Our story started in 1975 when Richard Browning founded Pioneer Panels. From these simple beginnings as a sheet material supplier, the business added more product lines to better serve our original customers, and evolved into a new company called Southampton Tools during the 1980s. In 2006, with an ever-growing customer base, we re-branded to Bison. This new brand opened up fresh opportunities for entering into new markets, providing a product range better suited to our growing Mechanical & Electrical customer base. Today Bison is a recognised nationwide supplier to the M&E and Building Engineering Services marketplace, with first tier supply relationships in place with many of the UK’s largest contractors. Our operations are central from our Head Office in Southampton and we deliver guaranteed service levels throughout the UK. We’re constantly innovating, developing and expanding. Customer focussed, continuous innovation and a passion for people are our hallmarks.

We went on a Sunday for a birthday

We went on a Sunday for a birthday. We all ordered a parmo. This was like nothing I've seen before, but in a bad way. Supposed to be a hotshot, it had a disgusting topping of peppers in a bbq sauce. I ate the chips because I was so hungry. Service was lackadaisical, 3 orders all the same & she forgot what we'd ordered. Booked for 3.45pm & they wanted us out at 5pm.
I've never left a review before but I was so underwhelmed by the food, the service & attitude. Won't be going back.

Excellent service !

In order to assist us with a last minute problem and to meet a tight deadline, the Branch Manager delivered the materials himself in his own car to our site. This is brilliant customer service and our company truly appreciates all the efforts by the Bison Team.

A very easy company to work with and…

A very easy company to work with and always happy to to the extra mile.
They always give 1st class service and I often wonder if I am their only customer as they always prioritise my requests and orders.

A first class service

A first class service.
Quotations are provided very quickly, and the prices are always competitive.
Stock levels are excellent and complete orders are always delivered when agreed.

Excellent company to deal with

Very responsive with queries, deliveries, issues, as we have many sites that Bison's deliver too in the UK. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Always there to help.

Bison has once again helped us out and…

Bison has once again helped us out and risen to the challenge - We urgently required some cable ladder at short notice to complete a high voltage switch over on a new Cancer Block at Southampton Hospital. The Bison team made arrangements for us to collect the goods direct from the manufacturer in Birmingham - 5 hrs later the goods were on site and the work was complete! Thank you Bison!
