CanSpace has been exceptional! Having trouble coming from a previous web host and getting set up, the team was extremely patient with me, answered all of my questions and walked me through each step of the process. I now have multiple sites published and running! I am grateful for this team, they have been very responsive, quick to get back and always helpful. What a difference!

Guy and Jose are the two tech support agents who've helped me immensely this past week, getting my two domains transferred back to CanSpace and a custom email set up. I had a problem with my email and even though CanSpace isn't hosting it (but is are where I purchased my domains), they were able to help walk me through the process. Excellent customer service that you definitely don't see these days, especially from an online business like this.

Having worked previously in customer support for a domain registrar I know from experience how busy a support system can be and I'm blown away but the quick ticket turn around and the friendly, professional response from the support team. A+++ service

Absolute garbage.

I moved my domain over to CanSpace in an effort to "buy Canadian" with all of the political BS south of the border and abandoned Namecheap as my registrar. One week after the transfer, my email stopped working. Did exhaustive research and everything is correctly configured with MX records through to DKIM, SPF and DMARC. And I am using Canspace's default DNS servers.

They said the problem was that the TXT file for verification was not there, and even though I got the original verification record for ownership out of the bowels of Google and added it to my DNS settings, I am still having the problem. And now they are trying to sell me a service to configure the DNS for me, when it's already configured? The knowledge base is completely useless - a grand total of 35 articles for people to attempt to support themselves.

I have done EXACTLY that they indicated from a support POV for troubleshooting, it hasn't worked and they have stopped responding to my ticket.

Thanks for encouraging me to go back to Namecheap. @$$hats.

CanSpace replied to one of the reviews in 2022 by saying "Thanks for your feedback. We realize it is more convenient for clients to manage their own glue records and DNSSEC records so we do fully intend to add this functionality into the next iteration of our client area, which is due in 6-8 weeks."

It's 2025, DNSSEC toggle is still not available via self-service. Oh, and their own site was down last week. Cloudflare was serving the cached version.

Have been using canSpace.ca since 2022 for a .ca domain. Have been happy with them. Will now start using them for my .com domains.

Unreliable. I'll be moving to a different webhosting service provider as this company keep changing their website builder and if you have made your website using their Sidpad you'll no longer be able to access your pages and you have to build a new one using their new Sitejet templates. Hours of work customizing my website and updating its content will be lost because they are no longer supporting Sidepad. I'm very annoyed.

Update: replying to Canspace's reply to my review.
Every time I try to login to Sidepad I get a licencing error. I opened a few tickets because of it and every time I was told that I have 2 months to migrate to Sitejet.

I have used CanSpace for my domains and website hosting for years and have never had an issue. Their support staff are quick to help and always friendly. Thanks for always being there, CanSpace!

I've been hosting multiple sites for multiple clients with CanSpace for many years now. Tech Support has never once been anything less than professional, immediate, and practical. Huge fan, highly recommend.

I have been a CanSpace client for a couple years. Started on a shared server but recently moved up to a dedicated server hosting multiple sites. The tech support team has been awesome. They are responsive and always get the issue resolved. Thanks guys!

I've had my small websites on Canspace for years now, and have only good things to report. I'm on the medium level, and their support is almost blindingly fast and generally very high quality.

In the past I had some major problems with "cheap" hosting providers trying to upsell me by forcibly shutting down my site for alleged over-use of resources. I moved my sites to Canspace, and the same sites have never caused any such issues. Indeed, one time I was in fact over-using resources, and Canspace helped me figure out what was going wrong on my site and we solved the problem within a day. No extra charges!

Since I have a little public profile, I've had occasion to personally recommend Canspace to probably 200 small website managers over the past five years who were facing similar website shut-downs and bogus upselling efforts from cheap hosting providers, and not a single person has ever written back to me to complain.

I've been coaxing computers to do what I need them to do since 1978 and can say with confidence that the fine and friendly folks at CanSpace know exactly what they're doing. It's good to know that your host is educated and experienced because your host is a mission-critical part of your online world. You can rely on and trust these people. And they're 100% Canadian as far as I can tell, which is important to me.

I have used CanSpace for years to host and build my website. Their service has been excellent!
Especially during my latest site re-design which needed a temporary workspace to build and test the new site, and then migrating it over to become "live" only happened with their assistance.
I oopsied a couple of times, and Guy H. was able to find where links/indexes had to be adjusted, and now everything is working perfectly.
He was very patient, and guided me through the process of having my new site replace the old one.
