Total scam. There is no lovely Hollis
Who has been baking for 42 years and retiring. There is no Hollis sitting at the table hand making bees wax bags.
This is cotton with a plastic insert.
Big mistake. Returns hahahahahah. No return label..no credit until the product is inspected.

Chocolate muffin was rich and satisfying without being overly sweet. Soft texture, plenty of chocolate flavor, tasted freshly made.

it's been almost 3 weeks since I ordered this and i have not received it yet. I tracked it, looked like it was coming from China. This is not what I was told by a "company email" after i complained about legitimacy, and that it was made in the USA. They sent an email assuring me that They were legitimate and their product does come from the United States, and that the tracking & shipping info I found must be an error. My determination is this is a scam. Do not order from them.

Today the 2 chintzy cheap bread bags arrived by delivery. Look nothing like ones pictured in their add. Not thick layer of beeswax at all. Looks like a plastic tablecloth inside, doesn't smell of anything, but synthetic plastic.

Pkg had uniuni logo, said from: Shenzhen Qianhai Wanb with JFK markings for JF Kennedy Airport in New York City? Because it went through New Jersey ... according to delivery markings, via China.

My credit card company said there was some involvement of something in the state of Delaware as well listed when they researched it. I took pictures but not sure if they can be attached here.

Scam. These bread bags are made in China, not by the "Brenner" couple who supposedly own a bakery in Rhinebeck, NY. They are cheap muslin bags, not canvas, with a plastic lining and bizarre straps with latches. The graphics are completely different. There is no beeswax and they are poor quality. Don't buy. I'm pissed and hoping I can get a refund from my credit card company, as I read another review that said they emailed the company and never got a reply. I also emailed them, too, but it hasn't been too long, so will see if they reply but will contact my cc company in the meantime.

The bag is not beeswax but lined with plastic. Has a plastic clasp the makes no sense. The bread lame is nothing but razor blades that hardly fit on the end. Save your money. This is a scam company and website.

Breakfast pastry paired perfectly with my morning coffee. Fresh, flavorful, and made for a great start to the day. Would definitely order it again.

Should be a no star option. Like the other buyers this is a scam. I haven’t received my order yet but when I got tracking and saw they were coming from out of the country I knew it was a bad sign. I emailed them and haven’t heard back. I contacted my credit card company and was issued a credit. So annoying that these scammers seem to be more prevalent every day. I even did an online search to make sure the bakery was real. I’m just going to check Trust Pilot before I purchase anything moving forward.

SCAM!!! As everyone else has said. Crappy cheap bags lined with plastic. So mad. I looked up reviews. They were great. I’m not ordering online anymore. What a freaking joke.

This was false advertising of a product from a bakery in the Hudson Valley for Premium 100% cotton Beeswax bread bags. When the package was delivered from Rancho Cucamongo, California with international tracking codes, the contents were cheaply made with vinyl or plastic lining. When I contacted company, I was offered a 20% partial refund to avoid paying international shipping rates to return. Everything about the site is false.

One star because zero is not an option.
Bread bags only partially resemble what is shown in ad. No beeswax lining. Plastic insert sewn in. Strap and buckle closure, not drawstring and spring toggle as shown in the picture.
Customer service said they're clearing out a warehouse in China and must've sent the wrong product, but return shipping to China would be my expense and offered 10% refund ($3.49) to keep the bags. I declined and they offered 20% for what was their fault, but this appears to be a giant scam.

Same experience as other reviewers. Ordered what looked legitimate , got update that package was coming from China which sounded wrong. Bags arrived yesterday with just Bread Bag on them. No Brenners Bakery branding and inside liner appears to be plastic. JUST ANOTHER SCAM.

Scam - it sounded liked a legitimate story - handmade bread storage bags. Tracking showed the package cleared customs 😖 - the return address was Rancho Cucamonga CA - NOT Hudson Valley, NY - bag looks nothing like photo in advertisement. Appears to be plastic iinside.😖 Beware!

Total scam! I got 2 bread bags that were lined with plastic. Should have researched ahead of time-my bad.

Total scam. Inside the “wax” bread bag is a plastic lining.. Tracking showed it was shipped from China.

AI photos, these people don’t exist. Products are fake

The Domain has been taken over by a scam. They offer handmade beeswax bread bags from the owner who is shutting down the business. 2 weeks later you get tracking from China? May not even be shipping at all. Have seen some reviews they got plastic bags.
