Video geschickt habe, hat mir dann aber niemand mehr geantwortet... An sich ist die App recht gut, aber geholfen wir einem bei Problemen hier nicht!
