Site sells Overpriced items. You can find better alternatives that's half the price these guys sell for. No complaints about the technicians I worked with but forget about any returns, they will charge you a ridiculous 30% restocking fee.

Communication with customer service was excellent. I appreciated the fact that the key FOB came programmed and it worked perfectly. I highly recommend using this company.

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH BIMMERTECH

Not Fully Integrated: Bimmertech MMI lacked integration with my car’s cameras and parking functionality which was a safety issue and practically made parking detection and assist unusable.
Glitchy:
Apps would often appear as blank which would only be resolved by rebooting the MMI.
Songs stopped after 30 seconds if running two apps then would restart from the beginning upon hitting play.
Horrible Support:
The installation documentation they sent was incorrect.
Their website videos were unavailable for several days due to a Youtube account violation.
“our technical support is always ready to help” -- except evenings or weekends and only by email.
Clueless. For example The “workaround” idea they provided regarding cameras was to use the car’s memory functions. As the presumed experts, they should have known that wouldn’t work. This merely resulted in more wasted time for me.
They simply don’t value your time and when they don’t know answers, they will essentially be having you perform field testing of their products for them.
Ridiculously Overpriced: Others have posted elsewhere about the price of the MMI versus others. Here are two other example indicators as to the degree Bimmertech is gouging customers:
The Panoramic Screen --- $800 for a non-touch screen taken out of a 2015 BMW.
The Trim Took Kit --- $29 from Bimmertech that broke versus better quality version I got off of Amazon for $8.
Make Them Whole vs Make it Right: Bimmertech makes statements like, “premium, all-inclusive service from start to finish”, so it would be logical to assume as the premium you are paying is for piece-of-mind. But you would be wrong. Rather than own up to their omissions and mistakes, Bimmertech will waste your time, hide behind their one-sided Return Policy and then play games with restocking fees and their UAE location.
Bottom Line: Do yourself a favor and avoid Bimmertech. Instead, just replace the HUD itself – doing so will result in better results and cost you less time, effort, angst and money.

I am thoroughly impressed with Bimmer-tech's Carplay device. The installation process was a breeze, and the device seamlessly integrates into my car's existing system. The functionality of all the apps, including Spotify, Google Maps, and messaging, is exceptional, adding an elevated feel to my driving experience. On top of all this, the delivery and communication from Bimmer-tech was seamless, making the entire experience effortless. I highly recommend this device to anyone looking to upgrade their driving experience!

Bimmer Tech FZE was on point. I downloaded a map update for my 2015 435ix. The USB was mailed out promptly and the download when smoothly. There was a minor glitch at first but that was the last number of the vin wrong. That might have been my fault but when I called tech support we were able to figure out the problem quickly and a new access code was sent and I was able update the map with no problem

I upgraded my map and am extremely happy with the product. Customer service was excellent and they walked me through process step by step.

The service and product were second to none. The self-install was super easy with instructions that made the process take only about 30 mins. Apple carplay now works perfectly on my 3 series. I would highly recommend it!

Professional facility, excellent customer service, knowledgeable reps, clean installation. Customer service helped me pick out the right unit for my car so I could purchase it online during the discount offer. I made an appointment to drop off the car with the unit. The install was completed on schedule. I was given a tutorial on the new unit, and actually found out a few features that I didn’t even know about my car. It’s been working as advertised ever since! I just wish they had a store closer to me so I didn’t have to drive so far, but that is a small sacrifice to get this upgrade. Definitely recommend BimmerTech and their services! These guys know what they are doing!

All around great service from customer service to the shipment of the product. I had a very satisfying customer experience even programming the key fob. I would repeat if I need to replace a key fob. It beats going to the dealership any day.

I read about BimmerTech shortly after buying my car. I was interested in changing a few items and this was the best place to view the changes and then buy my items. The service is great and the products are exactly as described. My first item was a Nav system map update, it arrived promptly and the install was easy with the included instructions. I will most certainly use this service again and again.

Purchased Apple CarPlay and the web site was easy to navigate, great descriptions and video of the product. The product was easy to track and delivery was quick. Also, I had a few questions before ordering and the customer service was great. I’m a very happy and satisfied customer!

Last year I bought a 2019 Mini Cooper Countryman. The car came with a Sirius-XM ready radio. I was not able to because the radio programing was deactivated by the dealer they quoted a price of $600.00 to reprogram the radio. I found Bimmer Tech online and and used their service for a lot less, I love Sirius-XM, the product and service are outstanding. My coding session of my Mini Cooper went very well. I am very happy at how easy and quick it was and how it turn out. I saved about $250.00 their customer service was excellent I highly recommend them and would use them again.

Everything I need to do the install was there and the installation guide made it easy to install the unit. I did not have any issues with the installation or the device.

Bimmertech was amazing. They are the only company to go too for aftermarket BMW upgrades. They are extremely professional and available if you need them. The coding process took less than 10 minutes and I could immediately use the video in motion. 10 out of 10 stars. I highly recommend Bimmertech!

The only one reminder: Turn-by-turn voiceLady needs to be updated by BMW, if you need voice guidance in places like - ‘Central Market’ parking lot, shopping plaza, business district, etc.

The products come plug and play, no coding or wiring needed. Just a bit of time and patience. Also helped to have the diy tool kit.

Ordered the Mini Connected Infotainment Software Update for my 2019 Mini Cooper S Convertible. Once I receive everything via snail mail and email, I noticed that their main office in the U.S. was very near to me in Orlando. Called them up and arranged to bring my car in to them to be upgraded, rather than do a remote cabling procedure, as I did not own a Windows laptop. The whole procedure was painless, and the end result was a 2019 Mini that now has the center console and Apple Car Play presentation of a 2022 Mini. They even gave me a refund on the Cable I had purchased which was no longer needed! They have even featured my car on a You Tube video showing the Infotainment upgrade. Very happy with the in-person care I received

Bought the map update for my 2016 X5 and could not be happier. Looks exactly like the BMW factory installed original version and should have done it long ago.
