Site advised Canvas Champ NZ. At time of payment it was not in NZD, paid priority postage, item arrived late and crumpled. Would not recommend

Not a NZ company so a lot of patience is required to communicate issues however they did resolve these issues.

I spent hours preparing 2 photo books, I went to finalise and order them a week or so later - one was 'lost' due to technical glitch. I got a "sorry, but please redo it". No discount offered or incentive to continue with them. Also the 'call centre' person struggled to understand English and it was frustrating trying to get her to i understand the issue. I will avoid them now.

I give only two stars despite the easy ordering and good quality of print (ordered 22July and delivered as promised on 28 August). They use Fedex deliveries and that was one problem as their tracking system is useless, but the delivery did eventually happen on time. The frame that the canvas is stretched over had a vertical timber strut down the centre at the back of the frame and this had been glued to the canvas, something that should NEVER happen. It created a shiny line down the centre of the picture. I had to use a razor to gently prize the canvas away from the timber strut, then pack between strut and canvas with soft padding and steam iron over damp cotton padding on the front of the print until the line disappeared. Fortunately it did work, but it could have been a disaster and I should not have had to do this. I emailed Canvas Champ and explained everything as above, including information on why canvas should never be glued to timber. I did receive an email apologising and confirming it was a problem and they would talk to the people in India about it. So, expecting they would let me know the outcome and that it would never happen again if I ordered another print, I was disappointed that they never even got back to me. Consequently, I won't be ordering anything else from Canvas Champ.

The price was so cheap I had to give them a go. I ordered three square canvases. The website was easy to use and the communication was fine. The production and delivery was very slow. This was because it was coming from China, I thought it was an NZ company! The quality of the print was adequate BUT the canvas frame on all three was warped and did not sit straight against the wall as expected. This was disappointing and so the pictures do not hang correctly.

Ordered a puzzle. Quality was extremly poor. Presentation box was all torn, puzzle was in a zip lock luch bag. Not 'love at first sight' as was advertised.
Emailed them every day for 2 weeks. Eventually they agreed to a refund which I have never received.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

Ordered a puzzle with a picture accompanying it.
Received a beat up box, and inside was a zip lock bag with puzzle pieces. The pieces REEK of cologne and I get migraines from strong scents 😞
On top of it, no picture-so not helpful.

Complete scam. Puzzle arrived with missing pieces and a picture so dark you can’t see it. They say they are Nz company but they are in India.

Ordered 5 metal Xmas photo baubles. Complete garage quality. They shouldn't be in business. The writing on the photo is such low quality as well as the photos themselves..sharp edges with chips missing and scratchings all over the face of the product. Customer service number is terrible..you wait 15mins then get put through to answer phone.

Everything was awful - the quality, the communication, the product, the process, the shipping, etc. I ordered custom stand but what arrived was a cardboard cut out that wouldn't even stand. I paid for priority shipping and I was meant to receive the product within 2 days, but instead it took about 3 weeks. They claim to be Nz based but the product was shipping I believe from India. Their communication was robotic (probably chat gpt) and they weren't responses to my questions. I requested a refund for the priority shipping, they promised a refund but I didn't get that either. This was complete waste of my time, money and energy.

Biggest scam. Paid $175 for the 3D Crystal cube and it's just a flat picture put in the cube that I can hardly see. Horrible quality. Very disappointed as I wanted to gift it to my mother for Mother's Day. Wish I'd read the reviews before purchasing.

Worst. The pics were damage and no refund. Really poor picture quality too. Don't waste your money

Four stars due to being misled that this company is based in New Zealand while it definitely operates out of India.

Printed canvas was of excellent quality, packaged very well and delivered early.

Ordered photo moon lamp .. cheap and nasty ... shows wooden stand in the promo but photo came with cheap cheap plastic stand..
Absolute rubbish.. cheap and nasty.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE.

First delivery was shocking, each of the pictures in a split picture was faulty. Nails showing through and creases on one of the pictures.
I thought they must have been done by a trainee, and no quality control at all. After a bit of backwards and fowards canvaschamp agreed to redo the picture, and they were OK 2nd time around.

I ordered personalised playing cards and they were perfect!
Great quality and the picture I had chosen was placed beautifully on each card.
They were also extremely well packaged for shipping to prevent any damage in transit.

I apologise for the caps,BUT DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS. THEY ARE NOT IN NEW ZEALAND. THEY WILL LIE THAT THEY ARE US BASED AS WELL. ITS IN INDIA. NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT, BUT THE LIES JUST MOUNT UP. I ORDERED PERSONALISED PLAYING CARDS. THINKING A MONTH IS COOL FOR A NZ ORDER, I WAS SHOCKED AT IT BEING IN IMDIA. I WAS ASSURED IT WUD GET HERE BY THE DATE( end if jan) NOT SO. IT ARRIVES AND THE MORONS HAVE PUT THE WRONG IMAGE ON IT. THERE WAS AN IMAGE ATTACHED THAT ACCIDENTALLY WENT THRU BUT I CONTACTED THEM WITHIN-SECONDS TO NOT USE THAT, BUT GUESS WHAT, THEY DID. I WAS TOLD A PROOF WUD BE SENT, BUT GUESS WHAT, NO PROOF WAS SENT, WHEN I ASKED WHEN THE PROOF WAS COMING, OH WE DONT SEND PROOFS!!! FOR A PRINTING JOB, IS THAT NOT RIDICULOUS! NEVER EVER TRUST THESE MOFOS AGAIN.

I had a problem with a delay in the delivery and the print itself was damaged when it arrived. The company responded to me promptly. They offered to redo the order at no cost or provide a full refund.
I was happy with the outcome.

Misleading website and information printing is not done in New Zealand at all. I have very little faith and have requested order to be cancelled immediately. Will remove review once transaction has been finalized.

Quite unbelievable... Placed an order over two weeks in advance, no word.
On enquiring by email, no response.
Followed up the next day with a phone call; the business is actually run out of India, not NZ! The representative advised he would follow up my order and if it were not in progress would discount and refund 25% for both orders I placed. Okay, that’s great I thought. But as I explained to him, I still need to know when these orders are expected to be completed and delivered as they were gifts (very late gifts now!)
He advised to call back up to 48 hours later if I didn’t receive updated order details. I phoned 48 hours later and I enquired again, he said the orders hadn’t been started still!
I asked for a full refund.
He said he would check with his manager and l would need to call back in 24 hours to give him time to correspond.
12 hours later a refund for both orders was provided, but short by about $4 for each order...
So, after a complete muck around, no gifts for my loved ones, having to chase this company for details and down approx $8, I would say I’ll never use this lot again!
