I purchased the 2022 map upgrade for the factory GPS. The shipping was fast. The directions were crystal clear. The update was smooth and easy. Very happy with the product and service. Great work BimmerTech! Keep it up.

the Bimmertech Prime MMi adds Android Auto for me, and it's great. Using Google maps is fantastic, and always up to date, or pushing out new features. On the Bimmertech side, I've had the pleasure of talking to tech support regarding an echo problem during calls and was promptly emailed the suggested settings to correct it. I asked about the latest firmware and was replied back soon as well. They are very helpful and prompt. The MMI Prime definitely beats having a phone attached to the vent. lol. Check them out. The website lists installers in your area. The install went quick.

BimmerTech was very easy to deal with. From sales to customer service to technical support, they were available and able to help. They assisted me with any questions I had and their instructional videos were critical to my installing the MMI Prime system. The system works exactly as described. All I wanted was CarPlay but the system also has mirroring functionality and you can add additional coding features to improve the overall experience with your car as well. I am very happy with this purchase. My car is a 2012 BMW 650i.

I ordered an NBT EVO IF6 retrofit and had (Still having) quite the experience. The ordering process was simple, and the unit was shipped quickly. After that, all the problems started. First, all three major components including, the screen, Head Unit, and PnP Harness, all came with issues. The screen came dead on arrival. The Harness came with damaged pins and was incorrectly wired by the Bimmer-tech team. Finally, the head unit came with a broken port that is still affecting my radio.

The screen was replaced after about a month of wasting my time. The PnP Harness took roughly 2 months to consistently talk with customer support to get replaced. The head unit has not been addressed and the radio is still having issues. After making the changes they requested, the radio has more issues. 5 months out and still trying to get some kind of refund to compensate for this.

Customer support is now being unresponsive to me unless I hound them. They sent me a defective item and aren't willing to fix it. My biggest regret is doing business with this company. For all the good I heard about them, it sucks to be one of the few that had a horrible experience. This might not be your experience, but the risk is there for you when buying from bimmer-tech.

Front Camera for BMW M4

The product and service are outstanding. I had the front camera installed love it! The camera switch is connected to my IDrive and is easy to use. The camera has a clear, wide picture and integrates perfectly with my screen. The front view camera is a savior against hitting cement parking blocks and other objects that would otherwise damage my BMW's front end. It’s exactly what I was looking for and works better than expected. Thank you!

I received the map update for my 2014 X1. The specification and ordering was easy and the fully loaded USB showed up quickly. Installation instructions were easy to follow and the install was faster than I thought. I've been running it for a few months now and it's been a great upgrade. No glitches and so far all the roads, even the newest ones in my area, are listed. Good service, price and product.....plus I did it myself and in my own garage.

Just had my rear view camera retrofit installed about a week ago and so far so good. It’s a great camera and helps being able to navigate and park in a busy city. I highly recommend the product.

I purchased the Rearveiw and Frontveiw cameras with the MMI Prime unit for $1300. Never did get it to work.
Tech support is very friendly once you get ahold of them. It is just that they absolutely insisted it was an installation problem.
I pulled the car apart 6 to 10 times to take pictures and send them. Their responses sometimes seemed like they were not following my past messages. The messages were email and my replies and responses were there on my computer and easy to go back and reveiw.
They finally wrote me off and quit responding to me. My problem was intermittent so they said I must have wired it incorrectly but it is very simple plug and play.
The Front camera plug did not work. They never offered to replace so I hard wired bypassing the bad plug and it worked. But the real problem was the MMI control unit. Both cameras worked but not when I put the car in reverse. When I needed it to work.
So if it works when you get it great. Beware they will not honor any warranty if it does not. I gave up sold the car. Scratched the interior broke an interior piece because I had to pull it apart so many times.
Do not get warm and fuzzy that they respond to bad reviews. The question is did they resolve the problem. I learned the hard way and am trying to help someone else not to make the same misstake. So at your own risk you have been warned.

Response to Bimmertech
There was no damage to the wiring or the unit when I originally installed. The damage happened due to the multiple times they asked me to take pictures of the install. As well as to me insisting on sending it in.
40% Restocking fee minus any damage. I paid $1300 for this and expected better customer service.
Maybe offering to replace the system free of charge. Or at least pay for shipping. Then there is the part you shipped that I never received and no one their would answer my emails.
I sold the car for other reasons but this experience took a lot of the fun out of it.

I recently ordered the map update for by 2016 X5. The website was easy to use and the price was cheaper than OEM. Installation was also very straightforward. Highly recommend

When I ordered a map upgrade for my x6, I didn’t think it would get here so quickly. Along with email updates as to the progress of when it would arrive. I was pleasantly surprised to find out how easy it was to install and took no time at all. Plugged it in, hit upgrade and walked away while it did its thing. Works perfectly! Love when I find a company like this. Good job guys.

I purchased all but the subs (will in the future). First the amp the followed up with the mids/tweeters. The post installation support was amazing. Maciej Stalmach, helped me with a tune for the amp once everything was installed with about 8-10 different tune iterations until we landed on an amp tune for me. Just awesome.

I was very reluctant to spend $1,600 but I'm glad I did.
I still can't believe how superior the Alpha One Speakers are over the stock Harmon Kardon speakers.
I purchased all (16x) speakers and it sounds like a concert in the car.
Much more crisp and clear sounds at all volumes.

We recently bought a used BMW with only one key fob. The one from BimmerTech is identical to the OE fob. It works perfectly and took only seconds to program.

I recently purchased the Satellite Radio upgrade for my 2014 BMW. The dealership wanted over $700 to upgrade my radio and then I found BimmerTech. I could not believe the saving and upgrades available for a fraction of the price. I am not a very tech savvy person but this upgrade was easy to understand, very easy to upgrade and maybe took 10 minutes total once I connected with the technician from BimmerTech. I would recommend 1000% using them for your BMW upgrades.

This is the first time I've purchased from BimmerTech and I can say it was fantastic. I ordered the CarPlay activation and WiFi cable and had no problems. The instructions were great and the process very easy. I will be purchasing from BimmerTech again soon!

I ordered a front-facing camera and did not know it was not compatible with my Andriod unit Unit. Contacted Bimmer-Tech and explain the retrofit front camera was not compatible and can I return it for a refund. The Technical Support Adrianna Kindziuk assisted me in getting back my refund 20% less restocking fee. This is what I call great quality service and will use them again.

I ordered the map upgrade for my 2011 E93 from BimmerTech. The instructions were clear and the update proceeded without a hitch. It's nice to have an updated GPS in my 10 year old BMW.
