Buymie is very convenient when u need some groceries in a hurry. Just had a new baby so the ease BuyMie gives me when I have a house to run but no time to go out for shopping is priceless.

I did not realise till yesterday that…
I did not realise till yesterday that BuyMie set up Dunnes stores shopping app but do not work for them. I placed my weekly shopping online order & noticed my €10 of €50 wasn’t available I sent a quick message and got back a message sorry use this code. Within seconds of my order being accepted I got a email from BuyMie saying they had noticed a error on their side re me being under charged by a shopper (who works for them) and that I owed them €39.09 to be taken from my account within next 7 days as I didn’t have enough funds in my account I had to cancel my food shop. I contacted Dunnes stores head office spoke to a manager who explained if I order day ahead it cones from them so I did a small order I was charged €10 delivery and shopper arrived with missing items without calling me in advance. Has this happened to anyone else please check all receipts as if I did not contact BuyMie about my voucher they would have just taken them money without my permission

I have used Buymie a good few times now and I find them very useful and helpful. They are great if you only want a small shopping. The staff are so friendly. I really appreciate that.

Excellent customer service, the instant messaging service is super easy and efficient. The team are really helpful and friendly. The shoppers are great and pack the items in an organised way that make it easy to unpack. There's an option for them to call you to discuss any swaps and they tend to pick really good quality items

Excellent customer service
I had a personal shopper from Buymie today who went the extra mile. I thanked her and commended her to her company as she saved me a lot of trouble and bother when she really didn't need to. She was tipped and I made sure that she gets thanked for her efforts. A wonderful company!

If I could give it a 0 I would. I have to wait around all day and the representative was no help whatsoever. Avoid and just order directly from Dunnes.

Ordered 2 times..
1st time was horrible.. hours late and all wrong food.
2nd time was an even worse experience.
I spent over €100 on groceries, everything came warm and melted... all dairy products.. all meat products, ice creams etc.. even managed ontop of that to get most of them wrong.
I don't know how people get interviewed for a job here... but I'm guessing you just need somthing that looks like a driving licence and away you go.
Also not to mention just to save anyone the haslte... the Customer service is the worst part about it all.
I would rather poo on my hands and clap ... then have to ever deal with this company again.

HIDDEN EXTRA CHARGES: Do not give credit card details
Same as other people’s experience, I was overcharged extras with Buymie. The cost of my shopping as per invoice comes to 71.35€, but I have been charged 83.34€. Subsequently, I have been charged another 13€ (no details at all of charged amount). When I did my shopping, I only authorised a charge of 75€, are they even allowed to charge more than the authorised amount? Is this even legal?Contacting bank today. I won’t be using Buymie again and I’ll make sure to let others shoppers know. I do not understand how Dunnes Stores has any affiliation with them.

Would you mind responding to the request for more information we've sent you via Trustpilot?
I can confirm that when you check out on our app, you will be given an estimated order total based on the products you've added to your cart.
Your final order cost may change due to extra items you add to your order after checkout or if items are removed or substituted.
What you've described above would only occur if extra items were added to your order after checkout or if a number of items were substituted for higher value items. If this hasn't happened, we encourage you to contact our customer care team, who will be more than happy to assist in resolving the issue.
Update 07/05/25 12:00PM - I've located your order and can see that you used our extra items feature to add more items to your basket after you had already checked out.
As noted in our app and our FAQ, when you add extra items, the cost of these items will be added to your final order cost once your order is delivered. Additionally, a slightly more expensive product replaced one of your items. Lastly, you tipped your personal shopper 5%.
With all of the above in mind, this resulted in the final balance of your order going above the initial estimate.

I purchased groceries with them for 70€ and they took another 100€ from my account "to cover substitutions" and they I won't be getting it back for another 10 working days. They done this without my permission. And they left me short two items and one item was out of date
