My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening with the Northern String Quartet. We wish it had been for 90 minutes instead of 60. We loved their interaction and truly magical talents.

The venue was beautiful but wondered since it wasn’t tiered whether it would have been better to set it out in a curved aspect rather than rows to give everyone a more balanced view. Apart from people needing the toilet every 5 minutes we had a marvellous time and will definitely return. All staff were courteous and friendly and the bar was an added bonus. Thank you

Ambiance chaleureuse, proximité discrète avec le Quatuor. Musiciens excellents.
Dommage que quelques spectateurs n'ont pas respecté l'interdiction du téléphone car cela gène considérablement l'expérience, il y a eu des tensions dans notre rang et cela a gâché le moment. C'est pourquoi pour vos prochaines représentations insistez bien sur le fait que tous les tél doivent être coupés et rangés, et cela même pour votre dernier morceaux!

They charge a large fee on top of the tickets and you can not buy tickets at the door to avoid this fee so the ticket price is misinformation bc you can not get a ticket for that price.

We didn’t enjoy the performance at the Durham Cathedral as It was more of a Gospel approach of celebrating Prince. The group just didn’t live up to what I was expecting especially after forking out £80 for a pair of tickets. Prince had energy, dance, movement and sensual vibrancy. This was a damp squib and average at best. The group were more set-up for a Northern working men’s club and would’ve been lucky to not escape the ‘pay off’. The played less than a hour then decided to have 3/4 hour break before returning. We left disappointed well before the end and because our backsides couldn’t sit on the wooden pews any longer. Don’t bother if you loved Prince because you’ll feel totally let down

Birthday treat for our youngest. She loved it as did we, her parents. The quartet were fabulous. My congratulations to the cellist. Dexterity to a T.

Musicians interaction with the audience

The candlelight concerts populated on Instagram and immediately caught my attention. The ambiance is beautiful. I wasn't a classical music fan but I love the approach of modern music with a classical twist. The musicians are world-class. The narration, and musicianship of each concert has been phenomenal. I have been to all the concerts hosted at the Westdale theater which is a beautifully historic venue.

The music and venue (The Westdale Theatre in Hamilton) we’re wonderful. Staff and volunteers were friendly and attentive.

Durch viel Werbung und stimmungsvolle Bilder in diversen Medien für diese Konzerte war auch unsere Erwartung entsprechend.
Fazit: stimmungsvolles Ambiente in der Herz-Jesu-Kirche in Graz aber die Musik wurde in genau 61 Minuten einfach nur herunter gespielt. Die € 60,- für die Kategorie "A" waren es nicht wert - schade!

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the “Music of Taylor Swift by Candlelight” event held at St Albans Cathedral, which I attended last night.

Unfortunately, the experience fell significantly short of what was advertised. The event was promoted as a candlelight performance, however there was a severe lack of any meaningful “candlelight” atmosphere. Instead, the setting and lighting felt more akin to a school disco, which was completely at odds with the tone and ambience that had been implied.

Additionally, the performance itself felt misleadingly marketed. It would have been far more accurate to describe the act as a tribute band, rather than presenting it as a refined candlelight music experience. The expectation set by your advertising was not met in any meaningful way.

The environment throughout the event was also extremely disappointing. There was constant talking, people moving around, and a general lack of any sense of occasion or respect for the performance. Had the event been advertised more honestly as a casual or child-friendly entertainment evening, myself and many others I spoke to in the audience would not have attended.

Due to the above, my friend and I chose to leave during the interval. This was particularly frustrating given that the tickets were not inexpensive, and I had purchased them as a birthday gift. I was genuinely embarrassed to have brought my friend along to what was intended to be a special evening.

Given the circumstances, I would appreciate your response addressing these concerns, and I would expect you to consider appropriate compensation or a refund in light of the misleading nature of the event.

Truly an outstanding performance that far exceeded my expectations. The quartet was very talented and this was such an amazing date night for my husband and I!

What an incredible experience!

The concert was fantastic! We went to the Drake show and they played a wide variety of his catalog. The ambiance was exactly what we were looking for. The only disappointing factor was the printed photo we purchased. The image was small and blurry, it was a terrible print job. I’ve printed better pictures at home.

The performance was amazing!!!! The music really moved me. It lost one star because there were people behind us talking and it would have been nice to have staff walking around informing people to be quiet.

The venue was good, the musicians were better
