Appalling. My order never arrived and they ignored all attempts to contact them about it including failing to respond to Paypal when i escalated the issue. Will never use again.
Poor Customer Service and Useless Courier
I placed an order after reading a glowing review by Martin Lewis of MoneySavingExpert. Boston also had a sale on so that encouraged me further. Needless to say the delivery still hasn’t turned up and the courier company (UKMail) claim the house I live in and pay Council Tax for doesn’t exist. The very same house that’s on electoral roll, Royal Mails PAF and numerous mapping website. Speaking to Boston on the phone I was promised a callback this never happened. Phoned again and yet again promised a call back this surprise surprise also didn’t happen, maybe because it was Friday afternoon and Boston were more interested in going home then resolving an order.
I am also having issues cancelling the order, as the companies website doesn’t provide a way of cancelling.
I will not be recommending this company to anyone.
Luxury cover no filling flat pillows
I got luxury cotton cover pillows reduced from £17 however they had very little filling, they went as flat as a pancake on first night sleeping!
The response I got from Boston was “ The pillows you purchased are designed to create a value product with a more luxurious touch, hence the cotton cover but also the small price tag for the pair. After checking they seem relatively normal for a product of this value. We do understand customers will prefer higher or lower levels of filling”
So I say be warned you get what you pay for not a luxury bargain but flat cheap pillows with a nice cotton cover and if you don’t like it the company say pay more and don’t expect luxury despite our advertised description. After haggling they offered a goodwill refund if I post them back, so after checking with delivery I would only loose £12 to get flat pillows. Avoid!

You get what you pay for and the pillows were terrible....went flat after 3 nights.....the quilt is ok but I expected better quality...I found the website on Martins Money Tips so expected it to be of very good quality...Like I said you get what you pay for !!!!
A Masterclass in Customer Service - Jane Andersen deserves an award.
I recently purchased two single duvets for the kids - both arrived in a timely fashion and the quality was excellent despite being a steal, thanks to being on sale. This spurred me on to search out a double duvet - I wanted a 13.5 tog goose or duck down duvet however, I couldn't find one on the site and having checked all other duvets... there appeared to be only singles available. Quite miffed. I thought I'd email Customer Services to enquire, not really expecting a response at all, or at best a standard response telling me it's tough luck... however what I received was a personal reply from Jane Andersen within less than 90 minutes of me hitting 'send'.
Jane gave me some quality information, advising that the surplus of singles was due to them being less popular than doubles... makes sense... Jane also gave me insight into an upcoming batch of stock and an indicative schedule for availability. That's fantastic isn't it? But, that wasn't all.
Jane offered to 'keep an eye out' for a duvet that matched my specifications and offered to let me know when stock would be available - setting my expectation that my exact requirement may not be available, although other options might be of interest.
My email was sent and responded to on Friday - Jane offered to contact me again on Monday with an update... and to be perfectly honest, despite the initial pleasing response, I didn't reeeaaalllly expect to hear anything further.... that's unfortunately how things go these days... YET... Monday came, and so did an email from Jane. Within it, details of what stock was expected to be arriving later in the week and a further offer to contact me when they are booked in!
Now, it's Tuesday. I have no reason to doubt Jane will contact me again as per her offer, and when she does I'll be buying that lovely, soft, fluffy duvet and might just spend the day in bed!
If any business wants to know how to set clear expectations and win over a prospect, increase their sales, instil a sense of loyalty from customers, boost their reputation due to positive referals and stand out from the competition... they should take a leaf out of this company's book - specifically Jane Andersen's book.
I believe in good customer service, and it's easy to complain when things go wrong... That's why I like to take time and feed back, to balance things out, when things go better than expected.
Hands down THE best experience I've had from any retailer in the past...Jane - Thank you. I hope your boss treats you to a lie in, or a free lunch.

*** EDIT - So it's Friday... I've just had an email from the marvelous Jane mentioned above, true to her word. I've now placed my order for a much needed double duvet and I couldn't be happier with the consistently outstanding service I've received. I'm just your average customer, this company have no idea who I am... they owe me nothing... yet they've made me feel like a valuable customer and provided a really personal service. That's just amazing! Looking forward to my duvet arriving soon.

Disappointed.
My first delivery was stolen, but replacements were soon despatched and received. I was a bit dissapointed. The pillows were OK but the supersoft matress protector was a total let down. It didnt look anything like its advertised picture and was so thin you'd never know it was on your bed and I doubt it would protect anything. Such a shame.

VERY poor quality, and no way did the 3 duvets I purchased conform with the rated tog,
Very thin, they were unusable, except for the so-called 13.5 tog, which is now used in place of a 9.5 tog duvet. Of course, now we have tried the duvet, it cannot be returned
I suggest you purchase from a reputable store where you can see what you are purchasing, because you will find that to return, you will have to pay the shipping, which would be half the cost of the duvets.

My last order of 2 pillows although not …
My last order of 2 pillows although not expensive went flat after a few sleeps on them, I could not after several trys to fluff them up again.
As they were still fairly new I put them in a charity bag, bad experience put me off buying again.

Ordered 4 duvets arrived in good time and excellent quality. Kids and I love them!!
I then ordered what was described as a duck feather mattress topper excellent value at £26, however it's not really a mattress topper more a mattress protector and therefore rather expensive!

Bad Buy.
Purchased a pair of pillows based on a recommendation on MSE. When they finally arrived they were really cheap, poor quality & one was not even stitched at the end so the contents were falling out. Would not buy from this company again.

Product good but only two stars because customer service is non-existent. I have sent 4 emails over the past 10 days and not received a reply. The retailers name on the duvet has been blanked out with thick black felt pen and I want confirmation that this will not definitely not run and stain when duvet is washed. Will you reply here?
