Door handles don't work & it's not their fault!
Our doors were installed less than 18 months ago.
Now one of the handles doesn't work and they are saying it's not their fault.
And this is after they messed up the original delivery and installation.

We appreciate your updated review. We feel that our customers deserve an explanation regarding this matter for future references, as we always tend to provide the best customer service. Hence why we have been giving you outstanding, quick replies since you have raised the issue.
The concern has been raised to our office stating that there is a problem with the door handle, our office suggested that it would be very useful if you could send us a video of the issue to give us a better understanding of the problem. From the evidence in the video that was sent to us, we discovered that there is no issue with the handle, but with the lock. We explained to you that the lock is covered by our warranty conditions for up to a year after the purchase of our product which is all well described in your warranty document. However, your warranty for the lock was not valid anymore due to the purchase being made over a year ago. In this case, we offered a new lock for our standard fee; we also advised that we are happy to provide the service of the new lock within 24 hours. As you insisted that we offer you a free service, the matter was raised to our CEO who personally explained that your warranty for the lock has expired. We do hope that you are happy with the service that we have provided and wish you all the best

Good customer care but shop around first
Follow up: The team revisited the doors and replaced the seals. They will replace the door hooks in time. The seals (gaskets) we'll need to replace regularly, which I wish I'd known about but hopefully in time better solutions will be found. The company have been excellent in responding to these issues.
Second Edit: The doors have been installed for three years and issues persist. The seals have failed. The door hooks are pealing. The doors are not airtight and a cold spot. And it's all out of warranty.
Edit: I have updated the original review below because the company has worked hard to remedy the issues. The door is nearly airtight (we have to wait for the new rubber seals to bed in) and we can't see any water ingress. The customer service and desire to get it right has been fantastic. I still have question marks over the quality of the door but, as I have no other crittal style door to compare it to, it's difficult to make an accurate assessment. I'm not 100% satisfied as there are elements on the door like screws and locks that are not coated so the paint is chipping away exposing the silver metal underneath (this shows up in a completely black door). I would recommend you shop around first as it's not a small investment in price to make.
Original review: I chose this company over another one, which was similar in price, because of the reviews here and a genuinely pleasant sales experience. I wish I had not. From start to (not quite) finish the whole experience has been problematic and unnecessarily stressful as a result. It started well - the company made it very easy to purchase, the site survey went well but after the money was paid it all went downhill from there. Promised delivery dates rescheduled at the last minute, promises of the CEO contacting us (still waiting), and now we have a door that leaks (water is coming in at two points), isn't airtight (causing condensation problems), and a list of other snags (plus, now, damaged tiles from cutting metal to add to the list) that the company promises to do their best to fix but has failed to do so, so far. We are waiting for the team to turn up for the third time and they will be 3 hours late (again). I can't fault them for trying, the team do seem to genuinely care and are willing to try and sort out the snags but trying can only get you so far when you need a door to be air- and water-tight. Maybe this project is unusually glitchy but the fact remains I have purchased a product that isn't up to the sales pitch and the company hasn't yet put right. I expected better certainly from the reviews here and photos on their site. I'll update this review to reflect the final outcome.

We love our doors! We have both a Black Steel Doors internal bifold door and seperate sliding door. The quality of the workmanship is truly excellent and everyone agrees they are the centrepiece of our house renovation.
Everything was delivered efficiently and on time and the company was very accommodating.

Great product
Great product, workmanship and install. I had two sliding doors fitted. Absolutely love them and we have had some amazing compliments from everyone that has seen them.
I would recommend black steel doors if you really want the wow factor.
