Tried different types on Map Updates for my BMW M435i. Spend a lot of time and money and to no avail until I tried bimmer-tech's solution. It was simply the easyest and least complicated. Ordered it. Got it and plugged it in. Followed the instructions and with 1/2 hour it was done. Bing Bang Boom. Love it and highly recommend it - you won't be disapointed.

Nelson @ Bimmer Tech was very knowledgeable and professional in helping my husband and I install our Apple CarPlay. I was concerned that I would see wires or there would be damage to my dashboard, Nelson did an excellent job in placing everything back as it was. I am so pleased with my Apple CarPlay, I was so shocked I was not able to active the Apple CarPlay through BMW directly. Thank you Bimmer Tech, I will definitely recommend you & return for other coding upgrades.

Bought a beautiful 2018 X3 with 17,000 miles from a Toyota dealership. I assumed it had SirusXM which it didn't. I ordered it from Bimmer Tech and spent more to have a tech help me set it up. They were reasonable in price and extremely helpful since I'm a computer dinosaur.

I ordered the latest map update for my 2016 X3 and it was simple and easy. My local BMW dealership no longer offered the update for my model and year so this was a great alternative. Fast shipping and easy install.

The dealer wanted $900 to update the maps on the GPS. After a short search on the internet I found a very affordable option from BimmerTech. I received the update in the mail just a few days after ordering and the instructions were very simple to follow and my maps were updated with in an hour. Big savings in time and money.

Installed the Apple CarPlay mmi in my wife’s 228i in under an hour. Great solution for adding Apple car play. Can’t wait to buy it for my 435i.

Their apple car play solution for my BMW was excellent. BMW and dealer tell you it is too difficult, but the Bimmertech solution can be done in your driveway. It is most excellent.

Overall, the product, service, responsiveness, and quality have been outstanding. I had an authorized bimmer tech mechanic install my CarPlay MMI Prime device and since then everything has worked seamlessly. I love how naturally it integrates with my BMW and just how much better it makes the car’s experience. Their customer service representatives were there to help along the way and made sure that even I, someone with little car knowledge, was able to get the right product and find the right people to help install it. I will definitely be looking to Bimmer Tech to help upgrade my future BMWs!

I heard good things about BimmerTech and was in need of activating the SiriusXM in my 2015 M3. The dealer quoted me just north of $700. I decided to go with BimmerTech and I’m really glad I did. Ordered a MMI Prime module for my E93. Great pre-purchase support: answered general functionality and installation questions, as well as questions specific to my car. Rapid delivery of the product.
Installation did take a bit longer than planned due to a connection I didn't fully engage. I contacted support, and they replied straightaway pointing out the issue which resolved it. Otherwise, the installation guide and videos were comprehensive. CarPlay works seamlessly on my E93. Very happy!

Map update is one of the easiest updates from BimmerTech. I own a 2015 BMW X5 and much needed a map update. The process was very easy with the instructions which come with it. The whole process took less than an hour with the USB stick and the code. I would highly recommend it to anyone whose maps are older than 2 yrs. The shopping experience was fantastic with bimmertech. I will definitely buy from them again.

Purchased a 2016 BMW X6. Navigation map was out of date; it didn't include the area we moved into. When I asked the dealership what it would cost to upgrade my NAV system, was told it would be $400-500. Ridiculous. Searches online and found Bimmertech. Skeptical at first at the offer for a DOY USB upgrade for only $125. Called and received the usb device in less than a week. It took me about 45 minutes to load the software which was very simple. The upgrade is great and I am totally impressed with the overall customer service.

On 23 Feb I ordered an MMIPrime box for my F33 to add Carplay functionality. The part arrived 1 March customized for my serial number and all the options I had on the car. Nicely packaged and solid hardware. Installation instructions combined with Youtube instruction video made each step clear - full dash disassembly and reassembly without breaking a fastener or wire - I don't usually do so well :-). I had some initial connectivity issues with iPhone because iOS requires a security setting change for Carplay but tech support promptly responded to email and guided me through a couple of setting changes and that set me up. The box interacts with the iDrive perfectly. I have a heads-up display for speed and directions from the iDrive system - they are still active while I am using the main display for Carplay apps for music, waze, etc. All the stock camera and parking aids work flawlessly and interact with the MMIPrime perfectly. My 6-yr old car feels up-to-date now. Well done.

I recently upgraded to Enhanced Bluetooth for my X3 (could only use Bluetooth for phone, not for music). Solution arrived very fast. After a couple of hiccups (I am reasonably sure it was a poor connection on the car's USB port), it updated the iDrive and now works perfectly. The support staff were extremely helpful. FIVE STARS and the strongest recommendation without any hesitation.

Recently updated navigation using BimmerTech in 2016 550i.
Customer service was great, installation was as simple as plugging in USB port.
Graphics are fantastic, with so much road construction detailed routes worked perfectly.
Another win for BMW.
