Crikey James, give me a chance. You emailed me over the weekend and I emailed you straight back to say that I will look into it on Monday when I have access to the system at the office. I've now come in and sorted it for you straight away (8am), before I've even had my morning coffee!! :) You ticked the box to opt in to the auto renewal on your VIP membership. Please note, that's opting in and not opting out so you chose for it to be renewed but I've even said to you that I can reverse that choice if you don't want the VIP Membership. Surely that's the perfect outcome you'd want? As for someone winning twice, that's the luck of the draw. I hardly think 1 star is necessary for someone being lucky enough to win twice. Unsolicited nuisance emails
I am constantly being bothered by unsolicited emails cajolling me to enter competitions etc!
I have no interest in cars and have never been in contact with Bridge for anything, so, why me?
I have searched for an unsubscribe button to try to rid myself of these people, They tell me there is one on every page! I have just checked a random sample from the hundreds of emails I have received without seeing a single unsubscribe button. (I will expect one to miraculously appear now!
Their persistence and their methods are worrying!

Hi Colin, how very disappointing that you have decided to leave us such a poor star rating. I emailed you straight away, on a Sunday afternoon, to help with your query and I hoped my response would have reassured you that we were not hidden away behind computers not willing to talk to our customers. Obviously that went unnoticed. As I am sure you can appreciate, 1 star reviews can be very damaging to a business of this size but I take it you choose not to consider this when leaving such a poor rating. I find that a little unfair but I will respond to your concerns in the same manner as I did yesterday and hope it will help you with your query. The only way our database stores your information is if you, the consumer opts in to receive correspondence from us. There is absolutely no other way your email address gets saved manually as this is illegal. It is not an automatic opt in as this is also illegal. You would have chosen to tick the box. Having said that, every email you receive from us gives you the option to unsubscribe which automatically removes you from future correspondence. I appreciate that you refuse to accept this information but you attempted to prove that I was incorrect by sending me back a link to my 'contact us' page found within the restoration part of the business which is not linked to our competitions nor our email database. My response to you yesterday was that the 'unsubscribe' option is on every email, not every single page of our website as this would not make sense to the majority of visitors to that page. As I said yesterday, we are all humans and we are simply running a business and offering a service that we hope people enjoy. I fully accept that you don't and I can only apologise that you are receiving information that you do not wish to receive but sometimes approaching a situation thinking someone is there to help you is much more powerful and honourable than sending abusive content when the recipient is not even aware and has not been given the opportunity to help. It's good to be kind!

Bridge Classic Cars advertised via E…
Bridge Classic Cars advertised via E bay a 1996 Rover Cabriolet which had come to them as part of a deceased estate. It was advertised with an opening price of £1000 with no reserve. It was listed as a sale and they were selling it as their workshop was full and they could not do anything until 2024. I contacted them via E bay asking how many owners usual sort of stuff and although it had no reserve did they plan to withdraw from e bay for any reason. I also asked should I contact them and what they would take for it. The following day the e bay item had been removed. 2 days later I see it advertised as in their workshop and would be for sale. They have not corresponded with me at all and done the opposite of what they said on e bay.

Hi Robert, thanks for your review although it was not what we strive for. I am struggling to understand the need for a 1 star rating when it seems we have not responded to your request for further information in a timely fashion. Our adverts ask for you to call or visit as we get inundated with emails and messages on a daily basis. But people who call or visit get the information they require. We have a team of three in house that respond to messages online daily but we simply can't get to all messages all of the time. We do our best. We ask anyone who is interested in buying a car to call or visit us and be happy with the car they are interested in rather than us providing further information and further images. We simply can't do that to everyone all of the time. You are asking 'what we would take for it' but the advert states what we would take for the car so it's all there for you to see. We do not just advertise on eBay, we have our own website for people to list for free called MyClassics that get messages, we advertise on Car and Classic which get fewer messages, we run competitions weekly that reach millions online everyday and come with hundreds of messages that require a response everyday. We try and make it as clear as possible and give people the relevant information in order to satisfy themselves. The car was advertised for £3995, it has been dropped to £2995 but reading between the lines of your comment above you wanted it for less than £1000 and seem unhappy that we didn't get back to you fast enough. I'm sorry, the car will never been that sort of money but I don't feel we deserve a 1 star review because of that. Regards Craig
Sent in a couple of postal entries…
Sent in a couple of postal entries accurately and in plenty time for a high cost ticket raffle. Then decided to send a couple of postal entries for a different low cost ticket raffle. On hearing nothing weeks later I emailed to ask for info about the postal process, since time was running out for the final draw dates for both those raffles. I was quickly sent an email with two codes for free entry to the lower cost raffle, which I appreciated. However, there was no sign of any entries for the higher cost raffle? lost in the post? entries not completed correctly? I photocopied all my entries, double checked their accuracy, and had a friend double check them also, could find absolutely nothing wrong. So, lost in the post(three separate entries?) or simply ignored by the company. You decide. The email they sent did ask that I consider online entries in order that they are able to continue offering these competitions, which I fully understand. I have spent a small fortune (pensioner) entering these competitions by online payment, but on this one occasion I was cash strapped for money for entering, so thought I would try the cheaper postal entry route. Looks like its a waste of time using postal entry, even though its supposed to be a legal requirement for them offering these raffles. Scam or not, the jurie's out. Not sure I'll be taking part ever again, beware.

R.A.F. Bentwaters Classic Experience
Ideal location, good varied selection of cars from the man who restored in his garage, to the high end professional restoration, all unique in their own right. Nice atmosphere with the swing and jive music, and not a ghetto blaster. Would like to have seen more stalls generally, including an Autojumble, maybe weather forecast was to blame. Totally trustworthy
I enter most of their competitions with at least one online paid entry and a postal free entry.
Although the free postal entry is a little bit of a rigmarole it’s very doable and I’ve always been given one.

Hey James, it is 50 tickets per order not per person. If someone chooses to go on and make multiple orders to better their chances then they can do so. Speaking openly, on average we sell 3 tickets per order so that means more people buy 1 than they do many but it is the choice of the individual. Thank you very much for taking the time to reach out to us, a 1 star review is a little harsh and all of the many many negative comments on our social media channels are also not necessary. I appreciate you are disappointment not to have won but not everyone can win unfortunately. Please ensure you read the terms and conditions and make yourself happy that you understand them. As you know, I replied to you at 10pm last night and again at 5:30am this morning so I am always checking my emails and we are open from 8am every day so a simple phone call could have avoided all of this negativity. We are always here to help.
Great customer service!
I was the fortunate winner of a 1976 Leyland Mini Clubman from one of the competitions they run. The experience was a little surreal in how effortless and seamless the transfer of ownership happened. They also very kindly delivered the lovely car personally and at no cost which was a very much appreciated touch (which they were not obliged to do, they were just being very nice). Thanks for the Mini, I'll take good care of her!

I had great difficulty gettin my bank card to register in your system from abroad, so I called your Ph: No, and was helped by a couple of different fellas to get stuff sorted. So with some patience on their part they managed to get your system to accept my Debit Card.
