The thing I enjoy most is that the fruit and veg is not wrapped in plastic!! It also tastes good.

Box Divvy provides a great alternative to the supermarket shop. They work with local growers and producers to provide quality food through Hubsters who are paid by their local community hub to pack for their hub members. It's a terrific system that continues to grow.

If you like local, sustainable, seasonable, fresh -- and cheaper than a supermarket shop, even after paying for the pack -- you will probably love Box Divvy. I was a Hubster for more than a decade and now I'm a hub member still loving Box Divvy and my smart, capable hubster.

Did I mention Box Divvy reuses and recycles? My Ashfield hub recycles all my soft plastics.

Have been using Box Divvy since they first opened in our suburb a few years ago. Absolutely love the external accountability and weekly rhythm as it’s saved us from doing lots of little emergency shops during the week.

Produce lasts much longer than Colesworth (spinach leaves, blueberries etc last two weeks in the fridge) and tastes delicious.

We may be extra spoiled as our hubster Louise is a great communicator, extremely organised, friendly, and just so on top of things… even when we moved to another suburb we stayed in her hub as we couldn’t bear to switch to a different one!

Ive been using this service for 18 months now. It took a little bit of getting used to initially, because I would have to plan a couple of days in advance. Now I am in the swing of things and I really like it- the produce is consistently the same price or cheaper as larger stores, and always fresh and tasty it has really helped me to cook seasonally , and this idea aligns with my values . My hub is just around the corner from my house which makes it very convenient to get on my way home from work.

I’ve been buying Box Divvy fruit and veges for at 5 years. The produce is 99% perfect every time. I think it’s great that Box Divvy aren’t afraid to buy the out of shape and somewhat ugly produce that Coles and Woollies won’t even look at. Our Hubster at Stan Bonnells Bay is a star, always keeps us to date with what’s happening and The Buzz email every week keeps everyone informed. Keep up the good work.

I have used box divvy in 3 different locations. Always a great experience & excellent quality produce. I'll never shop at big supermarkets again for what they call "fresh food", as it is no comparison.

Can’t recommend it more highly. The fruit & veg last longer and taste better. I eat more veggies because of it. We have formed a little group inside our hub and take turns in collecting so I only need to do my ‘shopping’ about once every month. I rarely need to go to a supermarket these days as I just bulk buy all the other stuff I need. I’ve been a member for over two years. Life is so much better without supermarkets!

Even fresher and lasts so much longer than big chain store bought fruit. You always end up with more than you purchased for most items. Taste wise comparable to store-bought and often waaay better.

I love what Box Divvy is trying to achieve by bringing community back into grocery shopping. The prices are great, but the quality and value are even better. It’s refreshing to shop differently rather than just another clinical supermarket experience.

I’ve introduced so many family and friends to Box Divvy because I genuinely believe in the concept. I hope they continue to grow and eventually become a national success. We need more businesses like this bringing community back.

I've been using Box Divvy for over 2 years and would never go back to supermarkets again. Always great quality and FRESH; pick up yourself or have delivered all the things offered by supermarkets except for the middlemen. Fruit, veggies, groceries, meat, fish, and groceries. Supermarkets travel thousands of kilometres with our food travelling backwards and forwards across the country relying on the distribution chain and cold store. Well not anymore for me. I use Box Divvy for fresh and local and better prices. Try it - order from your local hubster and see for yourself what I experience every week and support your local farmers.

Our family has been using Box Divvy since 2019. Always fresh produce, great prices, and on the very rare occasion there is an issue they process a refund immediately. My son always looks forward to pick up day and starts eating his crunchy snacks straight out of the box on the drive home.

Fresher than supermarkets and priced better too. The biggest issue is the “rubbery” quantities for things like beans- measured as “handfuls”. Makes recipe planning difficult. Also size of individual items can vary greatly leading to the recipe planning issue again.

I just want to give a huge shout out to Boxdivvy. I'm located just outside of Canberra, swapped hubs 3 times over 2.5 years with orders weekly. My first order was March 2024 and I'm a very happy customer still to this day with freshness and price. I've recently started ordering meat along with fruit and veg and the quality is fabulous, no fillers and grass fed.

Amazing fresh produce at an awesome price direct from farmers and packaged up by friendly smiling people what more could you want. Not having to spend time in a supermarket to top it off.

I have been part of Box Divvy since April 2024. In that time my grocery shopping habits have changed in a big way and for the better. Plenty of fresh, good quality seasonal produce! The prices are certainly cheaper than the big supermarket chains, but at the same time the farmer gets a better deal :)

The best decision we made as a family!

Joining Box Divvy has genuinely changed the way we shop and eat. The freshness and quality of the produce are fantastic, the pantry range is huge, and there is always something new to discover.

We eat better, enjoy a greater variety of fresh food, and get incredible value for money. But what makes Box Divvy even more special to us is knowing that our farmers and growers are paid fairly. This is a value our family strongly champions, and being able to support the people who grow our food makes every shop that little bit more meaningful.

Add to that the freshness, quality, variety and the opportunity to support our local community, and it really is a win all round.

For our family, Box Divvy is so much more than just groceries. It’s a better way to shop, eat and support the people and values that matter to us. We honestly wouldn’t want to go back!

I've been ordering from Box Divvy since 2019 and I've never looked back. The fact that I can get good quality fruit and veg that's paying farmers a fairer price but I don't have to drive to the markets is a win-win! I love the free range eggs (REAL free range - not the same as supermarkets) and the sourdough is a staple in our household. It's easy to order online and I love being in a group of like-minded people who share recipes and love cooking. Easy pickup about 5 minutes away. Everyone should give it a go!

Hubsters are lovely but those running the business are rude, unprofessional and nasty. I do not recommend using box divvy, only if you want to be belittled and harassed. Plus the quality has gone down. If there was a minus star rating they would be there. Absolute joke.

Absolutely would not purchase. I did one (very large) order, and it was a fail both on freshness and value. I did get my cucumbers refunded as they were bending almost in half - but was basically told tough luck with the other issues.
With multiple items, the produce was very small, and the didn’t make up for this by increasing the quantity sufficiently. This meant that that the value was worse than even high-end grocery stores. For example, the kiwi was so small it ended up almost $15/kg. The specialty grocer near me sells the top quality kiwi for $9.99/kg. And this was the case with multiple items, including bananas.
Also, it just wasn’t that fresh. I got old capsicums that were going soft, lemons also old. My potato was soft and sprouting in under a week. My cauliflower and rockmelon were smaller than the size of my hand. So when you factor that in, it is not good value.
They must be buying the cheapest stuff they can find at the markets- that’s the only explanation I can come up with!

I’ve just done my first order with Box Divvy. I am pretty fussy with veggies and fruit, and I know what is fresh and what isn’t, as I grew up in the country.

With my order, about 90% was fresh. Especially the spinach leaves — they were excellent! Zucchini was great. Capsicums were so juicy. On the other hand, the oranges and cucumbers were just okay. I guess cucumbers aren’t in season. So I cannot expect too much.

When it comes to pricing, I’ve found it’s much cheaper than the local supermarkets. And the stock selection is amazing. I can get some special jams, condiments, artisan bread, etc. I’m very impressed.

I’ll stay with Box Divvy for a while, I think — and the lady who runs the hub is really kind. 😊 so overall I’m very happy. So I’m giving 5 stars.
